When received the rubber was already fraying. After wearing for about 3-4 hours they already had major signs of damage. I went back and gave them my boots. They told me they would be ready the following week on Tuesday. It is now Friday and they haven't touched them because I need to some reason talk to the owner which the shop refused to give me their number. They've held my boots for two weeks now and refused to give me my boots back so I could take them somewhere else to be fixed properly. For those of you who are sitting there debating on replacing your soles on your boots instead of buying a new pair. Please. Save yourself the trouble and just buy a new pair.

They were able to resole the original rubber heel with a Vibram heel cap, as well as fix a chip in the leather stack of the heel. They even fixed a small chip on the top of the sole. The heel cap was definitely not the original one - and thats fine - the new Vibram heelcaps are high quality and it looks pretty good. The pricing felt a little arbitrary (and possibly a bit expensive, but I have no point of comparison) but given the quality of the fix, I think it was a fine enough price for me. As a rough reference, the pricing for the fix was around ~10% of the price I paid for the boots. I think I'd probably come here again for other leather or shoe fixes, my first experience was pretty good all around.

No shoes were ever delivered. They were lost in the mail!!!! What??? Over the…read morelast four months I have had three separate leather items repaired, cleaned and re-stiched/seamed. I had a leather jacket and two purses repaired. Bar none, the repairs were the best I have ever had done anywhere! The quality was outstanding! Their attention to detail is not something I see anymore. On all three repairs they found extra items that needed TLC and did them without extra charges. The staff is always friendly too. I would rate them 4 & 1/2 stars on their workmanship if I could. I would give Casmera 5 stars if they were not so in demand and took longer than expected for all the jobs. That is a great problem to have. Also, striving toward better communication with their customers about the repairs would definitely give them five stars. Don't go anywhere else. Go to Casmera. They were out of the way for me, but so worth it!

I knew the product better than the Asian guy who was working there. As usual, I was offered 10% off to help me along in the sale-process. The bag was $500 from Amazon and I left World Wide Luggage and Gifts with a charge of $476.05 Going with Amazon would have afforded my Prime with Free Returns, but I did my homework online and knew what I wanted as I marched in there. Got me a few bucks off. I'm pretty sure they don't have a refund policy - FYI
