I slammed on my brakes, and went in to check it out. Holy guacamole! Their hanging baskets are regularly $14.99 each, or $12.99 each when you buy 3, so 50% off made them $7.50 or $6.50 each! No joke. I ended up spending $90 and almost couldn't fit all the plants in my car. I thought I had plenty, then I was driving up Ryan 3 days ago, July 8, and saw a sign for 75% off. I've built one before so I already had a decent base of knowledge, but Larry was on a whole other level, total professional. He helped us for a while and made sure all our questions were answered before we left. Really glad about the purchase, the terrarium turned out great and my friend loved it. The prices vary from the other local farmers nearby, but I can say that Ray Wiegand's nursery Guarantees their selection of flowers, plants, trees, shrubs and all items sold. Their plants are grown healthy and colorful as well as the hanging baskets and already grown in pots. The staff of family or friends who are working in many areas of the greenhouse or outside are always helpful and knowledgeable and ready to assist your questions about buying and planting plus offer guidance to problem plants that may be an issue with growing. The store also sells many statues, gardening supplies, outdoor furniture with monthly seasonal decorations for your home! I have been also very pleased with the quality and style made when purchasing in November a Memorial Christmas grave blanket for the cemetery. They had a wide selection of hanging baskets are varying price levels. I love how they have signage with helpful information such as the pricing for the baskets based on color of the tag or warning us not to plant outside too soon as frost is still an option. I was surprised how large this place was as when you see it off of 23 mile road it doesn't look that big. There were several different rooms all stacked with gorgeous flowers, plants or vegetables to plant. I also noticed this place is spick and span clean. There were plenty of carts/baskets to roll through and put your flowers in. I ended up buying one potted flower, a hanging basket, a potted assortment for the porch and a bag of some basic garden soil. My bill came to $100 (I bought the big combo flower arrangements) ; I was able to use a $10 off coupon bringing my total to an easy $90.00 I will be back.

The key is "healthy" plants , where once you put the effort into planting your plant and spending the time and effort to get it established you want it to live. I have had great success over the years with Bordine plants surviving that it has become my go to Nursery store in the area. In this particular visit, I purchased two grapevines, Reliance and Canadice, That are a tad difficult to find and when you do will run you up to $50 per vine. At $19 a vine I feel I got a great deal and knowledge that the plants are healthy and in a good position to survive once planted. Not bad considering the alternatives. If you have a green thumb and have never been to a Bordines before you should definately check this business out.

The cashier directed me to the outdoor space, but I could not find what I was looking for and there was no one around working the outdoor nursery. I went back inside and had to search for an employee. She just finished helping another customer, but she walked with me outside. We were unable to find the elderberry shrub. She was uncertain that they had any left, but I mentioned online they are in stock. We went back inside. She went to a cash register and found that they had five in stock, but she had no idea where they were so she called a different employee. He met me outside and walked me directly to what I was looking for. Well, I appreciate her help. There has to be a better way to find a product more quickly. I appreciate that they were well stopped with what I was looking for in addition to many other plants. I would return if I saw that they had something in stock that I was looking for, but I think I will go directly to a cashier and have them verify exactly where it could be found in the store in order to save time.
