I've never had to wait more than a week for an appointment. The good doctor is a soft spoken and patient man, good with kids. He takes him time and you never feel like he's rushing you out the door. Hope he doesn't plan on retiring any time soon!

I had a mole under my eye that had started bleeding. Of course I googled, and everything I read said go straight to dermatologist. I found Dr. Gold and made an appointment for a skin exam. He glanced at my Mole with the naked eye from about 2 feet away and said it looked fine. Since I had read that bleeding was a problem I asked how he knew. He replied 'how do you know how a website works?' (I'm a web developer.) Meaning, I'm a professional, so don't question my judgement. He told me it wasn't a problem mole, but I could have it removed for cosmetic reasons if I ever wanted to. Long story short, about a year or so later my sister kept complaining about how disgusting it looked so I decided to get it removed. Thank goodness Dr Gold didn't take my new insurance so I went to a different professional to have it removed. She looked at it with some sort of magnify thing and seemed to have an immediate feeling that out was probably going to test positive for being a basal cell. It hadn't grown out changed much since my visit with Dr Gold. It tested positive and has been surgically removed. EVEN CRAZIER, I was telling this story to a co-worker and she was telling me this story that happened to her about 10 years ago where she went to a dermatologist and the guy had just a big know it all attitude and told her she was wasting her money to do a skin exam because she was Italian. Turns out, THAT WAS DR GOLD TOO.

BEST DECISION I MADE! I have been suffering from cystic acne for more than 4 years and I've tried…read moremany other dermatologists but none helped me. I felt like I was going through hell! My first time visiting this place was around a year ago but before Clifton, it was in North Bergen. I made my appointment through the phone which was quick and easy. They told me that I would have to pay full price because I don't have insurance but the price was well worth it. Within the first couple appointments P.A Jamie told me that it's gonna get worse before it gets any better. Meaning the benzol peroxide will take everything from the inside out. I gave it time and consistency with all the products I was given and now my face is clear within half a year. It was like a miracle the way it worked. P.A Jamie gave me my confidence back and now I don't have that stress back when I had cystic acne. She is kind, polite, and very meticulous about her work. She is also very understanding and helpful. She took her time learning about my skin type unlike other dermatologists who just looked at my face for no more than a minute. If you're suffering from cystic acne, this is the place to go. I have referred this place to my coworkers and I see the difference in their faces as well! With that being said I would like to thank P.A Jamie and the staff for such a wonderful experience.

I sent their billing company a copy of my cleared check. They keep calling me that I owe the $10 and will be taking this to collections. This is outrageous. But that's what the documentation says on their end. Paid an additional $200 in just the difference between insurance and my payment. They charged 410.39 to shave wart off. I've received 3 bills totaling $400 and I have insurance. They double charged me for procedures. And than have a 3rd party billing department to deal with any complaints or issues who has to relay you're complaint to them to resolve it. Only to be called back by 3rd party to say there is no resolution. Side note : The NP was knowledgeable and performed her procedures well. I've read yelp reviews for years and this experience with this company was so bad that I actually made an account just to review them !

Dr. Natalie Lau, the physician assistant, came into the room wearing a mask and examined my son from a distance. She never came closer to him and appeared to evaluate his skin from approximately a foot away. She asked him a couple of questions and then prescribed medication. That was essentially the entire visit. As a parent, I found the interaction incredibly unprofessional and upsetting, but what bothered me even more was the impact it had on my teenage son. When a young person is already self-conscious about their skin, they deserve to feel that their doctor is comfortable, attentive, and genuinely interested in helping them. Instead, my son was left feeling as though the provider was uncomfortable being near him. A good healthcare provider should establish trust and a connection with their patients, especially when treating teenagers. Patients should never feel as though they are being treated as something to be avoided or feared. If a provider is uncomfortable getting close enough to properly examine a patient's skin, perhaps this is the wrong profession or, at the very least, the wrong setting for them. I expected a professional, compassionate, and thorough evaluation, and unfortunately, that was not what we received.
