I've been seeing him at Pura Dermatology for probably 7 or 8 years now. I keep coming back every year, and will be before either I move out of the tristate or he does. He's solved basically every skin issue I've brought to him including some stuff that other dermatologists couldn't figure out. Beyond being a great doctor he's also just someone I actually enjoy seeing, which I'd wager is rare feat for a doctor. Overall I recommend him highly. If you need a good dermatologist in NYC, he's your guy.

Not impressed I was…read morevery excited to go to CC for my acne flare up and just left feeling disappointed. I basically wasted the entire 20 minutes I spent there. Left the office and an hour later made an appointment elsewhere. The 19th street location is very nice, clean and modern. The girls who greeted me at the front desk were very polite. I waited about 3 minutes to be called in and waited another 10 for the doctor once inside. The young lady who escorted me in, was also very polite. I was actually not seen by a doctor, but a PA which is not a problem but she didn't do anything. She gave me her work history spiel, to calm any concerns I had about her not being a doctor. She asked me a few questions which I think I had already answered on my pre- appointment paperwork and to which she scribbled the answers on a post it note. Things were looking up when she said ok let's examine you but then she literally stood up in place, leaned in ever so slightly and said "ok" and sat down again. That was the extent of her inspection. Based on the information I gave her she said I had hormonal acne, which I knew already and didn't have to see a dermatologist to determine. She immediately suggested a few prescriptions and the services they provided such as a $450 peel which according to her (and the other young lady who also shamelessly plugged it) does wonders! The whole thing was very matter of fact, this is what you have and you should do this and goodbye. I didn't feel like my issue was addressed, it felt more like "use our products and come back in four weeks to see if it worked". I think the nurse/assistant spent more time with me than the PA did. The worst thing she did which is actually inconceivable and a clear sign that she is not someone I would recommend or even go back to was when I asked her to see a mole I had which I was concerned with. She responded that she could do a body scan "another time". I'm sure to look at one mole, not an entire body scan would've taken 1 minute (especially for her!) and she just brushed it off. I would think that's more concerning than any other issue such as acne. It just felt like she was not interested in doing anything more than suggest their services. I thought of just getting the meds and going elsewhere for a real solution, but I can't even have them filled because they wrote someone else's name on the prescription! Big oversight. I have been to dermatologists in the past that actually inspect, do extractions and even give you shots to help current acne if necessary. And most certainly will look at a mole which may turn into a much bigger issue if not addressed. I will definitely not be returning and have already made an appointment with a dermatologist in the area that actually helped in the past. I tried this place on a whim but just wasted my time.

I wanted something simple (just in case) and a trusted friend recommended this office, so I made an appointment. Dr Kleinerman was fabulous! She had a very calm demeanor yet warm infectious smile, so it really help put me at ease. She asked me throughout the procedure how I was doing and if I found it tolerable. She made it all seem so easy and simple. I was done before I knew it and was able to attend to my afternoon errands without any obvious redness or peeling and thus no embarrassment! The next couple days I had some peeling just as she had explained/forewarned. Fast forward 10 more days and I definitely noticed a difference. I would get this peel again with her. The office was clean, bright and modern, and staff was polite (what a concept!). I would definitely go back if I were back in the area

I consulted with Dr. Cameron Rokhsar after a biopsy confirmed basal cell carcinoma on my nose…read more During the consultation, I was told that reconstructive surgery following Mohs would not be covered by insurance, and I was referred to a self-pay plastic surgeon for a $400 consultation. I later requested the CPT codes, contacted my insurance company directly, and obtained a second opinion. I was told that medically necessary reconstruction following Mohs is typically covered when performed by an in-network surgeon. When I raised my concern with Dr. Rokhsar's office and asked for an explanation, I did not receive a substantive response. Instead, I received a letter terminating the physician-patient relationship. I also requested electronic access to my medical records and have not yet receive a response to that follow-up request. I have filed a complaint with the New York State Office of Professional Medical Conduct. I would encourage patients to independently verify insurance coverage, CPT codes, and reconstructive options before proceeding.

It has taken a few years to write this review. I am doing it now because, out of the blue, I was…read moreinvited by the office to join a new portal called FollowMyHealth. I was shocked. Here's why. I'll start by saying that I had one visit with Dr Vine herself, who I really liked. I went for a full body check and she was gentle and thorough. I believe this was in 2020. About a year or 2 later all of a sudden I developed a red rash on my shin. I called immediately, was seen the next day by the PA who took a scraping. Didn't hear back for 2 weeks and when they did call they said the test was inconclusive and I should come back. By this time the rash was completely gone and I had no symptoms of anything. I told them this and that I not only didn't see the reason to return, but I was upset that there was no diagnosis at all. I also asked for a refund as the visit was a complete waste of time. Turn the clock forward almost 2 years. Out of the blue I get a call from the office to follow up on the rash. I refuse to make an appointment as there was nothing wrong. This felt like harassment. There were multiple phone calls. There was no real explanation for their insistence to my coming back at that time. I should also note that during this time my husband was being treated for a cancer he eventually died from. The next thing I know I was "fired" from being their patient and, without my request, they mailed my records to me. Just for refusing to make an appointment. I never harassed them in any way. I just didn't see the need to return at that time. Perhaps I would have come back once my life was more settled, for another complete body check. The rash never returned. I was under the care of my GP who would be able to identify any issue. This was a horrific experience which does not, unfortunately, reflect directly on Dr Vine herself, but rather the way her office is run. I sent a letter to Dr Vine, telling her how upset I was. There was never a response from her. And now they want me to sign up for their portal? Geeesh!

My skin instantly became better, and I was able to wear makeup to the wedding. The rash on my neck had been bothering me for the past year, and I wish I had scheduled an appointment earlier! I went back a few weeks later for a follow-up appointment, and Dr. Pistilli prescribed me some more cream if my skin decides to flare up again. The staff are welcoming, the in-office product selection is excellent and the physicians take time to listen and give you the best treatment plan for whatever your needs are. Botox, laser, acne treatment -- Entière does it all and does it so well. My skin routine changed quite a bit pre/during/post pandemic, but Drs. Levin and Leger have kept my skin routines (e.g. products, treatments, check ups) updated and have quickly shut down any issue that has popped over the years! It can be hard to make your skin a priority, but it's a worthwhile investment that yield results you can actually see everyday. Everyone should have a great dermatologist like Dr. Levin and Leger!
