We waited 50 minutes for our food, but my husband's fries were cold and soggy and our hamburgers were barely warm. I ordered sweet potato fries that the cook forgot to make, so I got lucky and got those hot and fresh. We didn't mind waiting for our food at all, but why wait 50 minutes only for the food to come out cold? You could tell just by sight that our food had been sitting in the back for a bit. We took a few bites and asked for boxes so that we could heat our food up at home. There was no point in complaining as these days, most restaurant managers/owners couldn't care less and those that complain are stigmatized as "Karen's". The bill was almost 55 dollars for two hamburgers, two orders of fries and two soft drinks. Pretty pricey for cold food. Our server was really nice though and unfortunately I don't know her name to recognize her good service. We won't return and will not recommend to anyone. I also want to say that I don't want free food. That's exactly why I don't complain at restaurants. Like I said above, the stigmatization is real and I don't want to be labeled as that person. I just think it's sad that in this day and age, we have to just accept bad experiences or else face the consequences of being called derogatory names. If the food would have been hot though, it would have been outstanding.
