Follow the signs. Thereis parking to the side of the main house. This visit had a tour of plants . There is a pond, fire pit and picnic tables throughout the area.it is a nature preserve park with many native plants along with some for sale. I suggest wearing a hat and sunscreen. While there are paths, sturdy shoes or work boots are good too along with a bottle of water. I did sera sign for bathrooms as well. They have a compost pile on the side.if you happen to have peelings from vegetables feel free to drop them off on your visit and learn how they make black gold for the soil.

We had a group of about 15 Cub scouts there finishing the ferns and animal related topic badge. The lady who gave a lesson about how to track or discover animals around us during our daily life, but the lesson was in a small room with no AC. The boys were not interested in the discussion at all. The session was informative to the parents, but the lady seemed unable to handle younger kids. We then took a nature walk outside and the boys were very into the hike. The trail was clearly marked and easy to access by foot. Parking lot was relatively small. Overall it was an okay experience.

They said the staff were treated poorly, and some of the adults in charge behaved in ways that felt rude and discriminatory toward both staff and children. My child also mentioned that the kids were placed in rooms with no air conditioning at one point, and everyone looked overheated and stressed. For how expensive this camp is, I expected a safe and supportive environment. Instead, my child described constant pressure on the staff and very little pay for the work they were expected to do. One of the adults my child interacted with was especially unkind and made them feel uncomfortable, and this wasn't an isolated situation. It happened multiple times, and it made my child feel the atmosphere was not welcoming. What makes this even more concerning is that the camp has their Google reviews turned off. That alone says a lot about how they handle feedback. I would not send my child here again.

1 star- I DONOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL…read more I visited this hands-on early education school in Valley Stream (1158) for a job opportunity. I spoke with the owner, Ms. Drake, who invited me to spend a day with the children. What I experienced was extremely concerning. There was no proper management. Ms. Drake was absent most of the time, and the children were left in the care of overwhelmed assistant teachers. Many kids were crying, yelling, or struggling with homework--and no one was helping them. The only time Ms. Drake appeared was to harshly yell at the children, causing them to freeze in fear. Her approach was aggressive and completely inappropriate for dealing with young kids. When she introduced me to the class, the children were excited and curious. Some mispronounced my name, and instead of gently correcting them, Ms. Drake scolded them loudly, saying they had no manners and needed to be treated that way. I tried to reassure her that it was fine--they're just kids--but she insisted otherwise, in a tone that was shocking. I spent the entire day observing this toxic environment and decided not to return. Ms. Drake also said she'd give me a call next day - but never did. I am relieved I chose not to be part of that setting. P.S: Please think twice before sending your child here. The leadership lacks basic understanding of how to treat children with care and respect.
