I would NOT recommend Steve and his team for renovation purposes. We were promised a completed job in 4-5 days, but it took over 2 weeks, which is very long to be left without our one and only full bath. The job is still not complete and had to get a third party to complete it. The tiles were cut and placed unevenly, some sticking far more than others. Grout stains and drywall mud were left all over our ceilings, the tile trim was never installed, and the wall cubbies are different heights and widths. There were also large gaps in between the medicine cabinet and the walls which they never filled. The electrical work was also left incomplete. They also raised the price by $500 while doing a very unsatisfactory job. See attached photos. read more

We needed two closet doors replaced with sliding barn doors and a cat door put on a third. We used Yelp to find a Handyman and Steve was the only person that gave a flat fee upfront for all the work. To be honest, I'm a little baffled by the prior posters' low rating. We asked Steve to help us install a basketball hoop for my son (his big Christmas present). Over email, Steve was very up-front about the fact that he hadn't installed one in the past, but thought he could do it based on his prior experience. He then came out, same day, to look at the hoop's mounting instructions and confirm he could do the job well. The following week, he and another gentleman came out and got the hoop up, made sure it was secure, at the proper height, etc. His up-front quote was accurate and fair, and he and his assistant were nothing but courteous. I've used various other branded "handyman services" and one-off dudes with a hammer in the past. Nearly all of them left me with issues unresolved or in some cases, worse. I'm glad I stumbled upon Steve and will definitely be using him again in the future. read more

Steve did an incredible job regrouting our hall bath shower and laying new floor tile in the master bathroom. He was no fluff and straight to the point. He provided honest pricing and estimates. Steve showed up right on time at 8 AM and was professional, this has not been my experience in the past with most contractors. All work was finished in a timely manner and he even agreed to re-grout the hall bathroom floor tile on the spot which was very convenient for us. Steve came by for a quote a month ago to replace two closet doors. He said multiple times that he would get a quote over and didn't. After multiple follow-ups with no communication from he, he finally confirmed the date he would be coming to install them, but the day before he was expected to install he let me know that he wasn't able to after two more weeks. Steve and his team originally came in to replace the drywall in our bathroom ceiling and fill in grout after water damage and mold removal. We are new homeowners so asked about a couple other concerns/projects. He didn't bat an eye at all the extra things I asked about. He ended up also building a small wall and adding a door to enclose an attic bedroom. Then we pushed our luck further and asked him to paint a stairwell and 2 bedrooms along with the bathroom. We had an outside door to a house that was badly damaged. The door jam also. Steve was the most responsive and helpful of the 3 people i contacted. He kept in touch and had a partner assist. Talked to Steve over the phone for a quote and he was rude and unprofessional

Had a very poor experience, I had a scheduled appointment for a quote, He called me the day before to say he was in my area and could stop by in 5 mins to which I appreciated and asked him to come by. After 20 mins of him not showing up I followed up to which he said police were blocking all accesses to the street (which was a lie). He then asked to reschedule again for the morning, I confirmed with him for 8 am, showed up to the property, 10 mins past the hour I reached out, he replied that he didn't think he could do the job. Which would have been wonderful to know ahead of time when he knew the details of the project prior instead of wasting my time more than once. I would certainly never work with someone so unprofessional. Highly disappointing. read more

Steve and his team were able to complete several projects and repairs for me. I had two leaking kitchen sinks which he was able to fix shortly after contacting him. He also did a great job cleaning bathroom tile grout and re-caulking. Two water lines needed to be changed and it ended up being a much larger deal to turn the unit water on and off which the team did without complaint or charging more.
