Not so happy with the responses from Bousquet's staff. Bought a Maytag washing machine and less than 2 yrs later the control board is gone. All Bousquet staff would do is give out two different 1-800 numbers to Maytag that are TOTALLY worthless. No one answers or gets back, and the auto system that answers actually hangs up on caller. Bousquet staff couldn't care less about this problem. One salesman, Brian, actually told me he was "about to lose his temper" when I said I "may write a not so happy review if I couldn't get some help somewhere" (my exact words). He explained he didn't like getting blamed for manufacturer problems. Okay, fair enough. But when a customer is deliberately excluded from any contact at the next level they are being directed to, feels so powerless, and a review is all they have left as any leverage, they will say something like that. How unprofessional of him (Brian)! Should I be afraid? And so yes, Brian, here is my "not so happy review." I am unhappy because I purchased a $600 machine less than two years ago and now am spending close to that much to replace a part. And if you come back with a lecture about extended warranty you have missed the whole point of this story. read more

Have always bought scratch and dent. Never had a problem until I bought a new electric stove. Wasn't delivered because it had been dropped at the warehouse. Finally got it delivered and it was damaged. Called, they said will take off $200. The delivery guys who didn't understand my language actually dropped it unloading it. Nope, got my credit card bill only took off a fraction of the $200. And the best part! The set oven Temperature DROPS as it cooks! Needless to say it's not supposed to do that. Ruined my turkey! Called to get a remedy, told them I don't like this stove. Said if it was only a week old they would have taken it back. However NO ONE at the store told us that when we bought it! So the moral of this story is BUYER BEWARE! Will never buy another thing from them. read more

So we remodeled our kitchen. Bought 7500:0 of new appliances from Bousquets .First guy to hang my microwave said the templet was too large for the microwave . See instructions fold or cut here? Delivery guys scratched my 3200 fridge coming through the door. First ice maker panel didn't make ice. Second panel made ice and repair guy who couldn't hang my microwave damaged my door. 4th guy replaced ice maker panel with correct one got ice back. Placed order for new door and ice panel. Replace door and ice panels now again no ice was told this is an LG PROBLEM? Called LG because they fixed the damage but not my problem Wanted to send me a new ice makerice maker works with correct panel ! Waiting for repair man between 3/7 I've spent a week off of work waiting for this to be repaired correctly? Who can I bill for my time wasted . Hate my dish washer wish I was talked out of front buttons! Microwave is noisy oven and fridge is high end only two I like. Won't buy again from there!!! read more

From buying a washer and dryer five years ago, to today's service call, Bosquet's is top-notch in service, and communication.

We purchased a "scratch and dent" from this location a couple years ago. The warranty was expired but we figured we would still use their services. After the 1st service call we had to wait for parts. Parts came in and the tech returned to fix the fridge. Her language was offensive, she was so rough with my refrigerator she broke parts(she did replace them) but then we had new issues such as leaking water and no longer will have the ability to use the water /dispenser. She returned again to replace what she broke and once again she used the "F" word and the "C" word and had to smoke cigarettes to calm herself. I asked her to leave and have another tech come to fix it. They send another tech who said there was another issue not related to the currant issues, but we never had the "said issue" before they touched it. 5th attempt to fix the issue and now they say it's something else not even related to the fridge EVEN THOUGHT the entire fridge (other then a light) was working before the 1st tech touched the fridge. Now I have no water or ice and a broken fridge. Jeff the owner never addressed the behaviors of his tech and hasn't reached out. I am dissatisfied, disappointed and disgusted with the lack of quality service and I'm now left with a broken refrigerator... They literally keep finding new issues and have not been correct yet . read more

I scheduled a simple measurement in my kitchen for a future install with Bousquets. I took off work to be there and the technician was nearly an hour late so I called the main number. Apparently out of sheer anger that I dared to inquire about a late arrival, "Bob" the customer service rep informed me to forget it and they wouldn't be coming out now. Better communication and customer service skills needed by this sales staff! Delivery team arrived with a partial order...we were never told it would be a partial delivery when we received the confirmation call earlier that day. Salesperson promised several items that were not delivered. When we talked he said he'd put paperwork in the mail. One week later, no papers, so I called again. I was assured they were mailed. The next day, there was an envelope placed in my mailbox...no postage - hand delivered. Credibility seriously lacking.... Delivery team was excellent. Used to love Bousquet's; have been a customer for 40 years. But the newer Bousquet's totally disappointed me. Made an appointment on August 4, 2021, as my dishwasher had a broken door latch. The technician arrived, informed me that part had not arrived yet, and then proceeded to tell me he had to charge me $129 because he had come to my house. In October I called Bousquet and was told the part was either never ordered or was backordered. I visited Bousquet's in December and was told nothing had been done and they would look into it. I waited until February 2022 and had never heard again from Bousquet's. Called Jerry's Appliances in Norwich and it was fixed 8 days later. I suggest that you don't call Bousquet's. read more

After looking up appliances for several weeks and finally deciding on GE Stainless, I went to several stores in the Norwich area to talk to salespeople and check on prices. I was thrilled with the service at Bousquet's i Danielson. I purchased a range, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. Ordering was painless! They met the lowest prices online, gave us a break in delivery and setup and completed paperwork for rebates! When I found lower prices on 2 of the appliances after I paid for them, Bousquet's met that new price and refunded the difference immediately! The items arrived when promised and 3 workmen delivered and installed the appliances quickly. When I called about a scratch on the fridge door, they ordered a new one and came back to replace it, no questions asked. Could not be unhappier with the service we've received. We paid $90 upon first visit on a Monday with no work being done and were told our fix would be completed by Friday. After no communication through the week we called Friday to check when they'd be coming. The employee stated "if we had the part we would have called you." So if you're looking for communication and a business to meet deadlines this is not your place. Proceed to the following Monday when they come back to make the repair from a repairman that "didn't order the part" and "didn't diagnose it" so I guess that's our fault? The fix was clearly not done right before he even left and now we've had to call back again today (tuesday). They're not available to come out today, because they're too busy taking new jobs before finishing old ones. So I guess we will wait while our appliance is still broken having now paid $170 to fix it. If you want a timely fix and for a job to be done right, I would strongly not recommend this business. Looking for a new stove, we went through the whole routine- Sears, Home Depot, Lowes, Consumer Reports, etc. Though we got great information from the salesman at Sears in Manchester, his superior got imperious with him when he wasn't trailing us non-stop. That was enough to put a bad taste in our mouths to not go back. Instead we went to the Sears website, printed out the material on the Whirlpool Gold fridge we'd decided on, and then went to Steve Bousquets store in Danielson, asking them if they would match Sears sales price. The answer was not only yes- they had an additional $100 rebate to boot! Thank you, Jeff, for your professional demeanor and price matching policy (to real stores- not virtual). In addition, the delivery guys did a nice job of placement, taking a broken fridge out of the basement, and bringing the kitchen one that we were replacing back down to the cellar. Can you ask for anything more? It's only been a week- but so far, so good. An awesome machine. And a further update- when Sears had their stoves on sale, we did the same thing. Bousquet's matched the Sears price again. We are currently waiting for our new GE Proflie double oven to arrive from Bousquets. Wish us luck! read more

I am so lucky I found Steve Bousquet Appliance. I went through a real mess with buying a washing machine at Home Depot. The machine did not have the one feature we said we couldn't do without. The sales person either didn't know anything about appliances or didn't tell us the truth. Then, we went through three weeks of total frustration trying to resolve that problem. Finally we found Steve Bousquet Appliances. They absolutely knew what we wanted and took care of everything. Home Depot makes you buy a new set of hoses with each washing machine saying the warranty will be void if you don't do that. None of that foolishness here. And the delivery people were very professional and helpful. I have learned my lesson. You don't save anything by going to the big box stores. Drive that extra couple of miles and get treated well! read more

Fridge and freezer went. I called to have them come and look at it (on a Thursday). Said couldn't make it today but be their by 9 am tomorrow, (Friday) they showed up at 10. After looking at it and coming to the conclusion it was beyond repair. I bought a new one right then off of them only to be told we can't deliver it till Monday between 3 and 5 even though they don't close till 7 on Fridays and are open Saturdays 9 till 3 and Mondays 9 till 5:30 but the new fridge won't be here till Monday around 3. Should of just went to Lowe's and Picked it up myself but trying to save my back. read more

I had them out to fix my Samsung dryer, first visit figured out the problem, it wasn't getting hot so it was obviously the heater. 93 dollars. Second visit they ordered the wrong part, couldn't fix it. Third visit, fixed the dryer, new heater, way over charged. The part on Amazon was 52.25. They charged 129.99 for the part plus labor. So almost three weeks and almost 300 dollars later it's fixed. Not good at all. I recommend using another company read more
