It turned out wonderful in less time than they've expected with beautiful craftsmanship. I would highly recommend them. They also offered an 18 month 0% interest which was a great deal as well. They're pricing was very fair, as I compared it with a couple of other contractors. They also left my house in excellent condition. Thank you so much for a great project

Deceptive billing, silica dust disaster, and legal threats…read more This review is for: Floor Coverings International of Melbourne, FL (321) 499-2658 1270 Lake Washington Road Ste B Melbourne, FL 32935 Arthur Layman Tamara Whiteaker What started as a straightforward carpet replacement on our stairs turned into one of the worst contractor experiences I've had. Here's the full picture: Scheduling: Installers no-showed on the first scheduled date with no proactive communication. I had to call after they were already outside the arrival window to find out they weren't coming. Tile demo and dust: When installers discovered tile under the carpet, we were quoted a "worst case scenario" additional cost of $1,600 on top of the original $1,414.47. What they didn't mention was that the demo crew would leave every surface in our entire home -- upstairs, downstairs, soft furnishings, drapes, and our HVAC system -- coated in fine silica dust. No containment, no warning, no protection of any kind. This isn't just a mess, it's a serious health hazard. Even the lead demo worker acknowledged as he was leaving that he wouldn't be happy if it were his house. "Making it right": The company promised to make it right with a cleaning and a painter for the damaged walls and stairs. At no point during this process did anyone mention we would be charged for these remediation services. We have doorbell camera footage of the painter telling his worker that the flooring company was paying him -- not us. The cleaning was incomplete, with silica dust remaining on soft surfaces and in the HVAC. Surprise invoice: After carpet was finally installed, we received an invoice with a painter line item exceeding $1,000 -- no prior quote, no agreement, no breakdown. The work took under 2 hours and does not look good (bad sanding, one coat of paint - see through). We are going to get quotes to have it redone. The owner also revealed $200 of that line item was his personal fee for "coordinating" the painter. Threats: When my husband called to dispute the painter charge, the owner threatened small claims court if the full invoice wasn't paid within days, rather than engaging in any good-faith discussion. We are willing to pay what we actually agreed to despite the damage done to our home and belongings. Instead, we've been met with threats. Arthur failed to provide itemized cost breakdown as requested. Arthur failed to provide contractor license numbers as requested. Arthur subsequently sent a second threat for small claims court, followed by a threat to file a lien against our property. I mailed a letter and check for $2,329.14 (the total for what we had actually discussed), which was cashed. Arthur sent another letter threatening small claims again for the painter line item. On top of all of this, the carpet on the stairs looks like garbage. It is shedding all over even after vacuuming, the corners are popping out. We purchased the most expensive carpet option he showed us. I would give anything to go back in time and just leave the old carpet. This has not been an improvement to our home. This has been a nightmare.

I personally worked for Shawn Stanley (owner of ALL IN TRIM AND PROPERTY RENOVATION) for two years…read more I literally can not count how many jobs we got kicked out of or we simply walked away from without finishing. Shawn is ONLY interested in your deposit. He has absolutely ZERO intention of completing your job. Once he has your money he will immediately start the demo. But thats when you're hooked. Once the demo is underway your house, bathroom, kitchen is torn up and totally unusable. But it happens quickly giving the home owner the confidence Shawn is on top of things. But that's when the problems start. If Shawn shows up at all he is usually so intoxicated he can barely walk. Eventually he stops showing up and stops answearing the texts and calls. The reason is he has blown through the deposit (which he claims is for materials) at the nearest strip club or bar. The saddest part is he claims he works for/with his brother. Who is literally the BEST custom home builder in Brevard County. Shawn has absolutely NO BUILDING LICENSE to operate in Florida. He has NO insurance only a LLC. He does not even have WORKERS COMP, leaving the home owner potentially liable if someone gets hurt on the job. Shawn has had Code Enforcement shut down jobs delaying work for weeks or even months. But somehow he still takes jobs from unsuspecting people. Do YOURSELF a favor and Google Shawn Stanley !!!!!!!! I STRONGLY suggest you avoid this poor excuse of a company.......Your welcome. if you need anymore evidence of the character of Shawn Stanley, we got a job to renovate a master bath in Viera. Full demo, move plumbing, all new shower tile and floor tile, paint, add wall add a pocket door etc etc.. Shawn and I did the demo on a Friday. Saturday, Shawn went back with someone else. The home owners were having a birthday pool party for their 11 year old daughter. Shawn got so intoxicated he dropped his pants and proceeded to urinate on the pool deck in front of a pool of 11-13 year old girls and their parents!!!!!! You can only imagine how that was perceived. NOTHING I HAVE SAID IS FALSE OR EXAGGERATED

We were very pleased to have found a local to do our home renovations. The owner, Shawn,…read moreconfidently stated that he could accomplish every item on our list and asked for a deposit. I would not recommend giving him any money until the job is completed to your satisfaction. He allowed 3 men we had never met into our home (when we weren't home) to begin a job that we had discussed doing last on our list. We arrived about an hour after they did to find our living room dismantled and painting happening inside our home when he was supposed to only be doing work in our garage. Our entire home smelled like pot and the job they did was actually terrible. We had a day of no one showing and after a week of sporadic work being done, I personally spent about 15 hours painting my own home just to get them out of our house. He spoke like he was knowledgeable about things he clearly did not have any clue about and we ended up with a door ordered than we can't do anything with. We canceled the other jobs he was supposed to do and found someone else to complete them. Every single aspect of dealing with Shawn was unprofessional and a total nightmare. The only positive thing we can say about our experience with Shawn is that his employee Tim showed up every day and did his best work even when it was clear Shawn should've been the one handling all of the issues. "Would not recommend" does not quite cover our feelings about Shawn and his company. Would not wish this experience on anyone.
