After 30+ years and 4 houses with this State Farm office (..and knock on wood zero house claims), I have never actually communicated or had any direct correspondence with Steve, but the folks in the office (Marilyn Ochoa, Parry Driessen) have always been professional and timely in their responses. The State Farm website can certainly use improvement - it's behind in technology by many years - but I wouldn't hesitate to use this office for general insurance needs. read more

They are located in Long Beach and I live in Apple Valley There are several State farm insurance agencies in Apple Valley that are local for me however' I choose to stay with Steve Dwight Because they are a top-notch team of professionals that are down to earth with their clients. So I've been with them for 8 years now, they keep upping my renewal mind you I pay 6months in advance in full everytime. Let's start there. I never miss a payment. First off they quoted the renewal with wrong mileage, "estimated from third party" mind you they could have easily called me an asked. which then I corrected the mileage from their est. 9,500 miles a year to the actual amount of 7,500 miles a year she then said it went from 1,250$ to 1,100$ i said I'd like to get it to 900$ she said okay we can take off uninsured motorists I said alright and it dropped it to 950$ which I was fine. I go to call today to pay my renewal an MARILYN says it's 1,120$ I said how make it make sense. She explained I went to tell my side and she didn't want to listen I said I am the customer right so let me tell you why it does not make sense she didn't want to listen kept talking... mind you IM THE CUSTOMER, all Marilyn had to do was listen to my concern which she did not want to I asked for her last name she said word for word, "I don't have to give you my last name." You do work for the public so yes you do plus you know my full name car license plate etc. you couldn't give me your last name because you know you were in the wrong. Regardless now I have to wait for Fabiola to call me. All I know Steve Dwight I've been a loyal customer and I expect better communication with your receptionist and I expect them to hear me out regardless how many times. WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER. read more
