This place has been in business for over 100 years (in Long Beach) I recently bought a car and needed insurance, I did the esurance quote online and just as I was expecting Mercury Insurance came up as the cheapest. I got a call from Mary and we went from there...She emailed me the quotes a few different ways so I can see which option would work best for me. Mary was so sweet and helpful, I wasn't able to make it to the office during normal business hours and she was gracious enough to come in on a Saturday morning to write up my insurance. That is awesome customer service!!! When we got to her office, she again explained everything she put in front of me and answered all of our questions, she tried to get us every discount she possibly could. I try to do everything possible to purchase from locally owned business enterprises, but when it came to our Business Insurance I never knew that a local Insurance Broker has access to larger insurance carriers. It is hard to know why, but we learned that starting the bidding process at least 3 months in advance allows new brokers to obtain lower prices from the insurance carriers. Tamar Walta is THE BEST! She has been my insurance agent for my car, home (regular homeowners insurance, flood insurance and earthquake insurance). Purchasing all these different kinds of insurance gave rise to quite a few questions and every time Tamar either instantly had the answer or got back to me within a day. She goes over and above in helping me. Recently my bank (credit union) merged with another credit union and I needed to get a copy of my car insurance to the new credit union since they were the new lien owner of my car. She contacted my car insurance company and I got the updated policy in less than a week. This tells me right off the bat that the people at this company have integrity. I appreciated that when I called the staff was very accessible and any questions I had were answered promptly. It must be a smaller company because they had very good communication and were very knowledgeable. They even offered me lower rates than AAA! They have made a great impression on me and who doesn't like to save money?! I'm still looking around the market but as of now this place is at the top of my list. The point is when you go with an insurance company you want to feel comfortable and confident that they will get the job done and be there for you in your time of need. Kelly Williams is my insurance agent for my multiple policies from 2007. I am writing this review in 2019 after 12 years of my first insurance with them. In the past 12 years, I have researched several times for better rate or coverage with other agents. No one was close to Kelly Williams. In the past 12 years I have visited this office only 2 times. Everything was on Phone and Emails, saved my time significantly. Everyone at this office must be awesome, but I have been only in contact with Tamar Walta. She is so nice that I can ask 100 questions in one call. I am not an easy person when money is involved. I asked her to calculate my insurance at least in 5 different configurations almost in every yearly re-calibration. Tamar amazed me with her work. I should be lucky to get this person as my agent. They never forced me to accept something. (5) I was not that happy during an accident claim 10 years ago. (6) I do not get reminders when my premium is overdue but I do get greetings on my birthday!.
