    Crappy people. Crappy place.

I had my vehicle towed to Steve Ellis to have them determine why my vehicle wasn't running. Within the same week the called and informed that they fixed it and this was the cost. The same week my brother took his life. I had to go to another state to handle things there. Informed Andy the guy who called me about the situation. After two weeks it took to get my brothers things handled. I came back to town and had a heart attack. After being released I went to pick up my vehicle. They took the parts off and had it towed. I went to pick it up to find all this out. They stated they called several times. They did in the beginning but nothing since. Just towed my vehicle. I had used them for many years. Spent over $15,000 dollars with them through the years and they treat a disabled veteran who just lost a brother and had a heart attack this way. Who knows what they will do with your vehicle or where it will end up if an emergency happens.

I called the shop and Andy hooked me up with a towing company and told me he would take care of it from there.

At a Mini mechanic claiming the same issue!RIP OFF! Went to my local mechanic and he said they were not being honest! since the owner wants to attack me, I was at this shop once before and it was a positive interaction however they said they cleared all my check, engine, lights and warning lights! Once I drove around for a few days, those lights all came back on and I purchased a scanner to figure out what was going on. Turns out that they could've easily figured out that all I needed was a Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid . So after two visits to the shop, not only did they not diagnose it, but it causes me to fail my inspection so then I had to purchase a reader and then fixed it myself! and they said that my warning lights for my headlights and my tail lights were short! So I bought headlights myself and put them in and the tail light was an easy fix, but they couldn't figure this out either! This shop is a farce. Don't trust them whatsoever the owners arguing with me over their failure to actually do a good job for their customers! This car runs great and I take care of it and have every maintenance done that I can as it's driven all across the country for over 107,000 miles so for you to question my upkeep of it is offensive!!!

They are half the price of the dealership & I feel like I'm getting honest upfront clear information about my car. I do not feel like I'm being duped. This is my go to from now on with all the Subaru cars in our family. They did not charge me for the leak. It was a complimentary service since I recently had my major service there.
