The realtor, Ming Trang or so I called Uncle Ming is a wonderful agent. Unlike many others who keep pushing their clients to purchase the house as quickly as possible and pay an expensive price (since they get 5%), Uncle Ming not only told us to wait to the right time. He said that 2nd and 3rd quarter have the most homes for sale so wait until that time. Once we got a house that we liked after 6.5K off for a minor roof fixing and on pending, one Monday, it rained so hard and he recommended us to check for damages in case we wanted to change our mind. Since all my family was busy at work, school, etc, Uncle Ming went to the house and checked for leaks himself for 2 hours. My parents always appreciate his effort. Although the main goal of a company in an economist's view is to maximize the profits, these agents have a conscience that defeats the maximization of profits. Working with Uncle Ming was a great experience. At 8AM during weekends or as late as 8PM at night, even if his place is closed, Uncle Ming still showed us the house if we wanted to. He was also punctual and patient if we made it late to the appointment. His dedication for work and good conscience are the factors that make me recommend any of you to try this Realty. We live not to use others. Steve and his staff are all genuinely committed to providing the highest level of customer service possible. They have always been available to answer my questions AT MY CONVENIENCE. This, to me, is a huge deal as I have done nothing but shift work for the last 17 years. This may not SEEM like that big a deal to most, but shift work means that my questions happen to pop into my head at inconvenient hours late at night or super early in the morning outside of what most people (okay, nearly everyone) would consider "normal" business hours. I recently sold a home through Steve's agency, Stunning Homes Realty. I chose a young agent because I thought it would be nice to give him a chance. I am a registered broker in the State of Illinois. This young agent, Dan Huerta, agreed that he and his broker would honor a referral fee, that "this is what they always do". I didn't get it in writing. When all was said and done, the agent told me, "Our broker was upset with the great deal we cut you at 5%...not only was it not the deal, I believe it is disrespectful of you to ask for an extra fee." I should have got it in writing. But what good is someone if they are not good for their word??? Anyone who is in the business knows that if a broker is not going to honor a referral fee, then we do not work with them. I have tried to call Steve and he has not returned any of my calls. I would not trust them to work with again. Really a huge disappointment. I've done this at least ten times before and all agents have been good for their word. read more
