He discussed with me not to take the roots out of the wisdom tooth, just to cut the top portion of the tooth off so there would be no nerve damage. I had also told him I wanted a dental implant where another tooth was being pulled. When I woke from surgery he told me everything was all set and if I had any problems to call the office. A few days later, I was in a lot of pain and figured it was a dry socket, not to mention there were bony pieces sticking out everywhere! Dr Duhaime had gone out of town and I had to see his stand in. They packed my dry sockets and told me to go back to Dr. Duhaime. When I went back to see Dr.Duhaime he also repacked my dry sockets but said it would get better. I had to go back to him daily for over a few weeks to check my dry sockets and he also removed more of the bony pieces that were coming out. I was still in a lot of pain after 6 weeks and went to my general dentist. He took x rays and found Dr. Duhaime had left me with 2 sets of roots in 2 different areas, including where I wanted my implant! The wisdom tooth roots he left were exposed and causing me unbelievable pain. There was also damage done to the root of the tooth in front of the extraction sight. Again, his response was it needs time to heal. 4 months later, I'm in Michigan and thankfully found an oral surgeon that was able to go back in and fix the mess Dr. Duhaime left. He told me leaving the roots behind usually isn't recommended because they have a high failure rate. Thanks Dr Duhaime for costing me twice as much money to have my teeth fixed because you were having a bad day or just stopped caring?

Her condition went undiagnosed by multiple doctors over this two-week period. If we had not taken her out of rehab to see Dr. Duhaime her condition may have become life threatening because of her frail condition. Within minutes of seeing my mother he made arrangements for an ambulance and oral surgery at RI hospital. The surgery was a success. I cannot thank him enough

When I asked why, they said it was because they needed to use an antibiotic not covered by my insurance (???). I then asked for my x-rays that they took to be sent to a different dentist for a second opinion and they sent it to a .com email instead of a .org email, even though in my release it was clearly the correct .org email. They said that the department that handles records is separate from the office that took the x rays and it would take at least 3 business days to get it resent. This was the day of my appointment at the second location. They also told me there was no way to contact the department that sends out the x rays and that they also couldn't call the department. I called the main customer line and eventually they were able to send it directly to my personal email, though that was still going to take 1-3 business days. I eventually got my records and the dentist I saw only charged me $1000 with insurance. I essentially spent a month trying to get basic dental care due to their incompetence. I called and left a complaint, but they're seem unreceptive and since it's such a large chain, I doubt anyone will ever hear my complaint. So, long story short, do not trust their estimates
