I am glad that I have found him for my extensive oral surgery needs. The office personnel and staff are awesome and really helpful in settling my anxiety. They are friendly and supportive and professional. This was my 1st visit for a consultation and treatment plan. I had an appointment in a day to take a look, ex-ray and so on. I was given an appointment for the next day for a not so easy extraction. The extraction was easy for Dr. Elson though! Dr. Elson is the man if you need a somewhat difficult to extraction, a tooth removed. The staff from the receptionist on is exceptional. A great team from the Doc on down!

I feel as though saving this tooth was a lot of work. Both the doctor and assistant were simply amazing. I honestly wish I had come to this office sooner. They felt an oral surgeon would be the best benefit for her and Dr Brown was consulted and was in-house that day. My mother is on Chemo and one of the side effects is possible bone involvement around the jaw and Dr Brown as well as all of us was acutely aware of this and admitted my mother and scheduled her for surgery the next morning. Everything went well, and my mother is recovering well and back to her normal self. Dr Brown personality is incredible. He's exactly the type of surgeon you'd want treating your mother. Nice, talkative, knowledgeable and cares for not only his craft but his patients. I wouldn't hesitate considering University Oral and Max again or Dr Brown. You're in great hands here!

IN 2013 or 2015 Dr. Pirie gave me a dental implant. Again he did an excellent job. He used my own stem cells for the implant. He went to Italy to learn the operation for dental implants using the patient's own stem cells. Using the patient's own stem cells greatly reduces the risk of infection. In 2013 to 2015, as far as I know most dentists in Rhode Island were using cow stem cells for dental implants. I need a few dental implants now. Again I choose DR. PIRIE for the operation. He explains everything so I knew what to expect. I had no pain during the procedure. His office scheduled follow-ups and they had easy scheduling. Dr. Matt was really nice, professional and got right to business. Plenty of parking, really nice location right outside Wickford village, cute building. If you need dental care, you're by definition unhappy with your dentist. Nevertheless, some dentists do a better job of earning your trust than others (after all, few of us are qualified to evaluate an x-ray properly). I trusted this dentist for several years, but after a series of increasingly frustrating dental-care spirals, I decided to leave. The worst kind of dental visit is the one where you're going to the dentist so the dentist can fix his own mistakes. What's worse, my patience with the office staff finally wore out. Their no-nonsense approach might be efficient, but inflexibility does not always make for happy customers.
