I was very excited to get my reduction here. I asked for a B cup coming from a DD. I was told I was going to get something that would "work well with my figure". Of course, this was told to me on the day of surgery while I was on the verge of passing out with a drip in my arm. I don't know if it was because I was young or what but I ended up leaving with a D cup and uneven nipples. I have tried to contact the office multiple times and never got any response. I would recommend going to a female dr who will actually listen to your concerns. read more

When I entered this exclusive location, I was pleased to meet Dr. Geldner and his staff. Dr. Geldner's consultation was easy to understand. He utilized modern technology to depict the surgical methods that he would be using. The illustrations of my body gave me a clear depiction of what was needed for my satisfaction. Dr. Geldner had lots of work to do. He was professional and gave clear examples. I understood everything he needed to do easily. Believe me when I tell you, I am so glad that I went to Dr. Geldner's office. He also has a beautiful operating facility with highly trained professionals. As someone who has never any kind of surgery before my level of disappointment is beyond words. I went into Dr. Gelder off of a referral because I had saved money for years and years for this surgery. As some women may know one breast can develop larger then the other, in my case one breast was significantly larger than the other so I had a consultation. Per Dr. Geldner the plan was to add a full implant where I had nothing and a small implant with a breast lift on the larger breast to even things out. Naturally during the swelling phase both breast were even and great, a year later the natural breast started to sag significantly. I'm now back 2 years later paying for another lift with mesh to ensure this doesn't happen again and out another $3,500 to top off the $10,000 that I previously paid and I'm back in the same position. I worked very hard to pay for my breast implants and now having to look into a third to correct everything. read more

I entrusted Dr. Geldner to do my facelift, lower eyelids, and tummy tuck. The results left much to be desired. The left lower eyelid pulled down too much and made my eyes look asymetrical. I had to wait three months for repair surgery. During the eye repair surgery, Dr. Geldner also performed a tummy tuck procedure. Not only did the eye remain exactly the same, asymetrical, there continued to be loose skin around my belly button, which he told me to massage. When I went to get a second opinion, I decided that I needed to see another doctor to repair Dr. Geldner's work, which he did. My stomach is now completely smooth, and my eye looks better than ever. The new surgeon pointed out that Dr. Geldner left "quite a mess," on my stomach, including a pocket of fluid that he had to drain and clean up. I asked Dr. Geldner to pay me back some of the money I paid him since I had to pay for correctional surgery, but he condescendingly refused. I don't recommend this doctor for plastic procedures to anyone. read more

After 13 years of being a patient, had a very serious situation occur in the office with a treatment by a staff nurse. The doctor was very aware of what happened, and other than making me wait all day to see me to administer further remedies, did nothing to make right. Another doctor suggested that only doctors administer these types of treatments. I would recommend the same for anyone seeking Botox and filler treatments. A patient with adverse reactions can end up with facial paralysis and worse when not done correctly. read more

Ah, laser hair removal. With the sting of your zap and the tedious repeated visits, who can really truly say anything good about the experience? Deanna has been great in booking my appointments. There is hardly ever any of that waiting around/long delay business. I bought a gift certificate ( The Geldner Center )from a charity auction and I called to book an appointment... It's very very hard to get one. It's been 2 months and it's really very hard. The person I spoke with was very rude. Not only that he put my name wrong ( same last name ), but the way he conduct business on phone is very unprofessional. He has no phone etiquette and don't even know how to sincerely apologize to his mistake. By that way, the last girl a spoke with has the same attitude. I haven't been in this place yet.. But I've already had a terrible Customer Service Experience. I would give Dr. Peter Geldner zero stars if I could. He is arrogant, condescending, dismissive and down right mean! All traits you do NOT want in a plastic surgeon. I went to him for a breast implant replacement because they were 20 yrs old and ruptured. I chose him because he was the lowest bidder. Big mistake! He was over 2 hours late for my surgery and arrived agitated and sweaty. The left breast did not turn out well. It developed a capsular contracture within 1 1/2 weeks of surgery. He also failed to remove the sutures from my left breast. After many months of pain and the breast looking bad I asked him if he would fix it. He became enraged saying that it was fine and that a revision surgery would be a "sham". I have to wear a bra at all times to be half-way comfortable. He said "So, you have to wear a bra 24/7. So what". Truth be known, he refuses to fix it because he wouldn't get paid. I just had a consultation with another plastic surgeon who confirmed that I indeed have a capsular contracture. She called the implant manufacturer and secured a $2,000 refund because I developed the capsular contracture so soon. Her office also reached out to my insurance. Something Dr. Geldner's office did not bother doing. Needless to say, I have to pay another surgeon to fix my breast. Honestly, I am not happy about this but wouldn't let him touch me even if it were free. Also, I received a complimentary Botox treatment from the implant manufacturer and Dr. Geldner performed it. He caused a bruise the size of a dime on my right eye. I have never had this happen. He is all hype and no talent. Do yourself a favor and chose another plastic surgeon. Dr. Geldner is a monster! This place is a nightmare. I had a Bbl treatment in May and it is now November and I still have big white patches that have not disappeared with the serum they recommended or with further recommendations from another dermatologist. I would not let anyone touch your skin here. Additionally, Dr is very condescending and woman coordinator aggressive and unpleasant. I came to look better, not worse. I quite enjoyed my time at the Geldner Center. The staff is friendly, discrete and courteous. They offer free consultations for many of the services they provide, which is important. I wanted more information on Kybella and CoolSculpt, and I made an appt at the Derma center at Illinois Masonic and luckily, I found out at the last minute they were going to CHARGE me for the consult (for a nurses visit). Ridiculous; what a scam. Then I booked a consult at Geldner at no cost. They also offer discounted parking, but you can get free parking if you spend $10 at Treasure Island, which is also in the building. Geldner Center does not play, and treats you with the same respect whether or not you book the service. read more

This review is for the Hinsdale location. The office is conveniently located off 294. The office is nicely decorated, clean, and inviting. The receptionist was pleasant. Mandy, the patient coordinator is a peach. Super pleasant and made me feel confortable. Dr Geldner is knowledgeable, funny, and professional. Dr Geldner explained me the different options and listened to my concerns with my best interest in mind. I also had an appointment with Randi the licensed aesthetician. Oh my, Randi is wonderful. I was unsure as to what procedure was best for me. I was kind of scared too :( Randi explained the best options for me and was transparent as to the implications that come with recovery. She showed me pictures of what I should expect after the procedures which helped me make an informed decision. I had a minor aesthetic procedure and I could not be happier with the results. Sara Koop is amazing for injectables. Every time I see her, I absolutely LOVE my face. As a previous customer, I followed her over to the Geldner Center (which is a top notch office; the entire staff was great). I cannot recommend The Geldner Center enough. The staff is professional, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help. I go to Randi and Lynn and I would not change them for the world. Randi is FABULOUS! She takes care of all my laser hair removal needs and all my facials. Randi always delineates all my options and has always made me feel at ease with whatever facial she is recommending. Her demeanor is so laid back that during each procedure we talk about anything and everything. More importantly, the results that I have witnessed on my face are magnificent. As for Lynn, she does my BOTOX and my lip injections and she is an artist. The first time I got lip injections at another office and with the actual plastic surgeon I bruised for two weeks. With Lynn (this is actually my third time going to her) my lip injections look better and I have not bruised at all in any of the times I have gone to her. With BOTOX she is adamant about giving a natural look to your face and for someone like me who tends to be a Nervous Nelly when it comes to injectables she also has the ability to put me at ease. She is friendly, professional and charismatic at all times. Last but not least I would say that The Geldner Center offers great prices. I have gone to other places and the prices tend to be more expensive and less flexible. You have options at The Geldner Center that can save you money. Just ask! She is extremely knowledgeable and honest with what I need done that is tailored to my skin type and the problems I have with it. Everyone is so nice & welcoming here. My review is for Sara and her ability to walk me through my first ever botox and juvederm (lips) treatment. Sara took the time to explain everything she was doing and was patient answering all of my questions. The end results were amazing - very natural and not overdone at all. Every time I see her I'm completely in awe of what an amazing job she does. I get so many compliments about how rested & awake I look, but so far no one has been able to pinpoint why (mission accomplished!!). The only downfall is I live in NYC, so I only get to see Sara 2/3 times a year. She did recommend an amazing practitioner in NYC for me, but my preference will always be her - I literally plan trips to Chicago around my treatments. She's that good! read more

CAUTION, do NOT get your lips injected with any type of dermal filler here. You will not just waste your money, but you'll look like an idiot. I had to go back 5 times to TRY and have them fix the botched job they did and my lips still were not even. I'll post some fun photos of my experience. I can't comment on the results yet because it's early. However I was very pleasantly surprised when Beata, my aesthetician, told me I didn't necessarily need to buy more than 3 sessions and that just 3 might be enough. Treatment is thorough, she seems to know what she's doing. No burns or irritation or scarring or anything. And I have sensitive skin. They also sell very good skincare brands and close late to accommodate people who work. read more

I highly recommend that any looking to get Botox injections from Dr. Geldner, to RUN NOT WALK AS FAR AWAY FROM HIM AS YOU CAN! I've had Botox from another doctor for the past 5 years with stellar results and I never had one complaint or issue about his work. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the results of injections Dr. Geldner did to my face. The photo of me listed here was taken PRIOR to seeing Dr. Geldner. Unfortunately, as a result of his handiwork with giving me Botox, I'm no longer able to smile. In fact, when I try to smile I look like a monster as my mouth is turned downward, my lips are no longer symmetrical and I'm unable to show my pearly whites. I am new to the area so I went on the web to find doctor's that provided Botox injections. I found The Geldner Center website. I wish to God that I never stumbled upon their website. If I hadn't scheduled an appointment with him I'd still be able to physically smile. I'm in sales and a smile goes a long way when talking to potential customers and giving presentations to groups of decision makers. Not to mention, I'm an outgoing person that use to have a smile beaming from my face until I received Botox from Dr, Geldner. I immediately contacted Dr. Geldner to ask him what could be done to reverse this nightmare he caused. He said that there was nothing he could do and that only time would be able to make this better when the Botox wears off. Only then will I be able to smile again. I was in tears when he told me this and his response was "tell people you had dental work done specifically a root canal". I was even more furious at his comment of what I should say the cause was for my face looking the way it was". To make things worse, if you can imagine, I left the Office Manager (think it's Geldner's wife) that I want a full refund for this botched up mess that only Dr. Geldner causes and was told that I will NOT be getting one penny back and that they didn't take too lightly to threats and they would take action against me! What nerve!!! What threat??? Imagine that...he damaged my face, my smile, confidence and she had the nerve to tell me I wouldn't get one penny back? I bought Groupons for six laser hair removal (LHR) treatments at three different locations, including the Geldner Center. I was looking for cheap treatments and was not committed to any of the three businesses. Now there's nowhere else I will go and that is because of Deanna Stellato. I started seeing Deanna and was so impressed by her professionalism, knowledge, and honesty that I chose to have the other LHR treatments I wanted done here. She not only knows her stuff but is warm and always puts you at ease, which is nice if you're having, um, delicate areas worked on. But don't let her sweet smile and pleasant demeanor fool you - when she puts on the wraparound sunglasses and grabs her laser gun, she's like the Dirty Harry of LHR, if you'll forgive the pun. And in a few, short minutes, you're this much closer to a less fuzzier you. read more

It can be difficult to imagine that you could improve yourself with the use of scalpel. It can be even more difficult to walk into a plastic surgeons office that can help you explore areas that you could improve about yourself. ::Drum Roll:: But at Dr. Geldner's office, you will find a very different plastic surgeon. I met with Dr. Geldner for an initial consultation. I can only think of 3 words to best describe him: Ethical.Honest.Kind. After speaking with Dr. Geldner, he told me that there was nothing esthetically displeasing about my face. Nothing that needed correction, significant improvement, etc. This isn't what I expected to hear. I thought that I would hear "sure we can do that...and make it look like this, and sure, I will do that too." Dr. Geldner takes his approach to plastic surgery with humility and honesty. So, in truth, what I thought I wanted to change, needed to change, hoped to change....was clearly just my vanity. Not seeing what I already had was exactly what I already needed. Maybe for some women, this is a "duh" or "obvious" afterthought. For me, I was caught up in ways to improve myself to something "ideal." A huge thanks to Dr. Geldner in helping point out that all I need was a little more self-esteem. Of course Dr. Geldner could have performed the procedures, decided not to have a heart-to-heart...but when I looked in the mirror, there wasn't anything that was wrong with me in the slightest. I just wanted better...and really...I'm not sure if better...is always, better. I highly recommend Dr, Geldner if you want an honest and thorough opinion about plastic surgery. If you want a Dr. that isn't simply interested in taking your money or preying on your vanity. Dr. Geldner asks the important questions. The only side note is be prepared to wait.
