Seeing Steven Struck for plastic surgery was absolutely the best choice I could've made!! Just wow. Whatever you want done, I seriously suggest going here for it. It is by far the most inexpensive surgery in the area, and Steven as well as the rest of his staff are incredibly welcoming, understanding, kind, and considerate! Not to mention, HIGHLY professional. So many years of experience. I went here to get a rhinoplasty(nose job), and the results are EXACTLY what I wanted/ asked for. This is incredibly impressive, as rhinoplasties are one of the most complicated plastic surgeries to get down(it is often hard to get so close to what the patient wants). But Steven did EXACTLY what I wanted and more, like I seriously couldn't be more happy. The recovery was also really smooth! The supplements/medications that they provided for healing and pain worked wonderfully, I was super comfortable. I really like Dr. Struck. He is always very kind and does great work. Unfortunately, my low rating is because of my experience with the receptionist. I had an appointment scheduled, I called that morning to ask if it was possible to move the time up. The lady on the phone said yes and moved my appointment to 45 minutes earlier. I arrived on time, checked in, and was told to have a seat. After waiting 45 minutes, I went back to the desk to ask when I might be seen. The brunette receptionist rudely said, "It's gonna be a while." When I asked, "Longer than the 45 minutes I've already waited?" she coldly replied, "Yup." She never apologized or explained the delay, and I don't understand why they agreed to move my appointment earlier if they were already overbooked. I wasted a lot of time on a busy day. It's unfortunate because Dr. Struck is wonderful, but some of his staff made the experience very disappointing. read more

I chose Dr. Struck after my cousin highly recommended him and told me he was a great surgeon. As an African American woman with melanin-rich skin, I made it very clear during my consultation that keloids run in my family and that I was concerned about scarring after surgery. Dr. Struck assured me that it would not be a problem and that I would heal well. Trusting his expertise, I moved forward with a tummy tuck and breast augmentation. Looking back, I feel like it was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. After surgery, I had to return to multiple office locations because stitches were left in both my breasts and my stomach for months. My surgery was in early January, and I was told the stitches would dissolve. Instead, some had to be removed, and others continued working their way out over the next 3 to 6 months. This left my incisions inflamed, irritated, and delayed my healing. I don't know whether someone in training was involved in my care, but the experience was very frustrating. I paid approximately $17,000 in cash for my procedures. Today, I have keloid scars around my nipples, across my stomach, and around my waist. I am embarrassed to wear crop tops or anything that shows my stomach because of how noticeable the scars are. I reached out to Dr. Struck several times to express how devastated I felt and how much my confidence had been affected. It often felt like my concerns were dismissed. Within the first year after surgery, one of my breast implants became hard. Initially, I was told there was nothing that could be done and that it would likely stay that way. Eventually, he did perform another surgery, and thankfully my breast is now soft again, which I truly appreciate. However, the keloid scarring remains. Because I specifically informed Dr. Struck before surgery that I was at high risk for keloids, I expected that concern to be taken seriously and factored into my treatment. I wish more precautions had been taken, or that I had been told if I was not a good candidate for the procedure. I am sharing my experience so that others--especially patients with melanin-rich skin who are prone to keloid scarring--will ask detailed questions and fully understand the risks before moving forward. Me & my wife went to see him over 6 weeks ago & doing a filler my wife had a huge black eye due to his negligence & lack of not knowing how to due this work on her . We called him several times & was told is normal! after waiting a few weeks the black eye not only went away but got worse . After calling him many times over he said wait for a month it will go away ! WTF I have never heard a so called doctor to do this to a patient and charge over $ 685.00 & tell them is normal & than say give it time & it will go away . BE AWARE !!! we are end of 6 weeks after he did this & still the black eye is not fully gone ! We contacted the clinic & ask to talk to the doctor & the receptionist said that the doctor said you need to come in for a 10 session Lazer procedure at $300 each visit .if. WOW !! ARE YOU SERIOUS? This guy should have his license pulled & close his practice so he can not due this to another poor patient I will be contacting my attorney as well as the medical board to make sure this doesn't happen to another person I put pictures to proof of his unprofessional not experienced procedure his done ! I came in to see Karen for a touch up on my lips. I must say, Karen is phenomenal! She fit me in last minute for starters. So sweet. I walk in and was greeted with a huge smile and such positivity. Dr. Struck is a rare GEM! In 2014, he did my mommy maker and I was totally pleased with his work. I did a lot of research and reading on surgeons in the Bay Area before deciding to go with Dr. Struck and I am so glad I did. He is brilliant! Stanford educated and board certified, which is why he typically knows the answer even before you finish asking the question. Because he is so experienced there is not a question I had that he didn't know. My tummy scar is very low and not even noticeable. Even my family doctor asked me when I went for a check-up who my surgeon was because she commented that my belly button looks really good. She said you can kind of tell how good a surgeon is by how the belly button looks. This made me feel really proud that I made the right choice, especially coming from another doctor. Since my original surgery I've kept in touch with Dr. Struck, showing him my progress and seeking his opinion for other minor things. He's always been fairly honest. Recently I wanted to get my implants removed because I was having some back issues, I loss a bit of weight, and my life had become more active, Dr. struck recommended that I not have them removed completely but instead to get them replaced with smaller ones. It was becoming aesthetically going from such a large implant to nothing would look like deflated balloons. It was not about the $$$ for him, he just knows how I am by communications we've had over the years. I was so set on removal up until he thoroughly discussed with me at our pre-op consult. He said I had up until a few days before surgery to decide and he would do whatever I wanted. A few days before I decided to trust Dr. Struck and go for the smaller replacements. I even trusted him to chose my implant size and I'm so glad I did because sitting here now I know I would have come back had I removed them completely. I feel much better and the pain is so minimal. I was up and around within a few hours. There's no wrinkling and they feel and look great so far. A lot of my friends have gone to different surgeons, some were great and some where bad but none have the relationship and trust that is not money driven like I do with Dr. Struck! His team is very lovely and did everything they could to make sure I was taken care of.
