Dr. Boehm and her team worked swiftly to remove the tooth and ensure I had a flapper so I didn't have to go without while waiting for an implant (and that flapper looked good -- you couldn't even tell). She also referred me to a wonderful surgeon for the implant and had you not know I had lost that tooth, you wouldn't be able to tell. I truly credit this to Dr. Boehm and her network. I could not recommend them more!!

I have not been able to see a dentist in 2 years at this point. also, i'm pretty sure they drilled one of my teeth for a cavity that wasn't actually there, and they botched the job and left the innner surface of one of my front teeth with a weird texture. During a recent routine cleaning, my regular dentist noticed a potential issue with the implant and recommended that I start by returning to the original provider--so I did. From the start, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. I was initially told they never received my X-rays, so I personally brought them in. Once I did, the story changed: I was told the X-rays were "too grainy" to use and that they would need to take their own. When I asked how much that would cost, they said they didn't know and refused to look it up for me. I had two separate appointments, and at no point did anyone actually examine the problem or ask questions about my pain or symptoms. The focus was entirely on finances, and the tone made it very clear that they were not interested in helping me. The staff was rude, dismissive, and not honest about the situation. I am still dealing with tooth pain and genuinely hope to find a provider who will help me--but it will not be Advance Dentistry.

Avoid Trailside Dental Care…read more After treatment at this office, I was left in severe pain and repeatedly asked to be evaluated by a dentist but was unable to speak with one. Instead, I was given guidance by staff while dealing with significant pain. I ultimately had to seek emergency care elsewhere, where the problem was properly resolved. In addition, I was told I needed 6-8 fillings and a crown. When I sought a second opinion, I was told that none of that work was necessary and that only one small area needed to be monitored. The difference between those two evaluations was alarming. Recommending large amounts of unnecessary dental work goes beyond poor judgment -- it's unethical. What makes this even more concerning is that the dentist at this office has been suspended by the Ohio State Dental Board and is currently practicing under probation for documented violations involving patient care. This is public information anyone can verify on the Ohio State Dental Board website. Please research carefully before choosing this office. Patients deserve to know this information when choosing a healthcare provider. This review is based on my personal experience and publicly available disciplinary records from the Ohio State Dental Board.
