Avoid Trailside Dental Care…read more After treatment at this office, I was left in severe pain and repeatedly asked to be evaluated by a dentist but was unable to speak with one. Instead, I was given guidance by staff while dealing with significant pain. I ultimately had to seek emergency care elsewhere, where the problem was properly resolved. In addition, I was told I needed 6-8 fillings and a crown. When I sought a second opinion, I was told that none of that work was necessary and that only one small area needed to be monitored. The difference between those two evaluations was alarming. Recommending large amounts of unnecessary dental work goes beyond poor judgment -- it's unethical. What makes this even more concerning is that the dentist at this office has been suspended by the Ohio State Dental Board and is currently practicing under probation for documented violations involving patient care. This is public information anyone can verify on the Ohio State Dental Board website. Please research carefully before choosing this office. Patients deserve to know this information when choosing a healthcare provider. This review is based on my personal experience and publicly available disciplinary records from the Ohio State Dental Board.

To this day, many years later, I still have no cavities. I feel this place is just about grabbing as much money for you as possible and seems to want to do unnecessary dental work. While she and I had no issues with the actual care she received, we had an AWFUL time with trying to get a refund for services she did not need, but were required to be paid up front. They Illegally billed her insurance for the services she did not get, in addition to billing her for "time in the chair", for which she was NOT EVEN IN THEIR OFFICE! I took the legal approach to advocate for her and contacted the Ohio Attorney General's Office, the American Dental Association and a local attorney. After a crash course by some very kind people at each of these entities, I learned that there is no such billing code for "time in the chair" and charges could be brought against them for illegal billing to her insurance company. When I approached the office, I was given a runaround for months, but finally spoke with a district admin who would not give me answers but "allowed" the refund. I made the comment that they were not allowing anything, but owed it to my friend. My strong recommendation is to STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!

"Proper standard of care" is not subject to geography or personal preference. I was a little nervous finding a new dentist since moving to the area two years ago and I am so thankful I ended up here. From the first phone call with the receptionist, to seeing the hygienist and the doctor, to the final checkout the whole experience was AMAZING. They made me feel like the most important patient being seen that day and this was only my first visit! First visit 6 months ago for a cleaning but no cleaning took place. I was told while I was in the chair that the first visit was just a comprehensive exam... Which 1 - they didn't say that on the phone when I specifically made an appt for a cleaning and if true, why did my wife two weeks prior on her first visit get a cleaning on her first visit ...math ain't mathing... So when I did get a cleaning , the dentist was asking about my x rays not matching, they had the wrong X-rays attached to my file so they said they wood take new ones, I said I already had X-rays in 2025 and the dentist said no problem, they wouldn't bill me if insurance didn't pay... 3 weeks later I get a bill for the X-rays... called Karen and was told they would waive the fee, this time ...very rude! At that cleaning I made my 6 month appt which was today, 11:10, ... show up..no appt... the front desk went and got Karen She came out hot, told me I didn't have an appt scheduled and after a 30 sec discussion, she said I haven't been happy since I walked in the door 6 months ago ago, I didn't have an appt scheduled and let her know where I wanted my x rays sent that I was no longer a patient...after I responded to that, she threatened to call 911 if I didn't leave!
