The newly expanded office and team are just as great as before. I love entering the whimsical forest and seeing the woodland creatures. We try to go early so that the kids can get game time on the ipads. Their "dentist shirt" is the one item of clothing that they never lose because they get so excited to get a 2nd token for prizes. Today, I shared our struggle areas (like flossing), and Stephanie gave me great ideas like which floss to use, how to position myself and my child, which fingers to use on the floss... great detail to help me be successful. I brought my 19 month old son in for his very first dental appointment this week, and I could not have been any more impressed. He was so incredibly kind and gentle, and walked us through the whole process in the most unbelievable way. Although my son was slightly freaked out by the experience (which is understandable), Dr. Cohen handled it like a true, experienced professional, in the quickest way possible, and was even able to comfort him by the end. In about 15 seconds, he was able to see that he had all his teeth in, no cavities, and he didn't push anything more, instead suggesting we come back in 6 months for a cleaning. So happy he was recommended to us and will do the same in return, he really is amazing.

I was not comfortable with this approach and brought my son to another dentist, who could find no evidence of a cavity after two visits with X-Rays. If there was, sedation and restraint are not their standard approach. I cannot recommend this dentist.

My almost 4 yr old got his first xrays and it was a handheld machine so super cool to see that, I would assume hardly any radiation as we didn't need to go behind a wall when the xray was taken. I've been in multiple times and have always trusted and respected Dr. Cohens advice. He doesn't like to push x-rays, he does like to get them when they are over 2 but if the kids don't sit for them he says it's fine and waits for the next visit. He doesn't like exposing them to the radiation, he will wait till he is 100% positive the kid needs something like a root canal, he isn't procedure happy. He is very patient with the kids, I have one very shy son and he has never been afraid here. When you bring in the kids at 1 and 2yrs old he does a great job of making sure he goes at their pace and comfort. I found his office through a friend who owns many adult dentist offices, and I asked who is the best to take kids to, he said Dr. cohen and I have not regretted my decision taking my 4 kids here.
