I had a first class experience at Dr. Steven Hecklin and Dr. Brittany Burd's Office and I definitely plan on being a repeat patient. They quickly got me an appointment within a week and at a time that worked for me. Their online new client on-boarding process was super easy and quick. I just needed to give my basic information and compete a quick medical history questionnaire. It only took about ten minutes to complete everything. This eliminated having to do a formal check-in and filling out paperwork on the day of my appointment. Great communication and reminders via email and text about my upcoming appointment. They even sent me a calendar event for my appointment so I could automatically add it to my calendar on my phone. Since we are in COVID they had me call from my car when I got there the day of my appointment. Once they told me I could come in, I was greeted by a friendly staff wearing a mask. They sprayed my hands with sanitizer and took my temp then walked me straight back to my room. The office was bright and clean and friendly. The dental assistant Ashley was very friendly and professional and Dr. Brittany Burd was awesome! I was there for a cosmetic procedure to fill a few small gaps and file down some ridges on my front teeth. It was painless and I was out of the chair in and hour. These are things I've wanted to fix about my smile for YEARS! I always assumed it would cost $1,500+ and require a retainer or invisaline. I already had braces as a kid and didn't want to go through that again. I'm SO glad I consulted with Dr. Burd and she told me about bonding as a solution. This was a game changer for me. Now I have the smile I always wanted. I couldn't be more pleased or impressed with my experience at their office. In summary, go see Dr. Hecklin or Dr. Burd. They are awesome. They do great work. Dr. Hecklin is a Dentist (DMD) and a Doctor (MD) but most importantly he is a person who genuinely cares about the patient (YOU)! His caring is also reflected in his staff and their attitudes toward YOU! In a time where most doctors treat you like you are a number in a cattle call, Dr. Hecklin treats you like an important human being that is there to insure the best treatment possible for your oral and dental health and confidence in your smile. He is adamant that things are done RIGHT, and that you are satisfied, and that thinks LOOK GOOD and that you are PLEASED! I've seen him send things back to the LAB over and over if it is not done perfectly. I have been using him for years and have never left his office without being happy with what he did, even when there were some tuff problems to solve. I am sort of a difficult patient, I hate pain, I do not do well with dentists, I don't like people working in my mouth, I am afraid of needles and I have PTSD. I came to Dr. Hecklin when another dentist really botched up some of my dental work and I was very unhappy and having dental problems. Dr. Hecklin worked with me to get them all straightened out. I really can't say enough about my experience with Dr Hecklin and his team. I had gotten veneers done by Dr. Hecklin and my experience and end result was above and beyond what i ever expected. I had a lot of work done on my teeth in the last 1/14 years, due to misalignment, poor chewing habits and wear and tear from grinding at night. I talked with Dr Hecklin and he clearly explained how I could achieve a result that would leave me with a perfect bite, and strong, attractive teeth. He first referred me to Dr A. Joel Gluck for "Invisalign" braces to position my teeth correctly. After 54 weeks, my teeth were in perfect alignment and ready for the next phase. Dr. Hecklin then replaced my middle-upper 12 teeth and my middle lower 12 teeth (which all were badly worn) with porcelain crowns. I now have an attractive smile, and can chew easily and comfortably. He created a beautiful bridge in my mouth and performs every task as painlessly as possible. I trust him completely. I used to see Dr. Hecklin for my regular dental care. Then life happened, and before I knew it, years had gone by without a dental check up. I went back to Dr. Hecklin's office yesterday for x-rays, a cleaning and an exam. Dr. Hecklin and his staff welcomed me and did not judge me for not coming in sooner.
