I called Discount Appliance World in Geneva, New York, and a nice lady named Judy said that she would wait for me to come and pick up the parts if we needed them as she was going to close in 15 minutes. She also told me that if anything we had bought from her wasnt needed, she would take it back as long as we didn't open the packages. Well, after fiddling with the dryer while my daughter had the whole thing apart, it worked! Didn't need the parts after all. So she took the parts back today and Judy took them back, issued a check and said she almost called us yesterday to see if everything was okay with the dryer. Now, THAT is customer service. And that was after she had told me to call the store number any time over Christmas if we needed to ask questions or needed something else. Even CHRISTMAS DAY! I had bought the dryer from them a couple of years ago with hesitation because I could have gotten the same dryer at Lowe's for $50 less. But they offered same day delivery and take out my old dryer. That already was worth the extra. But the fact that the money helped a local business out and THEN went above and beyond for my family cinched my five star rating for a local business. AMAZING!

We made a mistake with our measurements and when they came to deliver the fridge they couldn't because of our mistake . We had to take out the upper cupboard for the refrigerator to fit . They told us to call back when we did and they would deliver it the next day . So we did and they told us they could . The next day , delivery day they called to say that they could t because their delivery men all had Covid .After several phone calls on our end they finally told us they could deliver it 9 days later . When they did finally deliver it we asked the guys how they were feeling after having Covid ? The delivery man said what are you talking about we didn't have Covid . No one had Covid . Needless to say we will not be doing business with them again. You lie about the delivery and Covid what else are you lying about ? Sad. We wanted to buy local and support local businesses. Did a great job. I called Reister's for a second refrigerator needing a new ice maker. They came out and fixed the ice maker, but I needed to call them back becasue the arm of the maker wasn't falling back into place. They came right back, no charge and installed ANOTHer brand new ice maker. Works perfectly. I loved this complany and I already recommended them to my friends here in the Finger Lakes Area who have had all sorts of problems with other appliance repair companies, as had I in the past.
