We just had Steve's install a new hot water heater and I could not be happier. Since it is only a few days until Thanksgiving I did not know how soon the job could be done. I called from work on Monday and was asked what time I would be home and five minutes after I arrived they were pulling in my driveway. They did the job within two hours and my hot water is running. Every time I have called them they have bailed me out. I find their service is great. When anyone tells me they are to expensive I tell them SERVICE, SERVICE, SERVICE. Generally when you call a company like this, especially in the winter, you have some pretty serious problems; well don't expect any type of professionalism or the least bit of concern from the woman who answers the phone. I couldn't believe not only what she was telling me but with the attitude she had. in my 70 years I have NEVER been spoken to in this condescending tone. professionally i would say that the woman needs some intense mental health help. No one should ever speak to another with this tone. I would not recommend this company because of this rude unprofessional employee. I needed to have a belt replaced on my furnace. The service man showed up and spent a grand total of 30 seconds replacing the belt. Well, maybe three minutes, after all, he did have to go back out to the truck to get a different size belt. For that I was charged $190! Yes it was a Saturday. I then told the service man that I was looking to replace our entire HVAC system. He assured me that someone would call me immediately on Monday to set up an appointment for an estimate. Had water in my basement and called to have my furnace checked out before turning it on. Bob came out and took water out of the blower and started furnace. Never said that he did not put a filter in the furnace, never put on the paperwork that he didn't put a filter in the furnace. I am 81 years old and told him I could not get down the stairs and he said everything was fine. Not only did my furnace run with out a filter but he never gave me my senior discount. Since day one of having Steve's install a broiler in my home I have had nothing but headaches. Every winter the unit fails and then theyncharge me to fix it. I bought it new and it hasnt NEVER worked properly. Today it is leaking propane into my home. The first time I called these guys I was happy with the service. They were prompt and fixed my boiler. The second time I was NOT so happy. They were prompt and polite but the technician right off told me he wouldn't be able to find parts and he hadn't even looked at what was wrong yet. He told me that my boiler was actually a pool heater even though the original manual was sitting on top of the unit and is titled "Residential Home Furnace Boiler 1986". He then sprayed some lubricant in the unit and said the owner would come by to give me an estimate for a new unit. He never even took it apart. That evening when my husband came home he took the cover off, cleaned it, and now it works perfect. Hadn't been cleaned in a few years. I got a bill for $86.00 for NOT fixing it.
