Came in and diagnosed a lot of our issues but they never got back to us with an estimate to fix them. All of my messages asking about the estimate were marked "read" but not responded to for now almost two weeks. Sucks but it is what it is. Edit: To respond to the reply from the business owner (because I'm will come with receipts), we called because it was 52 degrees and dropping in our house where we have animals. The furnace was running but not working. The guy came and told us to take up the carpet the seller placed over a vent that was causing our furnace to overheat and it started heating up immediately. And as for the state of our house, we did have numerous piles of boxes as we had just moved in a few days previous. Insinuating we're messy or something was extremely unprofessional and rude. Also I attached a picture of the time he offered us that was 4-6pm, he makes it sound like they came out at 8pm to fix it. I already messaged him privately telling him if he had come to me and told me he thought three stars was more fair I would have changed it but after that response he earned a one star. Edit 2: I did want to point out one last thing, even if we hadn't just moved in and we were just box hoarders or something it's a really awful mindset to have that we don't deserve y'all to come out and fix our heating when it's close to or in the negatives outside. I had called just Right about a week ago because it was freezing in my house. Joel came over quickly and tried to fix the problem but were afraid my pipes were frozen and would burst. Joel suggested that I would need a plumber and he called plumbers himself to find someone had the right equipment. Joel repeatedly came out to my house even after the plumber fixed the problem downstairs because my upstairs was still cold. Fortunately the pipes thawed on their own and he just came out 10 days later and at 10:30 at night to make sure that everything was ok. Had our hot water tank leaking on a Friday night. We were without hot water on the weekend. Called several places Saturday, and left messages looking for help. He came during the appointed time two hour window timeframe on a day when the forecast was for temperatures above 70 in the afternoon which he mentioned was ideal for checking the AC. He did a through cleaning of the outside condenser unit with spray and water hose. Took time to point out a leak associated with the heating unit for the HVAC even though he was doing a check up on the AC. Gave an honest assessment of the pros and cons of upgrading the thermostat for heating and how it would not improve the air conditioning. I am not a review writer at all, however, I felt it only fair to write a review for Eric and Just Rite HVAC after a wonderful experience. This company and Eric the owner are, in a word, the BEST! I needed main floor's central AC replaced. A friend recommended me to Eric. I texted him and he responded with a few hours. setting up an appointment was fast and easy. Eric was knowledgeable and timely. My job was extremely difficult based on the location of my air handler and there was a high chance the ceiling would need to be opened for access. When Eric arrived for the job he inspected further and said he was going to try not to have to open the ceiling for access. He and his crew went well beyond what anybody else would have done and meticulously dismantled the old air handler piece by piece. It was time consuming, difficult and energy consuming. But they were able to do and saved me from having a gaping hole in my ceiling. They did an excellent job setting up the new air handler in the same location and even fixed errors the previous installer had made! Our furnace was dead from a bad plumbing failure (water soaked everything). Joel was the first to return my call. He actually spent time on the phone answering my questions about trying to fix it myself. I don't recommend trying that unless you have some experience. Anyway, the replacement pilot controller didn't work until I remembered Joel telling me the wiring's slightly different on the new units. Sure enough, I tweaked the connections and I have heat! At 2AM I noticed that my central A/C was not blowing cold air so I check everything I knew that could be the problem. No dice so I looked up online and found several well known heating and cooling companies. that offered 24/7 emergency service. What a laugh, every one I called their answering service said they would call back after 9AM. I explained that there was Health issues involved if the A/C wasn't working properly and why couldn't someone come out as they all stated 24/7 emergency, they just said they were the service and to just take calls. I searched online again and found this company and thought why not. I apparently woke him up but he listened to my issue and said he would be right out. 20min later he was here, found and fixed the issue at what I consider a reasonable cost ( for being called at 4AM Saturday). Joel and Just Right recently replaced my very old furnace, and I'm beyond impressed with the work completed. I submitted a quote through the Yelp quote request tool and receive a very quick answer back. He called me to discuss the issue and provide very basic guideline pricing but would stop out to review. Due to the somewhat emergent nature of the request, he even stopped by on a day that he wasn't going to work to get preliminary measurements out of the way so that he could install on what was initially the site visit quote day (thanks, Joel's wife!). When quoting, Joel didn't just randomly look around, scope a few things out, and throw out a number - he used calculations, measurements, and his very obvious expertise on the matter to suggest the best solution. I cannot believe how good and honest this business is. Here is a recap of my experience: Initial AC problem: Water all over the floor, coming out of pipe into my furnace. My experience with "high regarded competition": They came out charged me a service call, did NO work and told me that pipe was lose, cracked and that drain pan was cracked. Needed new AC unit. Water dripped into furnace panel so needed new panel. Cost is $4,000 for a AC unit and $500 for a circuit board. My experience with Just Right: Came right out to my house and immediately went to work. He showed me the pipe (was not cracked). circuit board was not ruined. Fixed some settings, pan was not cracked either. Made the pipe fit better and guess what? NO unit needed. He saved me THOUSANDS! He took the time to explain everything to me, made recommendations.
