We checked out this meat shop over the weekend for the first time. Overall I was impressed. They offer a whole slew of fresh meats..as well as other deli staples such as potato & chicken salad, huge dill pickles, bread & buns, cheeses etc. I wasn't planning on purchasing anything that morning but when I saw their hot sausage it just looked too good to pass up. I've tried them in the meantime and they were really good. Maybe not quite as hot as I would prefer, but very flavorful and juicy..a good solid sausage overall that I would definitely buy again. They also have kind of a build your own sandwich option there where you can pick and choose the different meats and cheeses you want and they'll make you a sandwich right there. I'm sure that's a really good sandwich, using all their freshly cut product. I want to try one in the future. The lady working the counter that morning was so nice as well. She was friendly and helpful, and even went out of her way to let us use their private bathroom when my nephew had to go. Just a very pleasant customer service experience overall. So yes, between the quality and variety of meats they provide, and the excellent customer service, I would absolutely recommend this deli for your meat eating needs. I hear their kielbasa is really good..I'm looking forward to trying that next.

    Many fresh meats!

Excellent service and great selection. The steak is always very high in quality. We can never walk out without a package of deviled eggs.

1-Star Review - Extremely Disappointed with This Location…read more I had a very frustrating experience at the Honey Baked Ham in West Chester, Ohio, and I want to warn others before they make the same mistake. My wife placed a prepaid online order for a 7 lb ham, scheduled for pickup between 10-11 AM on Monday, 12/21/2025, for our family Christmas dinner. We expected a quick in‑and‑out pickup, especially since the order was paid for in advance. Instead, we were told to stand in the same line as walk‑ins, which completely defeats the purpose of preordering. I ended up waiting over an hour just to reach the cashier. When I finally got to the front, I was told they were sold out of the 7 lb ham I had already paid for. This is absolutely unacceptable. Walk‑in customers were clearly able to buy the product that prepaid customers had reserved. Preorders should be prioritized and set aside--otherwise, what's the point of preordering at all? I was told a truck was "on the way" and would arrive in about 30 minutes, but after already waiting an hour, I wasn't willing to wait even longer. The only option they could offer was a 10 lb ham, which I accepted because it was the only bone‑in ham left. This location clearly has serious issues with inventory management and honoring prepaid orders. If you're planning to pick up a holiday order, I strongly recommend avoiding the West Chester location. The Mason, Ohio store has been far more reliable in my experience.

Dorothy Lane Market -- Mason, Ohio…read more If you're looking for a grocery store that feels like Whole Foods--but better, check out Dorothy Lane Market in Mason! I stopped in today and, as always, ended up finding way more than I planned. First, you absolutely cannot leave without trying the bakery. I picked up their pecan salted caramel brownies, and these things are KILLER ( thus their name Killer Brownies) They have one of the best bakery selections I've come across, and everything looked so fresh and tempting. I also grabbed some sourdough bread and a salted soft pretzel. Their meat selection is fantastic too. We picked up some specialty brats, including Hawaiian brats with pineapple and brown sugar and Bourbon Peach brats. I also couldn't resist their gourmet blended burgers. For my wife, I grabbed the Steakhouse Burger, which is infused with provolone, A.1. sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper. For myself, I went with the Philly Burger, loaded with peppers, onions, and cheese sauce. Talk about taking burgers to another level! Yes, Dorothy Lane Market is more expensive than your average grocery store, but you can really see and taste the difference in the quality. From the bakery to the specialty meats and prepared foods, this is definitely a place where you're paying for quality. If you're a foodie--or just like discovering great specialty grocery stores--Dorothy Lane Market is worth the trip. I walked in for a few things and walked out with enough food to plan several meals. Five stars from me! Another great food find in Ohio! -- Brian, from Brian's Big Bite food reviews

The bakery has cakes, Dubai chocolate bars and many treats to choose from. There's seating upstairs if you decide to dine there. I saw staff walking around assessing needs of the facility and helping patrons. Everyone was nice and helpful and the vibes were chill, easy shopping experience. I've been before and will definitely return again and again. This has beat out Farmer's Market for me. They have a coffee bar that makes various coffee, tea and breakfast options. Great place for groceries and meals.
