Came to Denver for a conference, while heading back to California to head home my 2024 GMC broke down. I was able to get it towed here where Crystal absolutely handled business for me. She quickly got my truck in and the mechanics were able to make the necessary repairs. The repairs took about 5 days for all that needed to be done which was quicker than I expected and was on original ETA. I ended up flying back the following week and picked the truck up to drive back. Crystal had the truck ready and waiting for me and made the entire transition seamless and smooth. I've never been to a dealership where the staff took the time to do everything right while communicating the entire process along every step. We definitely need more Crystals out there in the way she handled customer service. Absolutely 5 star service here. I wish this dealership was home local because I would have zeros issues and 100% trust bringing my vehicles in for and service or repair. I can only imagine what purchasing a vehicle is like here the way they took care of me for service in repair. This dealership should be proud of the people they have here! On two separate occasions, she failed to properly diagnose or fix my car. The issues remained unresolved, and the lack of thoroughness and professionalism was staggering. As a female, I take pride in seeing women in this industry--but Emily is simply not capable. This isn't about gender, it's about competency, and she repeatedly dropped the ball. Chevy has always meant reliability to me, but this experience is making me seriously consider walking away from the brand altogether. Brought a company vehicle here last week and stood in front of two people for about 20 min. No acknowledgment or a simple well be right with you from the service counselors fat guy and younger guy. Went to the office next door and met Sal. Even though he was with a customer he assured me he'd be with me. Working quickly he was able to get me taken care of and out the door quickly. Our family purchased a vehicle from Stevinson Chevrolet for our 18 year old, and then, 8 miles down the road from the dealership, the vehicle broke down and had to be towed back to the dealership. They did make some minimal repairs (for which they covered the cost) and told us it was all great and good to go, knowing we'd be sending our daughter to college, across the country, n the vehicle. Then, on the first long trip, the car broke down again in the middle of rural Wyoming. The attempt to contact the manager for a recommendation of where we might try to take it in Wyoming was met with silence. We haven't even had the vehicle long enough to get permanent license plates yet. The repairs will cost thousands. I don't know if Stevinson Chevrolet is intentionally dishonest, isn't thorough or just simply not invested in the well being of customers. The mechanic we finally found in Wyoming stated that with the codes thrown the first time it broke down that any mechanic with integrity would have looked a bit further into the issue and very like discovered the issue that caused the break down in the middle of nowhere prior to this crisis. read more

We had to replace a vehicle that was totaled by the flooding in Florida, so we kinda were in a hurry. My husband have been a lot of different places and looked on line and finally found what he wanted. Used, but for a decent price and Very low millage. We ended up here and we made an apt and Joshua J. had the truck waiting and ready for us to look at. While we took it for a test drive he worked up the papers for us to see if we could come to an agreement on the monthly payments. When we got back he had the first part of the papers done and ready for us. He was very pleasant to deal with, friendly, down to earth and. Wasn't overly "salesy" and wasn't just a body in the showroom. He answered our questions honestly, and was too the point. Didn't waste a lot of our time or his own. We told him what we wanted to pay, he came back and made it happen. (Like 5 mins!!) We then had to wait like 15-20 mins if that, while they got the finance papers ready. We sat in the waiting lounge area. They had a clean area, with a fridge full of drinks, and some decent snacks and a TV. Before we even had time to finish a drink we were back in the finance office filling out the rest of the paperwork. They were so fast, efficient and friendly. It might have been the best car buying experience I have ever been through. They weren't even pushy - which was so nice for a change. Over all we had a great buying experience and I would recommend them to everyone and would shops there again. But the person that did the detail work put tire side wall product on my running boards. I found out the next day when I slipped off running board, hurting my ankle, shin, and shoulder. Need to see a doctor for my shoulder and Stevenson Chevrolet refuses any responsibility because they contact out the detail service they provide to another company. "Tephseal" Tephseal says they are not responsible either. I have left multiple messages for "Gene", the set ice manager, but no return call. Stevinson Chevrolet in Lakewood, Colorado sold me a 2009 Tahoe Hybrid with only 1,600 miles on it 3 years ago. The vehicle totally shut down 14 times in that time period. No electrical functions at all; no OnStar; no nothing! After one such shut-down, my wife and granddaughter and I were stranded in a remote area in the cold for hours. OnStar didn't even work. The windows wouldn't go up in the cold. The vehicle was towed in 14 times and yet the problem was never resolved. Kent Stevinson would never talk to me about the issue even though I contacted them repeatedly. I got to know his assistant, Patty Ford, well because she kept me from talking to him many times. She is a great "gate-keeper" for Mr. Stevinson but unfortunately my problems never went away. I traded my Tahoe Hybrid in last month for a Toyota Sequoia. Stevinson Chevrolet would not even help with that. Ironically, I received a Chevrolet recall notice days after I traded in the Tahoe Hybrid - specifically for the electrical system shutting down. There is much more to this story. I took notes each time the Tahoe failed and was tempted to put all of those notes on this review but it was way too much info. Stevinson made almost no effort to take care of the vehicle they sold me, however McCaddon Cadillac in Boulder was very helpful. My wife and I own a retail dog boutique and rescue on Pearl Street in Boulder for ten years, so we know what a good customer service experience is all about. We had a vehicle being shipped across country, the contracted driver devloped an issue so as he was in the area went to this dealer. After a time the dealer came back with a HUGE quote to repair the problem.. Now the problem was with fuel delivery, so guess what this dealer wanted to replace.. instead of trying the basics (fuel filter for example that costs $20) they wanted to replace the ENTIRE fuel system.. 10k !!!! I understand that most dealers are just part changers these days but even with that standard the quote was just crazy! So once the vehicle made it to the final destination (worked fine) we changed the $20 fuel filter and found it to be full of bad fuel and its been fine ever since! Shame on you guys! We have been a fleet customer with Stevinson Chevrolet for 14 years and purchased around 40 Work Trucks in that time. We will never use this dealer again. The current Fleet Manager, Blake Bratchell has been incompetent, rude, clueless and unprofessional. He appears to have no previous customer service experience whatsoever. Blake has blamed everyone from his back office, to us the customer and the upfitters, for his failure to perform his job. He has refused to process registration paperwork for a truck and a sander that they were paid for months ago, made demands from us THE CUSTOMER, and sent the most unprofessional email we have ever received from a vendor representative. What makes it even worse is that he has the nerve to be arrogant about his own ignorance. Blake has failed to order a sanding unit that they were paid thousands of dollars for by Ally Financing last spring, he has just threatened us, THE CUSTOMER by email. His email states that they will not pay the upfitter the funds they are holding or process the paperwork we need to get the vehicle licensed until we provide them with a letter stating that our Company President and 100% owner is allowed to purchase vehicles for his own company. They have also been holding $4680.52 in sales tax that they collected from the finance company, money that is owed and overdue to the State, County and City. We will be using his email threat in our filing with the BBB. Way to go Blake! You have taken customer service to an all time LOW. After receiving a copy of Blake's ridiculous email, I called the main phone line at the dealership. I asked for the name and phone number of the General Manager, the receptionist said "it's the number you just called". When I asked his name, she just said "Scott". I had to ask her twice for his last name. I guess she must get non-stop calls from dissatisfied customers and she feels the need to be rude to everyone, or maybe inexcusable rudeness is the new management style at Stevinson Chevrolet. Whatever their excuse, they have permanently lost a longtime Fleet Customer in their own neighborhood. I would advise looking elsewhere for your auto needs. If there were a way to award NEGATIVE stars, that would be our rating for Mr. Bratchell and Stevinson Chevrolet, 1 star is a little too generous. read more

We purchased a 2012 Chevy Traverse (Certified Pre-Owned, low miles) April 2013. We had a very good buying experience, everything went very smoothly. The sales rep (Briana) and finance guy (Brent) were very friendly and helpful throughout. We felt we ended up with a pretty good deal and good financing (we have excellent credit). We purchased a few options including the extended warranty and the front end clear coat (which they were able to add within a few days). Later we added the roof rack and a Thule roof storage unit. We had pre-approval from our credit union for a low interest loan (~$30K), but Stevinson was able to offer a slightly better deal via their relationship with Wells Fargo, so we went with that (we have other accounts with WF so that is fine). The only issue we had was we were told the car had a tow hitch (apparently hiding underneath the bumper cover), but later found out it did not. Though a little disappointed, it's not a huge deal since the car either had it or it did not, and the price of the car was good anyway, so we plan to add a $300 tow hitch. Still happy with the deal and the car. We did some online homework on the car and the rep of the dealer before going in for a test drive and making the decision to buy. Have have had the Traverse 2 months now...absolutely a joy to drive! Every feature seems well thought out, and plenty of room. Nice ammenities abound. A lot of nice features for the reasonable cost. And the ride is super smooth! Passengers all love the ride, even in the back seat. We did a 2800 mile road trip (with our dog) one week after we bought the Traverse, and it did great! Enjoyed our new Taverse, and the extra room we have for our dog and all the luggage. Wouldn't have wanted any other vehicle for a trip like that, and around town is nice too. ~Jeff read more

Read this warning A very serious warning for anyone that has purchased a car through Stevinson. Their so call "security system" that they installed in your car, I have discovered that the insolation was faulty. Since the day I drove the car off the lot my car had a stutter when driving, like you would shut the car off for a split second. I later had found that a wire from the ECM that they tied into for their "security system" was not properly crimped and was not making a good connection. So check their work! so that you are safe! I will leave you with a thought on this matter, picture yourself driving down the highway at 75 mph and that wire came out and shut the ignition off, what do you think is going to happen? read more

Back in July I hauled horses from Texas to Denver, Co. Made it safely, but 4 hours out had troubles with front end vibrating. Friday morning, took my truck to Stevinson. Explaining my situation that I was from out of town, they very agreeably got me in and diagnosed the problem. My truck was fixed in a very timely manner, which was something the local Chevy dealer near my home did not do. Needing new tires on a dually can be expensive, but they had great tires at a great price. Not only was my truck ready when promised, due to it being a Saturday they worked with me as far as getting the money from my bank as they were closed on Saturday. They were polite and professional, very friendly and very easy to work with. Thus, I was able to haul my horses home safely! read more
