I met Derek through a mutual friend. I was hestitant to change mechanics, but all of the mechanics were so respectful, humorous and easy going. The work they had done for my friend was reasonably priced and done quickly and properly. They never said something was wrong that wasn't, like many mechanics have done to me. As a female I find auto services places tend to try and pull the wool over my eyes. Not knowing I know a lot about cars. Stewie's never made that attempt to use my being a female as a way to get over on me. I respect that. While I was pondering whether or not to change mechanics my timing belt went on my car. Ususally that is a death sentence for a car, but a miracle happened. Seth one of the mechanics saved my subaru in 6 hours,changed my timing belt and all other necessary components, a long with a water pump that was on its way out. The cost to fix my subaru was so reasonable. After which I asked my other mechanic to quote the same job and they said it would cost about twice the amount I paid with less work... not including the water pump. Since then, I come to Stewies for every little sound, problem, or maintence issues. Every time I come and sit in their adorable waiting room, I see all the customers are not just customers, but friends of the shop. It is always full of laughs, food, and great conversation.And of course Ginger, the lovely lil pup that curls up at my toes is happy to greet me. These guys rock! If you're looking for somewhere to take your car this is the place! I went to Stewie's for new tires and a shake in my ride that I was experiencing at highway speeds. As soon as I got there I was given a warm welcome from Denise. She does a really great job of making you feel right at home. I talked to Derek about tires, the possibility of getting new rims and what could be causing the shake. He was a wealth of information and walked me around the shop to show me different tire/rim combinations he had on personal vehicles there. As far as diagnosing the shake goes he suggested a road force balance. He did an awesome job of making sure I understood the options available and what would be best for my car. So now I have new tires, the shake in my ride is virtually gone (Balanced the tires and put the wheels with the greatest defect in the back. I need new rims to get a perfectly smooth ride) and Derek even made the effort to do a follow up call. He shows great interest and concern in any problems your car may have and makes sure that the job was done correctly. A WINNER! An unfortunate fender bender turned my world into a great network of people via "word of mouth" from a neighbor. I started with Pleasant Auto Body to fix the damage (great job). I was looking for a good honest mechanic and was referred to Stewies back in July, 2012. I couldn't believe how welcoming when I walked in off the street. The work and parts are quality. The cost is very reasonable compared to the large corporations that use less quality after market parts and then price jobs according to time so they can justify the excessive charges. I've never had to go back to Stewies' for a repeat fix on anything they've done for me. If you want to learn, there's plenty of knowledge and networking there. I've received additional services from Auto Toys and an electrician referred to me. A+++ service from all. This is the best place I've ever been. I had my NISSAN Sentra's coolant leaking issue. All other Work shops told me way high price to get my car fixed. Some said its radiator issue, some said its water pomp issue, thermostat etc etc and then i found this place. I went there the honor Derrick is very nice gentleman. He treated me very respectfully, Offered me Cofee/ Soda whatever i wanted and asked me to leave the car with him to make sure what actually the issue is. And then he found out after spending a couple of hours that it was neither the radiator, nor the water pomp and not even thermostat. it was actually Head gas KIT whose third cylinder was leaking. He suggested me not to spend that much amount on my car so he put everything back and then after a week i went back to him and asked to use the bars leak head gas kit repair upon his suggestion so he had to take everything out and spent another few hours and then i got my car after one day and it was PERFECT. I was introduced to Stewie's while in college. I had a 1999 Buick LaSabre..pretty much a drive around town kind of car. Other shops had definitely gave me the run around on what was wrong with the car when I would go in for an oil change, then would try to charge me outrageously..I was in college so a) I didn't have that kind of money and b) I knew it wasn't really what they were saying it was. I had my car towed to Stewie's just to be on the safe side, Derek and his team knew exactly what it was within 5 minutes of looking at it, told me what they were going to do, then got it done. I will not take my car anywhere else! I brought my Ford 500 in a few months ago because the right rear was a bit lower than the left. They found the problem but indicated it really did not effect anything and probably wasn't worth doing. What auto repair does that! They didn't even charge me for the review. Next, I have some clanging and rattling in the underside when on the highway. I brought it in today. A heat shield was loose because a couple of screws rotted out. They put in self-tapping screws to fix the problem. The charge was $21.00 after using the $25.00 gift card they mailed me after a previous visit. These people are very honest and practical about what should be done. They have all my business from now on! A+++ read more

This place rocks! My mother has a Camry from the 90's and Stewie's has it purring like a kitten. These guys have the fastest, friendliest service of any place I've been to and they make waiting there as comfortable as possible with everything you could think of for amenities. What I like the most is they take the time to explain what's going on, what your options are and they don't try to sell you everything under the sun. Of all the auto shops I have been to Stewies auto and tire has been the best by far. Their rates are low and the staff is knowledgable and friendly. I drive a lowered car and its rare to find someone who's comfortable and happy work on a modified vehicle. I got referred to Derek via a close friend who has been going to Stewies for a long time.
