I like beer, and this place has the best beer! There's a huge variety, and with this being their main location they have a lot of unique creations on tap. You order at the counter and we were able to walk right up each time. The wood fired pizza was extremely tasty. Zero complaints there. They also have a nice outdoor area with picnic tables and cornhole. This is one of my favorite places to visit after a long week at work and kicks my weekend into gear. read more

I have never been so disappointed in a salad. They charge 18 dollars for a salad that is mostly mixed greens and only hints of salami, artichoke leaves and a sprinkle of mozzarella. It's a shame to find out they prioritize off-leash dogs over paying customers here! We came for Pumpkins and Pints today; we've visited many times in the past for meals and Winter Brew Festival. We were on the patio waiting for pizza, when people showed up with an off leash Rottweiler. It quickly started tangling with a German shepherd mix. It sounded like the owners were friends and regular patrons. Our young child was frightened by the loud wrestling dogs, so we packed up to go inside. One of the dogs rushed toward the seating area, my husband asked if the owner could control his dog, and the dog's owner snarkily told us we could just leave. We spoke to a staff member behind the counter who reacted as if she were going to address the people with the off leash dog, but when we looked outside ~30 mins later, the Rottweiler was still walking around off leash. We have enjoyed coming here many times in the past and found it pretty family friendly among local brewpub and beer festival options. But if the staff are even tacitly allowing regulars to hang out on the patio with off-leash aggressive breeds, I don't feel safe coming back here with my kid. I don't mind sharing a restaurant patio with dogs, but I don't think it's asking too much for them to be both on leash and controlled by their owners. read more

My previous reviews hold, and we finally tried their pizza so it's time for a review update. Their pizza is thin-crust style in a 12-inch size, and we ordered 2 pizzas, one with their regular crust and one with the gluten-free crust (gluten-free crust available for an upcharge), so we could compare. Both crusts were great, with the regular one having a nice chew to it, and the gluten-free crust was good and crispy. For one pizza toppings we had their seasonal mushroom special, and they were very stingy with the mushrooms, with not many on it at all, which was disappointing considering it was just a mushroom pizza and supposed to be the star of the show. The other pizza we tried was their Potato & Rosemary, and we added smoked Proscuitto. That pizza was good, but it's important to know they put the sliced prosciutto on the pizza AFTER cooking it, so it won't be cooked down and the Proscuitto won't have crispy edges as we were hoping for (the person taking our order did explain this when we ordered, so that was helpful to know ahead of time). Both pizzas had fresh herbs on them, which was fantastic and really made the flavor pop with all that rich cheese. Both pizzas we tried had an olive oil base, so I don't know how their regular tomato pizza sauce is. We're fans of their beers, and they have a pretty big taplist with a variety of styles, so you should be able to get a beer you'll enjoy. It's a family friendly place, with mos of seating both inside and out. The patio is just picnic tables in the parking lot, and dogs are allowed on the patio. We were most recently there in October and the patio didn't have any kind of cover or umbrellas, so I'm not sure if they cover it in the rainy or cold months. read more

I throw axes at the Celtic Axe location within Stickmen, so I'm here multiple times a week. The service is top-notch, and the staff are super. I love being a regular here. The pizza is tasty, and it's fun to try the different specials as they rotate. There are a variety of seating options (benches, regular chairs, higher chairs). There are a few arcade games. Even with it being a brewery technically, there's a family vibe. The brews are great, and if you don't feel like making your own decision, you can roll a die and let fate take its course. My two fond hopes-- I'd love to see some menu expansion--like a permanent addition of cheesy bread! Went out with a friend who lives in the area and she suggested this place. I think I've been to a different location so was good to go. Parking is kind of a nightmare over here. They have lots of outdoor seating which is good for those few months that we have nice weather. Inside is okay. It's very loud and they have communal seating which can be both good and bad. Beer selection was fine and pizza was good. You order at the bar and it's a little bit of a cluster around there. Bartenders were nice enough and food came out timely. Always weird to me to have so many kids around in a place like this (like an entire kids soccer team for example). Not much out this way so it's pretty busy even if it isn't the greatest. Stickmen Brewing was a recent Tualatin brewery that I tried recently and I must say I was quite impressed with it. I love getting kolsch beers and I didn't miss spotting the pineapple kolsch from this brewery which in my mind was a new spin to a typical kolsch. Despite being involved with pineapple this beer wasn't too sweet and had a good dry flavor profile along with citrus flavor to make this a well balanced beer. This beer is light and refreshing like most kolsch beers are and was an enjoyable beer to have while kicking back on a fleeting weekend. read more

I met my friend and 3 of her friends for hatchet throwing! Josie was absolutely the best and had such patience with me (I was the worst of the group,) as she taught us all the throws. While we waited for her to set up for us the group ordered some pizzas and drinks. I'm much more of a wine drinker than a beer drinker and they all had cider, so my first drink was a pale ale and it was okay but they all loved the Habanero cider. I am vegan so I didn't have a pizza option but everyone said the pizzas were amazing. The pizza is wood fired and if they did have vegan options I would have tried it since I do love some wood fired pizzas. The hatchet throwing was super fun. I would have thought it would be easier since Josie makes it look WAY too easy. It was challenging but once you get the hang of it, you can get some good throws in! I do wish we had more time as I could have gone for more but it was a whole lot of fun. We had such a good night just hanging out and throwing that we will be back in a few weeks! We stopped in here after reading glowing reviews about their pizzas. I like these warehouse style breweries. Theyre big, open, and usually have plenty of seating. We were mostly disappointed in the pizza that we initially had high hopes for. We ordered the Affumicata and Salame & Oliva. BTW, these are personal sized pizzas. After a long wait, about 30 minutes, we got just 1 of our pizzas. They brought the 1 and said that they messed up the other one and it would be awhile to get it. We noticed right away that the Affumicata that was served was very burnt. We always expect some burnt spots with wood fired pizzas but this was beyond a few burnt spots. Over half the crust on the sides and bottom we're charred black. Another 30 minutes later we finally got the 2nd pizza. It wasn't as burnt but it was also barely warm. Really disappointing for over $30 worth of small pizzas. We also tried a couple of beers on tap. They have a large selection that changes throughout the year. They were both good but not amazing enough to remember the names of which ones we chose. There are a few fun games available to play including claw games and an old school PAC man. Overall, I doubt we'll set out to come back to this location for food but it would be a nice place to meet up with friends for a drink or two. read more

I tried to venture out for outside dining this past weekend and Stickman's is where I ended up. I had heard they make really great pizza at this location so I was excited to give it a try. I ordered the Isola Bella...I know I know...the whole "does pineapple belong on pizza" controversy. I personally am a fan however hardly ever order it so I decided to take the chance. There were so many options to choose from so there really is an option for whatever your taste may be. In addition to the pizza I ordered a small Caesar salad. Can a salad steal the show? Cause it did. It was superb!!! Due to the current regulations outside dining was the only option. There is a tent with a small fire pit outside. Very great atmosphere....just very cold on the day I went. The pizza was great - I would definitely come back again! The flavors were definitely there, but the potatoes were mostly raw on the potato rosemary pizza. Raw potato is an okay flavor if that's your thing, but not on a pizza. The other disappointment for me was the salad dressing that came with the salad I ordered. It tasted like cheap bottled dressing.
