Food truck experience out at CCC. I love their crying tiger plate with rice. The egg rolls are good too. I need to expand my range of their menu next time, but the crying tiger and dipping sauce is just so dang good. The folks who work this truck are helpful and kind too. One time out at the college, they ran out of, if you can believe it... sticky rice! They did notify us before we ordered, but again, that steak and dipping sauce was just something I couldn't resist. They quickly offered to replace it with eggrolls and we got 4! (There was another time that they did not come out to a scheduled spot due to weather. And I wondered about food trucks not coming out due to rain, is it a functionality thing for the truck or do they think people won't be out and about to purchase? Give this place/food truck some love. This was one of the trucks that was banned from River Park. No one serves food like this truck. But I can see why people were threatened at River Park because the food was so good. The Larb was excellent and the beef was well marinaded. I only got a couple items and I wish I ordered more. Was at Farmers Market last night. So many trucks but lines were so long at others and didn't want to wait long so I ordered here. They had no wait I ordered their eggrolls asked how many pc it came with and type of meat. The man taking the order didn't smile it wasn't a very inviting vibe. He said pork and 5pcs and it would take 10mins. They charge a .60 fee for all credit/debit and virtual payments. I like how they fry the eggrolls at the time it's ordered but they were just okay. There was little to no meat mostly all cabbage and carrots and the cuts were inconsistent like some were long others short so you would take a bit of the eggroll your pulling but then pieces of the carrots and cabbages just falls to the ground. Come with sweet chili sauce and that was good. Honestly for 5pc $11 just might be a tad over price especially with quality. read more

What a surprise! At River Park on Eats day, my lady and I pass by this nondescript, run-of-the-mill red food truck. My wife is fiending for something beefy, and sees a steak dish on the menu. I say, "I dunno about steak from a Thai (maybe Lao) food truck." It was called Crying Tiger with Rice, for $17. But hunger won over, and we ordered it. The food came out in good order and promptly. And oh my, this steak was DELICIOUS. Cooked a perfect medium rare, it was tender, juicy, marinated with something that brought out the steak flavor. With the dipping sauce, it was a savory, citrus-y delight with a small spicy kick. Sorry for eating part of it before thinking "I definitely have to rate this place". Lol. the food was meh but I wanted something different and I was there to help a fundraiser at Sanger high. I opted for the teriyaki bowl and the small rectangular Rubbermaid container you can get at dollar tree size was $16. then I asked about the egg rolls and those were 5 for 10 not bad but 16 for that small container made me feel cheated. then I see 17.05 on my cash app. ok I was contribiting but the woman / cook was awkward at best. I have her my ticket after she called the number and she had the neeve to read it and ask me is this you. I didn't respond and she got over it and handed me that small container and I asked her for a fork and she awkwardly says " oh I didn't give you one?" a second had gone by and she needed to say that.!!!! I sure hope they did donate most of the earnings to the charity bc it seems they really hiked their prices and they didn't have much of an overhead her kid was the wheel and dealer taking the orders. This menu includes a lot of natural, simple ingredient meals that are healthy and flavorful. Picked this truck out from the many options at Gazebo Gardens on a nice Friday night. The young man taking orders was pleasant and flexible with my orders since they were coming out at different times. Ordered the teriyaki chicken and kua mee noodles for relatives and had the chicken and quarter with sticky rice for myself. The teriyaki chicken was a little dry, and I would have preferred more seasoning on the chicken itself, but the sauce was really good. The noodles were VERY good - I would highly recommend them if you had to pick just one thing. The chicken and quarter were also pretty good, more tender than the teriyaki and the sauce was a subtle, slightly sweet glaze. The sticky rice was pretty plain, just sticky. I might go for regular rice next time. I would for sure come back to this truck to try some other options. read more

I've read the previous bad review and if you're not familiar with Laotian food then maybe try asking before you order‍ It's a south East Asian food truck so you're not going to be getting broccoli beef. I feel like it's good manners when trying something you're unfamiliar with, is to ask questions and try it with an open mind. June 10 11:32 of us go to Sticky rice first time there we walked in the places, immaculate clean smells good decorated nice. We were the only ones in there. The server comes up. We tell him hot pot. He direct us to a hot pot table they presented a menu. Will you order different meats, different vegetables The type of rice that you want we ordered the pork belly the ribeye, the fish balls, the vegetable plate the mushroom plate, which by the way was fabulous on the vegetable plate you get bok choy Napa cabbage we ordered the beef broth spicy and the sweet and sour broth. The dipping sauces were the peanut Sauce and one that's made with fish sauce, chilies, garlic, lime, juice, cilantro, sugar excellent we also ordered sticky rice let's start with the food. The meat was sliced thin. The ribeye took about 10 seconds to cook the pork Billy about 20 seconds the fish balls about a minute excellent cuts, meaty tasty the vegetables we put in both bars, took about three or four minutes to cook the bok choy and Napa cabbage. The mushrooms were King trumpet and straw mushrooms. The bras were very tasty spicy. That's what we ordered. They don't hold back on the spices tolerable but tasty. I tried to think of negatives, but there aren't any. The bathrooms are one step below a surgical room that's how clean they were, which tells me that the kitchen is spotless which I peaked in and it is I would rate this place at 8 1/2 out of 10 would I come back in a New York minute next time I'm going to order off the menu folks for the price you can't beat it. read more

We generally enjoy this food truck, especially their sticky rice and chicken. This is my go to plate. The sticky rice is consistently good and fresh. The chicken is served with three big pieces and is always juicy and delicious. Their plates also come with a chili sauce that adds lots of spice! It can take up to 15 mins to get the food and as with everything over the past couple of years, prices have gone up. But the food is consistently good. read more

They were a bit on the expensive side, and that would have been ok, except they were small and really not that good. They maybe had cabbage and carrots in them. Nothing special. I asked for my papaya salad do be made with medium spiciness. I'm a big fan of spice, but the first bite was overwhelming with heat. A couple bites in and I realized that part of the problem was that there was no balance to the dressing. It was spicy and salty. No sweetness. No acidity. Very disappointed in the food. We went to the River Park Farmers Market and saw the food truck so we decided to try it for our first time. They ordered the egg rolls, teriyaki chicken with sticky rice, and the fried noodles. The egg rolls were cold and seemed like they had been sitting out for quite some time. The teriyaki chicken was dry and the fried noodles were cold as well. I'm not sure if that's the way the dish is served but all around everything was not good! read more
