Menu 3of3: Beef, Pork, Vegetarian, Fried Rice, Chow Fun/Mein, Porridge

My friend invited me here because she visits almost weekly. Although I had little conversation with the staff, because my friend and the ladies spoke in their native tongue, they were so kind and welcoming. My friend and I opted to try something she hadn't tried here before, which was something I had never had anywhere, the dried scallop & egg fried rice. She also ordered two of her favorites, Chinese broccoli and Eggplant (plus pork) with Spicy Garlic Sauce. We shared all three family style, and everything was wonderfully delicious. While dining, I already promised to return with family, especially for the vegetarian dishes. Also hoping to try their dim sum menu.

The food here is top notch, not very oily which I prefer. The service is fast, and the ambiance is great. We had the eggplant with tofu and tomato beef chow mein. Good home style cooking. 10/10 recommend !

Clean and comfortable. Good portions and not too expensive for an appetizer tea, soda and two main dishes was less than $50. Best in Fresno! Excellent food! Beautiful service. Will return soon.

After an evening of some much needed pampering, I decided to make it a Full-On Asian night & have some Chinese food next to the hair spa shop. There are so many options to choose from that I went with something basic during its last hour of service. Mind you, no one was inside when I placed my order. Next thing you know four customers come in. Two to-go and two couples to dine inside. I went with Mushroom Chicken & a Kung Pao chicken with half chow mein & fried rice. Something tasted different on that Fried Rice. My food was served piping hot that I burned the roof of my mouth. Pepsi products served but I chose a pink Lemonade. I was stuffed halfway through my meal. The mushroom chicken had great flavor & a flavorful broth. The chow mein was good a little on the greasy side. I asked my server for a to-go container. I gave her time since I saw she was busy. I got tired of waiting and left half my plate on the table. On second thought, it wasn't that good to take with me. As I was going out the door, the lady said, "I get that box for you.' Me: ' Nah, I'm good. Keep it.' And I bounced out the door. It's A'ight. I've had better. Maybe it will be better in a different night. Until next time.

Last week was our first time trying Good Eats Chinese Food in North Fresno, and it was such a great find. We went for lunch and dined in, but they also do take out orders and catering. The food was excellent and everything tasted incredibly fresh and made to order, and not at all like the typical Chinese food you get everywhere else. There was something genuinely unique about the flavors, and the menu had so much more variety than what I'm used to seeing at most local spots. It was really refreshing to try dishes that felt different and thoughtfully prepared. We were seriously impressed and are already looking forward to going back to try more of the menu. This place is definitely going to be a regular spot.

My favorite place for Chinese food in Fresno! Though I must admit it's the only place I've tried for Chinese food in Fresno - I like it so much I don't feel the need to try any other place! My favorite here would have to be their combo plates. My go-to items are their chow mein, Mongolian beef, and mushroom chicken. I also really like their mixed vegetables, broccoli beef, dim sum, and won ton noodle soup. The more items in your combo plate, the pricier it gets. However, portions are generous, and depending on my appetite, the food can last a week. Service is friendly - I enjoy seeing the woman at the front when I come in. The only misses for me would be their orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken. I also wish they had prawns with mixed vegetable on the menu. Everything else I've really enjoyed and been satisfied with though.

My friend and her husband live nearby and I was going to visit. I figured since I was close and craving Chinese food, why not grab some take out. My bf and I had a great experience with our first visit so I def recommended it to friends. My friend always mentioned seeing this restaurant and always wanting to try it., yet not getting around to it. We ordered a few dinner combo plates and egg rolls. The eggrolls were okay. Another friend mentioned liking their eggrolls because it was crunchy on the outside and soft/soggy on the inside. Lol. What a funny description. I told her to take the rest of the eggroll leftovers home, lol. They made substitutions, no problem. The ordering is fast and wait wasn't too long. Even for a weekday evening, they've got customers dining and ordering take out. The portions are huge, it's affordable and the quality of the food is great. Def support this mom and pop restaurant. You won't regret it.

Food was really good for the price! Great value and good flavor! Friendly service! Good take-out chinese food.

I would say this place is pretty authentic. I like how they usually make the rice rolls fresh for us. I usually pick up a la carte. Steamed chicken is not the best in Fresno, but just dip in sauce and you wouldn't notice the difference. Price is slightly higher. We usually order for to go, but there are tables inside to eat. Usually the owner is cool with me and has given me food samples.

Good Eats Chinese Food is a family favorite in town. They can get quite busy, so calling ahead for pick-up is recommended. There's space for large parties and plenty of parking. For the food: They have a large variety of dishes, ranging from Dim Sum to HK BBQ. Here are my favorite menu items: - Roast Duck. The Best in town - Egg Tofu with Dried Scallop Sauce - Seafood Tofu Soup - Salt & Pepper Pork Chop - Garlic Green Beans - Preserved Egg with Pork Porridge

Very authentic Chinese - legit! Loved their service - very friendly and suggested the fresh duck that was just roasted. Ordered: Duck combo plate w/ rice & veggies. Salt & pepper tofu. Beef stew noodle soup. Chicken cartilage mild spiced. XLB dim sum Everything was excellent! Salt levels were perfect and not overly sugared. Definitely returning.

This has to be the best Chinese food I've had in YEARS! They were fast, polite and the chow main I wish I could buy in bulk! So many places have fallen in quality over the years. But this place gave me nostalgic feel. I just got the basics for my first time. A combo plate of chow main, broccoli beef and orange chicken. The menu also needs attention, I saw duck and jellyfish being advertised options and in all for trying it even if I've never had either considering how amazing me and my wife's food tasted. This is officially my family's go to spot for Chinese food spot.

We were pleasantly surprised with the food here. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo, the roast pork plate, and some dim sum (bbq pork steam buns and the shumai). We liked everything we got. The steam buns were very fresh and warm when we got them. The sweet and sour chicken was crispy and also fresh, and it was nice because there were freshly chopped onions and bell peppers. The pork was very flavorful and tender. The shumai was fine, but we would need to come back to try the other items. The cashier and server was kind and attentive to our needs, not taking our business for granted. Overall, the food here was really good and we are happy we stumbled upon this place and will be back to visit.

You'll then have to wait to be seated at the register. I think this set-up is kind of awkward but hey, at least they have cute sidewalk seating. There are plenty of tables and long benches to sit at and the restaurant itself feels clean and well-lit! The staff are super helpful also. Tried the House Special Beef Pho and it was pretty tasty! You do have the option to order your dish with regular thin noodles, flat noodles, or egg noodles. The broth is basil-y and the flavor has great depth. They have a self-serve station for condiments where you can grab some chili oil, jalapeños, bean sprouts, and lime. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that I don't feel too bloated after eating here (compared to other pho restaurants). Been enjoying this restaurant and eating here at least once a week!

My memory is shot. I don't want to be handing out 5 stars so easily but I think they deserve it. The restaurant is very clean, and I love the little Asian lanterns they have, all different, above each table. Plenty of seating. When we got there (a little after 5), there was only one other table occupied... by the time we left (6:30), every table was nearly taken. Our waitress, as well as the other on the floor, were both very welcoming and friendly. They handled the service remarkably as a team. The fact that they were a packed house and still were very attentive with us, checking how we're doing, checking on our water refills... these are the little things I appreciate most (and, of course, good food). I got the Pho with the Fatty Brisket, my friend got just the Steak Pho. They have a bar against the wall with all garnishes you may need to grab what you'd like. This is pretty smart... It saves them from waste. Instead of giving people items they may not use-- they would just grab what they'd like themselves. My friend grabbed her goodies, I prefer mine as is. To me, if your broth is good and doesn't require me to flavor it... I'll eat it just like that (unless I feel like adding spice). I've only ever been to a few other Pho places where I had to season up the broth myself...definite no no for them. All my friends who have gone out to eat Pho with me know I eat it just how I get it. Pho from my Mama is a different story though... I put the works (not because it's not flavorful) but, it's just different. Moving on... They also have a Teazona in their establishment. I've tried a few different drinks in the past but came to regularly deciding on the Tiramisu Milk Tea (no flan for me, light boba). Make sure to shake it well. You can also let them know your preference on the level of sweetness. We both got this tonight and it nearly tipped me over on the full scale. Couldn't finish it. Everything was really good though. Pho was the perfect choice for this weird, gloomy weather we've been having. The price is a bit up there but that seems to be the norm everywhere nowadays. But-- for the portion, the quality, and the service? Worth it.

The burger was okay but definitely overcooked and not very juicy. It was missing some flavor. The garlic fries were probably the best thing we ordered. As for the service, some of the staff were really nice and welcoming, but I did feel a little uncomfortable toward the end.
