Personal favorites include the chow mein (pork, chicken, beef whatever, I love them all!) and the broccoli beef. This place it's just to pick up. No staying and eating there. We always order on the phone and they will have food ready when you get there. We usually order the same thing. The orange chicken with some rice and noodles. The shrimp plate with rice and noodles. I got this time the shrimp vegetables rice bowl. Also a side of fried shrimp. Everything was as always good except for the fried shrimp. This time it came out uncooked. It was chewy and the batter was still uncooked. Not very good. Still my favorite place to pick up Chinese food to go. Sometimes I'll order at the counter and wait for my food to be prepared, but usually I'll call ahead. Nice folks there. We like their pan fried noodles and pork fried rice. The sweet and sour pork and orange chicken are favorites. Big portions! read more

I was impressed. Very good. Enough for two meals. I really wish there were peas and carrots in the rice and bean sprouts in the chow mein. Came with fortune cookies and I can't forget the incredible vinaigrette dressing, that ishhhh is magic! So bomb. This salad will linger in my mind and I will crave it, something I don't often say. We moved into a new home recently so I'm trying to figure out new delivery options available in our area. Wasn't feeling up to cooking tonight so I ordered Chinese. I spent $150. not including tip. Very bad Chinese food. Poorly packaged. Sauce leaking out of containers. A real big mess. Bland Chinese chicken salad with a very sugary dressing. Chicken was good in it but that was the only positive. Chowmein was boring and flavorless. Szechwan beef wasn't horrible. Beef velveted nicely. Good sauce. Veggies so raw and undercooked. Teriyaki chicken did not taste right at all. No flavor. Mongolian pork was horrible not edible. Too tough to swallow. God AWFUL! Kung Pow chicken was nasty. I didn't even realize that's what it was. My friend ordered the orange chicken, which was very dry and overcooked - almost charred. I asked for the pineapple rice to NOT have shrimp, but guess what was in the pineapple fried rice? I love to order from flower city! Their orange chicken is classically delicious! The flavor is on point! The beef broccoli is fresh and so so yummy! The combos come with pan fried noodles so if you're looking for classic chow mein you must request it. I'm sure it's an extra charge. The egg rolls are crispy and amazing. I just love everything I've ordered from here. They have orders all day so I think it's better to call ahead so you don't have to wait long. If you're just walking in, you may have to wait for 20 mins or so. The parking lot is shared but there is always ample parking. I'm not sure about now but the last time I visited, you could not walk into the restaurant. You had to place your order at the door. When you were once able to walk in it was always clean and tidy. I called to place an order like I have for the past 21years, and when the girl asked my name I told her and she spelled it back but didn't hear her correctly so I spelled it back, then she proceeds to tell me why do I have an attitude and I looked at my son I was confused, and I told her what do you mean and again she just starts telling me to stop talking to her with an attitude and what's my problem, I got so upset I hung up before I said something rude, well the next day I tried calling to make a complaint, and it kept going to voicemail, I was thinking did she block me from calling, so I went in there to find out if she did block me, well the girl that takes orders and gives them out was there, i asked to speak with a supervisor or someone in charge, she said that would be me, and I said no someone higher than you, I started to let her know about the call on Monday and she said my name, and I asked her if she blocked me from calling the restaurant she says yes because I was giving her attitude and I tried telling her no one had an attitude and she starts to argue with me and than says if I want to talk with the owner, so she went to the back to call him, I told him what happened and he said no your not blocked, i told him she just said she blocked me when he asked her she said yes and he tried telling her she can't do that, so she started saying that I was telling her stuff on the phone when I called, I looked at him and said she's a liar and walked out of there, so sad that I will never go back there again, I've never ever experienced that ever read more

I have been going here from the time they opened!! Food is good however service in the front is horrible. My husband picked up Chinese chicken salad and when he came home dressing not in bag. We call she insists it's in bag. I keep saying really it's not she KEPT insisting and said I don't know what we did to it because she personally knew it was. Now why would we need to lie about dressing being missing and I asked to speak to manager she says they are not there.
