    Tasty Crab Rangoon!
    Ashley L.

3/3/26 Getting lunch to go. I called & ordered Sichuan chicken & Cab Rangoons. The worker was very kind and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. Arrived! Greeted, let worker know of order and it was ready. Paid for it and received with good day wishes! Great! Very nice inside. Lots of seating. Dim & calm. Lunchtime! Order split! The Szechuan chicken was a bit greasy, but still good with a nice, spicy flavor. Definitely wish there was less grease & more veggies. Crab Rangoons are Really Good! Great flavor dipped in the tasty sweet sauce! I definitely had leftovers too! Mother said hers was Good! She favored the Crab Rangoons too! Good service, Great Crab Rangoons & pretty good Szechuan chicken! Recommended!

Tsing Tao shrimp shrimp chop suey and chicken chow mein best Chinese food I've had best shrimp I've had best chop suet I've had!!! Cooked to order and quick and delicious! Beautiful place inside culture love.

Tsing Tao is an old-school Chinese spot. It earns three stars because the food is just ok (everything tastes the same) and the Lunch Specials are a great value, especially for quick takeout. Classics like the mushroom chicken and chow mein satisfy the craving, and portions are generous. The score drops mainly due to the quality. Dishes sometimes arrive noticeably greasy, making the meal heavy.

So I've commented in the past and felt a revised review is in order. Service is good, but that's where it ends. I should have looked at a previous review about the blandness of the food (despite asking for spicy). My wife couldn't eat the old orange chicken and the noodles were definitely not fresh. I can't recommend this place...

Always better to dine in. Got delivery tonight. Spicy beef with steamed rice and chow mien. Rice and noodles were good. Spicy beef had zero spice. I added some hot chill oil I had to spice it up. Tender beef but very little of it. Won ton soup was odd. Soggy and just strange. Really didn't care for it. Didn't send any utensils like I requested.

Love this place. I have been going here for the past 35 years. The food has always been very good and reasonably priced. The workers are very attentive and friendly. I would order their food family style, so you get the soup and appetizers.

Very homey ambiance with really attentive service from the staff. The food was a very solid take on Chinese American classics, but the highlight of my meal was the potsticker served alongside the family dinner option. Will definitely order potstickers as an appetizer on our next visit. The dishes we ordered were all on the salty side, but easily remedied with some chili oil. Overall cozy and delicious, great for large groups and families as everything is served family style.

What was left of the wonton soup. Good broth and ingredients but the wontons weren't filled. We still enjoyed it.

We were seated almost right away, which was a great start to the experience. We ordered several dim sum dishes, including the Pork Barbecue Buns, Custard Buns, Deep Fried Taro, Pork Siu-Mai, and Fried Squid, and every single item was delicious. The flavors were spot on, and everything tasted fresh and well made. The servers were also friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout our meal. Overall, a great first visit, and I'd definitely come back again!

Our food was for pickup and everything was ready on time and piping hot. We ordered a lot because we weren't sure of the portion sizes, but they were massive so we had leftovers for days! We ordered steamed pork buns, orange chicken, crispy sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, low mein, and Yangzhou Fried Rice. Everything was delicious and loaded with flavor. The standouts were the yangzhou fried rice which comes with shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. Loved all the meat here and big chunks of veggies. We all loved the orange chicken and the crispy fried pork especially. I tried to get my kids to sample the steam pork buns, but they wouldn't, which just meant more for me! Pillowy soft and full of tender BBQ pork, they were my fave. Truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Clovis!

We mostly order vegetarian dishes but also the broccoli beef with ginger over pan fried noodles because it's my husband's favorite... Along with their egg drop soup. We've never had anything but the best service here. Always happy. Always smiling... Even when they were literally running from one table to another because they were so busy. Our servers have always been the best! The restaurant is often very busy but tonight, just a few days before closing their doors, it was absolutely packed and take out orders were flying out the door. Thank you for such good food tonight, Aug 5th, 2026, and always. We will miss the delicious food but even more the warm greetings, smiles, and hugs from the servers who greeted us most often, Mandy and Snowy. Please let us know if you reopen in a new location, under a new name, or any of you decide to open a new restaurant somewhere. We will be there! We still can't believe that you're closing. Chicken Salad was off on the dressing flavor. #1 consisted of sweet/sour chicken, pork chow mein, rice, and shrimp. When plate arrived you could tell food had been sitting around...shrimp was drenched in oil that left my hand soaked (see photo), rice was flavorless and no veggies, and sweet n sour chicken as dried up and so chewy! Big disappointment as we gave them another chance and they failed bigger than the first try from years ago:( Empty restaurant on a Friday night should have been my clue.....and it was a red flag for me, but we gave it a try.

I called them the day before I needed the trays. The lady I spoke to was so kind and accommodating she said it was never too late to place an order. I ordered half tray of broccoli beef and one veggie chow mein she gave me my price after tax and gave me the option to pay in person or over the phone. The day of pick up was NYE 5pm my husband was the one who picked up my order under my name. He arrived promptly at 5pm and said the food wasn't ready 5mins after 5pm he said he was about to leave. Literally a 16min drive from the restaurant to my house then another 14min drive to the Nye party we were attending. Upon arrival the food was still piping hot, it smelled AMAZING and they gave sooooo much food!!! It was nearly packed in trays with foil in a box and the food was piled high. I did notice that the veggie chow mein I had ordered was a combo-chicken, beef, shrimp and veggie, no biggie!!! But the food was delicious as always!!! There was so much leftovers. I would definitely use them again for my catering needs.

There is finally a reasonably priced Chinese take-out option in town that I actually like. The Mongolian Beef featured tender, flavorful slices of meat paired with crisp, plentiful vegetables. The sauce complemented the dish rather than overwhelming it, and it was not overly greasy. The Garlic Chicken was also good, coated in a savory, slightly sweet soy glaze. The meat was soft and perfectly cooked, again accompanied by fresh, crunchy vegetables. Many of the dishes here are authentically Cantonese-style: savory, built around fresh ingredients, lightly sauced, and never excessively oily. Portions are generous as well. This stands in stark contrast to many other Chinese take-out spots I have tried, where the food leans salty, oversauced, and made with cheaper ingredients -- and becomes practically inedible once it cools down. Judging by the simple décor and limited seating, it is clear this restaurant prioritizes cooking over ambiance. Most customers opt for take-out, which likely helps keep prices affordable. Service is warm and efficient. You are greeted as soon as you walk in, and staff members are ready with ordering help and suggestions. Most lunch plates are $10.25 and come with steamed rice or chow mein, or pork fried rice for an additional $2. Lunch plates are offered daily from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, including weekends. The menu covers a broad range of Cantonese and Szechuan favorites -- Kung Pao Chicken, Walnut Shrimp, General Tao Chicken, Szechuan Beef, chow mein, chow fun, plus several soups and fried rice options. Combination plates start at $12.90, and the family specials (three dishes for $41) are a solid value. All in all, it is a great spot for anyone craving affordable, satisfying Chinese food -- especially students and anyone on a tight budget.
