The food was good and delicious, but had the service went smoother and more efficient than that, I would have given a 4 or 5 stars. My aunt and I visited today, and literally we were constantly having trouble finding a satisfactory answer. We asked for a complimentary water, and the staff girl answered back and said that the restaurant ran out of cups. I figured, well, she couldn't just improvise and think or offer something else? Then, we also had decide to down inside. Unaware of how hot it will be, we started to sweat in the restaurant as it is in the middle of summer, and we asked if we can open the restaurant door to have fresh air enter for a more comfortable experience, and the same girl answers back telling us NO, due to potential flies that would make their way inside. Literally, how disappointed and disgusting of a behavior from an employee! I was so disappointed, and to watch other customers entering right after that thought, they kept the door swung open---- and literally we both sat there saying to each other "thank god" like seriously. And the fact that because we were sort of so hungry, we couldn't even process the thought of leaving the restaurant as we sat and started eating already! Literally the girl behind the counter was so inconsiderate, unprofessional, and also I hope she would kindly pack more food into the to go boxes, as that is the reason why I rated this place a 5 stars, on the last review. Because I saw her only pack 4 pieces of chicken wings for one of the orders, and I had suggested that she just add 2 more pieces, and she said back to me " I have to save it for the next customers" like---no, there are only 3 pieces left, girl what is the hold up? You surely don't know what it takes to provide an extra and exceptional service. It's called hooking it up. And so yeah, today I told my aunt I will rate this place 2 stars, for that reason. I went here because I was looking for quick and fast Chinese food. I scanned the reviews and someone mentioned that it was like an panda express only better. They weren't lying! The food was amazing! And they served enough food that it made two meals! And the price is very similar to panda express pricing. So better and more food for the same price as panda?? Yes please! Plus the service was prompt and friendly! It's a cute little walk-in place. Maybe the interior could do with a little bit of an upgrade, but it did not detract from the place at all. The honey shrimp was AMAZING!!!! The first time I ever had honey shrimp without walnuts. I always request no walnuts most time the accommodation can't be made but they sell it that way. Freshly made and perfectly seasoned. Now the teriyaki was ok but not my favorite on the plate. I would order the honey shrimp again by itself. I've been wanting to try this place and I'm so glad I did today. The place is clean inside with a max of 28 occupancy. It reminds me of a panda style except better. I got 2 plates and had chowmein, fried rice, mushroom chicken, kung pao chicken, orange chicken, and coconut shrimp. They have other items that are made to order. I ended up ordering the wonton soup which was made to order. I know it's hot out right now but I can eat soup in 100 degree weather. They literally pack the entire container to the brim. The chowmein was delicious. It reminds me of my childhood eating the Chinese food at the swapmeet and they don't pile a ton of cabbage in there and call it chowmein. So we had this two days in a row. The first day it was delicious and flavorful. We got pork, black pepper chicken, broccoli beef, chow mein and fried rice. There was a lot of beef in the broccoli beef the pork was delicious. The chow mein had lots of veggies. So the next day we order again on DoorDash and we were so disappointed there was not a single veggie in our chow mein we also ordered spicy chicken which was not spicy at all and looked nothing like it did in pictures. Our broccoli beef was all broccoli and I was very sad about it. We also got the chicken wings and they were absolutely disgusting, raw at the center of one and almost all batter. I'm split between 3 and 4 stars. I went with 4 because of the quantity of food for the price. I grew up with really good and authentic Chinese food. But sometimes the craving for good ol' Americanized Chinese fast food kicks in. This fulfilled that craving. I got Combo B - all chow mein with orange chicken and mushroom chicken. The amount of food you get for about $12 is crazy. They kept piling on! The chow mein, while not totally authentic, was the mall style chow mein I was craving. Orange chicken wasn't super spicy which I appreciate. The mushroom chicken was also good. Food overall was a little salty but I didn't get a msg reaction (thank you!) Best bang for your buck! PORTIONS ARE HUGE and the prices are good. We both ordered combo meals. They have a similar set up like Panda Express with all the noodles, fried rice and entrees out to go. They also offer entrees they'll make fresh and catering for trays. This is the best part, though. The lady grabbed the chowmein noodles and packed the to-go plate and then SHOOK IT! She shook it to stuff it to the bottom to make room for the entrees! I was shooketh. When we opened our to go boxes, the food was shaped like the container, lol. Taste was good! My son who frequents Pan Pan but at the SoCal locations advised me to give it a shot. Service: The service here is standard meaning what you would experience in other chinese restaurants is similiar to what you'll experience here: Tell them what you want, they will fulfill your order then you pay and leave; there's no small talk. 4 of 5 stars Food/Offering: Here is where I was pleasantly surprised. Aside from it being similiar to a competitor with the intials "P.E.", the difference here and the competitor is that Pan Pan's portions are HUGE. They will stack your choice of food in a mound, almost twice the portions of the leading competitor. I think "stacking" the food is their business practice as my son did mention that it's comparable on how they operate at the SoCal locations. As far as recommendations go, I would go with the Coconut Shrimp, Black Pepper Beef and either the Mushroom or Black Pepper Chicken and I always opt for their noodles. There are other choices as well like Orange Chicken, Beef Broc among others but the three I mentioned are the best tasting in my opinion. 5 of 5 stars Overall: This place is "P.E" on steroids. Portions are "yuge" and the pricing is waaay better (aka cheaper) than the leading competitor: $10.69 for a 2 item and $12.39 for a 3 item (as of July 2025) - really can't beat that. Condiments such as chili sauce, soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce. There are more, this is all I can recall. Also small containers to pour yourself some sriracha out of the bigger bottle and other sauces. Beef and broccoli can add a little ore flavor or salt however, everyone's preferences are different. My first time there and I actually really enjoyed this spot. I've been searching for some good Chinese food. I got the number 2 combo and an order of the chicken eggrolls, they really packed the container with a lot of food. I spent around $18 for everything. The chow mien was nice and flavorful, I didn't need to add soy sauce or anything which I tend to always do. The spicy chicken was very good but not too spicy. Coconut shrimp was nice and fresh, I usually don't get this but I've been craving it recently. I can see myself getting this again. The chicken eggrolls wasn't that great and lacked flavor, a little bland. There was also a few items I tried off my friends, the orange chicken that was delicious, just as you imagine orange chicken to taste like. Kung pao chicken was very good and I think that was my favorite out of everything I tried. Salt and pepper wings, the flavor was good but the chicken was very dry so a little disappointing on that. I think if we had it fresh it would've been better. Egg drop soup also lacked flavor, needs salt and chicken powder. Inside was pretty clean and they do have a few seatings but it can get pretty busy. We got there when there was no line and not too long after it started to get packed, possibly a dinner rush. So maybe be cautious of the time you choose to go. Service was friendly and patient with us. I do see myself going back and I would like to try some of their other menu items. Have been wanting to try this quick takeout Chinese place since I come to Costco frequently and had the opportunity for the first time last night. Few other customers in the place at about six thirty on Monday evening Restaurant was clean and orderly. Two friendly employees working the line and counter. They have approximately 10 to 12 pre-made items. Order at counter, Served quick service style similar to Panda Express But they to also have a menu from which you can order some other food items including things like wonton soup and noodle soup. There are standard items like Chinese BBQ pour, orange chicken, black pepper, beef and honey shrimp. But they also have some more Asian/ Chinese style entrees like head on salt, pepper, shrimp, spicy chicken wings, spicy jalapeno chicken. So you pick and choose one item, two item or three item combos or order off the menu. Seriously, each box of food from my two item combos probably weighed at least 2 and 1/2 lb. Flavors were very good. Very fresh tasting. Definitely some of the dishes leaned more towards Asian/ Chinese style cooking including the head-on shrimp. Flavors Kind of reminded me more of a cross between Panda Express and authentic Chinese takeout like Sam woo. Definitely a pleasant surprise. The service here is great. They are super friendly and the food is good. I arrived about 2PM and perhaps the food wasn't as fresh as it would've been if I'd come earlier. I got like 6 tablespoons of rice (don't do noodles and watching carbs), black pepper chicken and black pepper steak. Both tasted similar being slightly sweet, but the spice was lacking and I could not detect ANY pepper. Honestly, we're choosing this because we WANT spice and something more exotic. It's a mistake to make this stuff dumbed down as if we can't handle or don't like SPICE. They REALLY need to kick it up a few notches. We LOVE spicy stuff! The portions were generous and I would eat here over a place like Panda without much thought! It's better, the portions are larger and the pricing is less expensive. 10/26/24 Hot and New! Must try! Plus I got an ad in the mail. Looks great! Scanned the bar code in the corner of the ad and showed me I could order. Did! Combo C.
