I wanted a special custom tattoo and after checking his work I didn't wanted any other artist to do my tattoo, so I contacted Matt, told him what I wanted and let him work his magic! This place is great! Great atmosphere with very friendly artists and are very open and listen to what you want. My friends and I did a weekend road trip Tampa (from NJ) for a show and I wanted a road trip tattoo to commemorate the trip. After looking at many places in the area, I choose this shop. We went at 12 on Saturday (which is when they open) to hopefully walk-in and be tattooed before the show, which was later that night, because we were leaving the next morning so we were banking that we could get them. Charlie was very unprofessional. Made an appointment more than a month in advance. Had to reach out multiple times about making sure my appointment was secured. As my appointment got closer, never reached out to ask what kind of piece or design I wanted. The day before my appointment I tried to cancel because I'm not going into my appointment blind without him even asking what I want. I have a lot of tattoos. First let me say that this place is awesome. The workers are talented, knowledgeable, and friendly. Most importantly this place is extremely clean. I came here to have my nose re pierced after letting it close a couple of years ago and was so nervous. Chino put my nerves at ease by throughly talking me through his technique and explaining how it wouldn't hurt so bad as I was thinking even though he would have to go through scar tissue. Santana was my artist and he was amazing. He made me very comfortable during my appointment, very knowledgeable and educated me about the tattooing process and after-care (especially as this was my first appointment). Thanks to his keen eye for detail he asked some important questions which saved me from missing an important detail. We set the appointment for a few days later while he worked on drawing the sketch. The shop is located in a small plaza shared with restaurants and other businesses. Very easy to find but pay attention or you may drive right past it. Just got 2 tattoos at Stigma today and I am so happy! I went there because they have good reviews and their website is good. I got a cluster or roses on my shoulder with some "brush strokes" of color on them. My tattoo artist is Eddie. He is very friendly and fun! He did exactly like I asked. He is a very good artist. His line work is perfect and so I will be going back to him for more. I have a bad back (bulging and hemorrhaged discs) and sometimes I can't sit in the same place for long periods of time. Eddie was very helpful and accommodating with that. While I was there I talked to pretty much every employee there. The entire staff are really friendly. It's a cool place to be. I did a Yelp check-in and got $10 off! How cool is that?! On the website I saw that the owner, Chino developed his own tattoo ointment. He said that he just wasn't very happy with the other stuff that's out there because they are petroleum product so he did a ton of research and developed his own. It has ingredients like sunflower and soybean oil, lavender, beeswax, vitamin E, Shea and cocoa butter. I bought some and it is indeed very soothing. If you are looking to get inked, go here. You will be in good hands with some great artists and you will be just as happy as I am right now. UPDATE: Just went to Stigma again and got a simple black arm band, courtesy of Santana. Even though it's a simple arm band, that type of tattoo isn't as simple to do as it looks. Gotta be able to do an extremely straight line. Good line work is the mark of a good tattoo artist. These people really like stabbing you with tiny needles. Luckily the finished product is pretty dang cool. A friend of mine insisted on me getting a tattoo. Since she was paying, I figured why not? I didn't have much time to figure out what I wanted but luckily the tattoo artist, Eddie, was pretty patient. I told him a rough idea I wanted and that I had no idea where to put it. He sketched out a few ideas on a few different places until we settled on my back. He made the entire process fun and I could only tell he was puncturing the first 3 levels of my epidermis with 7 tiny needles a few times. I also learned that humans have 7 levels of skin. Permanently marked AND educated. He didn't even charge extra for that! The work isn't done. I'll be getting some color later but I've already thought of some ideas for my next tattoo. What I really liked this that he worked we me on my idea and didn't take it hard when I asked to change a few things. Overall I'm pretty happy. Each of the artists were amazing.
