If I did, it would be bright, airy, with lots of natural elements, comfortable large minimal sofas, and hopefully somewhere near an ocean. And I would want this owner/curator to design the interiors and decorate it for me! I was wandering around the neighborhood and doing some window shopping. I noticed this sleek minimal store, thinking it was a pretentious high-end jewelry store and decided to go in. What i got had an art gallery meets used rustic goods flea market locally-made scandinavian japanese in a birch forest type of feel. The girls at the counter were very welcoming and there were just hundreds of teeny delicate elegantly crafted items to look at. I must have stayed a half hour+ looking at the thin blown glass vases, sturdy earth-colored mugs and vessels, pyrite and stone objects, witty notecards, wooden spoons, canvas tchotchke bags, beaded necklaces, minimal wall prints, the teeniest life-size strawberry salt & pepper shakers, a pine diamond object/case, etc. etc. Even the way things were grouped together and the wooden display shelves and tables tied in with the aesthetics of the shop. Still House has beautiful knickknacks and jewelry; I love the gold-plated molars. They're very dog-friendly and I like to go in here when I'm walking my dog Corky. They cast all their own work, as evidenced by the rows of blanks they display. The finished rings in gold and silver are simple and beautiful; they have a wide variety of cast decorative items, including vertebrae and hands. (They also have a whole case of gift-ready silver jewelry.) They also have housewares such as vases. read more

My favorite store in the city, always come here for gifts. Rotating selection of well-curated decorative items, statement items, and jewelry. From gold rings to Fredericks & Mae arrows to frosted glass dishware. A bit expensive but worth it. I'm amazed at how they're able to maintain clean, fresh looking displays without looking cluttered of full of knick-knacks - which it easily could come across as. If I had $1 million, I'd buy everything in the entire store. Great selection, never disappoints. Great Instagram feed, too. read more

The have a dog who is adorable sweet! Still House is the place you go when you are looking for a unique gift for one of your very selective friends. They have interesting jewelry and beautiful handmade home decor items. I had to mention the dog who is so sweet and calm but if you are allergic just let them know, I'm sure they'll accommodate. Bare floors will not make it hard on your allergies once the dog is out of the room. Definitely love this place, I think I'm going back for the bottle gardens and very interesting vivariums. I've been all around this neighborhood and I must say, Still House is a great addition. It isn't just a jewelery store, as there are many different types of gifts, decor items, art, glass pieces, cards and books, and even pots with plants. What's more, the store is very well arranged and conveys a sophisticated atmosphere. The owner is very welcoming and is quite knowledgeable about her collection and the artists represented. The selection ranges from $5 cards to unique and distinct hand-made pieces. One time I came by when she was closing, but she kept the store open for an extra 15 minutes while I asked questions. Much more than jewelry here: beautiful small ceramic pieces, handmade glassware, small-scale wall art. The overriding aesthetic is organic minimalist; nothing too twee or too slick. Matte metals/smoky glass/white glaze/neutrals -- not a lot of color in the place, but it still feels warm. Friendly owner knows and cares about the artists represented in her collection, but isn't overbearing about it. I bought two small pieces of laser-cut art (abstract/geometric patterns + metallic paint) in simple wood frames for under $80. read more
