This is sad because we used to drive over an hour to go there. We heard from someone at the bar at another local place that they think the reason why L'Italia changed so much is because it has different owners now. Our last visit it was a chilly rainy windy day and it was uncomfortably cold in their dining room. The music was also too loud. On the night that we went, there were about six Railhead beers on tap with one non-Railhead cider available as well. On the food side, we had a personal pizza and a soft pretzel, but they also offer a cheese plate, candied bacon and more. The pizza was absolutely the best that I've had anywhere in the area and the pretzel was delicious as well. The pretzels are made fresh each day (so when they run out, they run out for the day). Watching the pizza cooking in the wood fired oven, with a nice cold beer in my hand was a truly beautiful thing. The pizza arrived about 20 minutes later and I must say, the crust was tasty and had just the right texture.The sauce was excellent and the toppings were just the right amount with making the pizza, soggy. The wings were also pretty good, not quite as crispy as we like but they were good. The college students that worked there were all very polite and went out of their way to make us Senior citizens, feel at home. One plus is they have fountain drinks and bottle soft drinks.
