The first visit I was greeted by Lauren who made this entire experience as pleasant as a dentist visit could be. They accommodated my anxiety and put me in the larger room to make me feel less claustrophobic. Lauren made sure to tell me every single thing that was about to be done or if something would be loud or vibrate. Dr. Metcalf was friendly and professional along with listening to my concerns about having a higher tolerance to numbing. Lauren was very personable and did everything in her power to make sure I was comfortable including handing me a stress ball so I didn't fidget or confirming it was okay for me to listen to music during the procedure. A bonus is their savings club program if you do not have insurance, this program helped me with the cost and made it so I could afford getting my teeth cleaned twice a year. They were so kind to my daughter who is still finding her way on her own and made this mama feel good about the care she was receiving so far from home. I don't know if something was up with their equipment or what, but saw on Google Reviews that several others also had this issue recently. I did finally get a hold of them 6 business days later after I called for the 4th time, though no explanation or apology was given about what happened before. Being that this is a smaller office, expect to have to wait for things like Crowns, they don't have a way to make them in office like most places. I really cannot emphasize enough that the office staff here is awful. You will hear them nonstop gossiping about nsfw topics if you're waiting in the lobby. When they do talk to patients, they talk like robots. I felt so bad for the several walk-ins that came by during my last visit. The office person simply didn't know how to interact with them when she learned they weren't existing patients. I am assuming she was flustered so she reverted to asking them the same check in questions over and over again which confused things even further as they had said at least twice already that they were new and didn't have appointments. I appreciate the professionalism of the dentist and hygienist here, but likely will be finding somewhere else that is a little more with the times.
