    Enjoying the pool area.

Great service and amenities. My husband and I had a couples massage. It was excellent. We also enjoyed using the pool area before our service.

Surprise birthday treat provided by the staff. It was delicious!

I am a fan! My husband was kind enough to send me for an afternoon at the spa while we were staying at the Hyatt during my birthday and our anniversary weekend. I definitely left feeling refreshed and relaxed, and thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent getting pampered. I had an 80 minute massage and a 50 minute facial. Both treatments were bliss and I loved the therapists. The amenities are awesome as well, though I didn't get to indulge in them as long as I should have. The staff here are amazing as well. At the end of my visit, when I was checking out, the front desk folks let me know they had something for me, and offered me a glass of champagne while I was waiting. I browsed the merchandise, but rather than keep me waiting, they would have whatever it was sent to my room. A little while later, I had a little surprise waiting for me at my room door. The staff had taken the extra step to get me an amazing dessert to celebrate my birthday! I'm so used to the basic birthday greeting, but the fact that the spa staff did that little extra thing for me really made me feel special and so appreciative. It made my day and put the biggest smile on my face. Stillwater is amongst my top official spa facilities, and I will make it a point to set aside a few hours for a visit to Stillwater spa the next time I'm in Incline Village. Definitely worth it.

I look amazing! No seriously. Dixie plumped up my skin and sent my neck and shoulders to Nirvana. What a lovely surprise. What a lovely day.

The spa seemed clean, but one of the saunas was out of order the day I was in. The massage was great! The attendant asked me for my pressure preference and the aromatherapy was not overwhelming or overpowering. My massage took about an hour but I had access to the facility for the day. I did leave after an hour since there wasn't much to do other than the hot tub and one sauna. Overall, I enjoyed the services but I do wish they offered more, like a pool, salt room, or other amenities.

We've been paying for a membership now for two years, but we are certainly reconsidering that decision. First of all we traveled all the way from Southern California, and we actually went to buy swimwear as so she could enjoy the amenities, beforehand as she has done before. Today she ran into a receptionist who refused to grant her that privilege, I immediately told her I could pick her up, but she told me she'd be done sooner, according to them. She said that they denied her because it was to limit the exposure to heat prior to the injections? Did some recent study just get published that says exposure to a sauna, jacuzzi or a steam room before getting injected 90 minutes prior is dangerous? I just find it hard to believe that this policy is in place when she arrived well over an hour before her appointment for them not to allow her to enter the facility with a day pass is very unpleasant action. Then to tell her that they would see her sooner but subsequently fail to meet that objective and to make her wait the entire time without any word or update is atrocious behavior. Because they did not see her sooner they basically cheated her out of a large portion of her day. How is this acceptable? How do the owners think this is treatment their clients deserve? This is as nasty as the ring at the bottom of a public toilet. You stressed my wife out, and made her far more tense than when I had initially brought her! What exactly is the point of ruining her day? Why is management unable to make good on their word? Why lie to her? Is this how you treat the people who support your business? What she hoped to be a refreshing experience turned into a nightmare. How can we possibly continue to support such an establishment in good faith? Why travel from LA? Why buy swimwear? Why have a membership here? These are the questions my experience from today are leaving me with. It enrages me that you disappointed a loyal customer and she's too sweet and kind to say it herself but the only memorable moments she'll take are that you were mean and you lied to her, and she'll probably blame herself. Not the best wellness in my opinion. This spa clearly has issues that it needs to resolve before I'd recommend anyone bringing themselves or someone they cared about here. Stay away from places like this.

I've seen cedar baths before on Instagram, and I had to try it out for myself when we visited Tahoe. He did an amazing job explaining to us the health benefits of the cedar, helping us get situated, and pouring us a cup of Super Ohtaka (a Japanese beverage consisting of 50 fermented vegetables) at the end of the session. The cedar bath itself was comfortable, each session is 25 minutes. I wasn't anticipating getting so messy! It was very fun getting buried in the cedar- the way Tim explained it was like getting covered in a warm weighted blanket. It's a similar experience to a sauna, I was surprised when he told us that there was no heating in the tub and that the cedar enzymes were keeping the cedar warm! I definitely felt my circulation improving. If you end up overheating, you can create air bubbles with your toes and hands or just stick your arm out to help regulate your internal temperature- which is what I ended up doing. We got out of the tub, brushed off, hopped in the shower, and felt rejuvenated. What a fun novelty experience!

It's not a sauna but an experience that you've never had before. Unless you're from Japan and then maybe you've done it. It's what everyone else shared ... peaceful, restorative, healing, warm. Kirsten was awesome and explained the science behind the cedar and warming mechanism -- quite fascinating! I have some pain in my right elbow as well as lymphedema in right arm. After the session my arm felt 10000% better. It was unbelievable. I had no concerns about cleanliness. Everything was great and after the session you brush off the cedar and then shower. Bring your own swim suit or they'll provide disposable ones along with a robe. Afterwards I was offered an elixir of some sort with digestive health benefits. It's available for purchase on Amazon for $179 a bottle! This was such a great experience. Yes it's pricey but sooooooo worth it. Thank you to the owners and staff who make this available.
