Came to Stir Crazy for the first time on a beautiful Saturday morning. The place was PACKED. All of the indoor and outdoor seating was taken and at some points the line to order was almost to the door. The staff were super friendly and for as busy as they were the food and drinks came out very quickly. They have a really large menu for a cafe, lots of sandwich options and breakfast options too. Oh how I want to give 4 stars but after this visit I can only give 3. Like I said the service was incredible, no notes. Unfortunately the sandwich I ordered just wasn't hitting. I ordered the Cali with the potato salad. My partner ordered the Italian and I was so jealous of his meal, his sandwich was really really good. We also ordered iced vanilla lattes which were very very milky, like barely brown almost white in color. I went back and ordered a quad espresso to add to our lattes which did make them better. During a mid-January 2023 business trip to Richmond, I was staying at a hotel about an 8-minute drive away from John Bryan Park (where I went for a morning jog), and found this cafe through Yelp. First, it's easy to find street parking as it's in a residential neighborhood with a mix of apartments, retail shops, and single family bungalow style houses.
