This formidable pest extinguisher is the reason we come back to STL Pest Control time and time again, and will do so until the unlikely day the dreaded creepy crawlers leave us alone of their own accord. Jay arrived not a moment past his expected arrival time and moved along our property, identifying unwanted insects and their homes with a practiced eye and insectile confidence I will never have. Wearing what resembles a flamethrower backpack (might I suggest the likeness in design is not accidental?), he sprayed the perimeter of our home with an air of finality. The man didn't even flinch when a wasp flew past his head. I cannot say the same for myself. When I had recovered from my sympathy flinching, Jay was standing in the same spot, with the same expression, un-stung. This leads me to believe the bugs are aware of his reputation and know better than to sting him. If you have questions, Jay has answers. The mice in my place had been driving me crazy, so I hopped on Yelp to request quotes from places nearby. Not only did STL Pest Control respond within 10 minutes but they were also able to get me on their schedule the next afternoon. The technician who came out was professional and did a great job of educating me on what he was doing. He was thorough and checked all areas of the house for mice droppings to make sure he was targeting the right areas - including my basement and crawl spaces. Best of all he made sure to place the bait in places that my dogs wouldn't be able to get to them (this was a huge worry I had with any pest control -- my dogs are crazy and will hunt any new "treat" in the house down). read more

I started using STL Pest Control just over 6 months ago because I had house centipedes. Both times I had Craig as my technician. He is fantastic - very friendly and knowledgeable about my problem. Each time he was here, he put up bug traps and even left extra traps for me. When I do see a centipede, it is all shriveled up, so clearly the product is working! MODIFIED: We discovered a brown recluse spider in our sun room after cleaning our basement, STL pest was able to come spray and do a treatment for the spiders within a few days. I had a 8 week old baby at the time and was so paranoid I stayed at my on laws until they were able to come. Flash forward a few weeks... I found a recluse spider under my PILLOW yesterday. My baby sleeps right next to me and we always snuggle on my side of the bed in the morning RIGHT where I found it. I explained this all on the phone, just now, and they said they couldn't come for 2 weeks. Shortly after the call, Rick called me back and came by later in the day to spray for us and we were so appreciative.
