Teriyaki chicken with garlic mashed and mixed veggies.

Stopped in yesterday while out looking for a Christmas tree. We were seated right away and our waitress came over, quickly. Even the sandwiches and wraps come with two sides. I picked the teriyaki chicken with garlic mashed and mixed veggies. My plate was enough for me to eat lunch there and take lunch home for the next day. My friend ordered the steak and cheese sub with two sides. Our food was good. Not fancy in any way but we weren't looking for that. This was a perfect place to pop into for a quick bite before getting back to our day. Waitress stopped by frequently to ask about refilling drinks. Plenty of parking.

I walked In for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The interior had a clean wood beam barn look. They was around 20+ beers on tap, 1/2 of which were local or craft, and a full bar. The staff was happy, friendly, and seemed to know every local well. I asked for a light, crisp, local beer. The bartender recommended a Lone Pine Portland pale ale and talked me into getting the large mug. The menu highlighted their selection of wings with a couple dozen choices of sauce including a chart organizing them from mild to hot. They also specialized in pizzas, calzones, along with a selection of standard sandwiches and burgers including their Stockhouse specialties. I ordered the Haddock sandwich with fries and coleslaw. The fries had the same light fluffy interior as In and Out Burger fries. The slaw was a generous portion and just the right amount of creamy and tangy. The Haddock came on a long roll and was lightly breaded with a flaky but moist interior. The meal was great, the vibe was friendly. Every seat at the bar was filled, creating a fun local energy. All in all a good experience.

6:30 Tuesday evening. Fairly busy. Nice friendly staff. No bar seats (stupid covid). 24 beers on tap. Large enough menu. Looks a wee bit pricey. Not sure about the Tuesday night wing special what does it mean if you don't buy a drink there's a $5 plate charge that's weird. Nice atmosphere. The FOOD, chicken sandwich a bit tough and dry, mashed potatoes came almost worm, good fries. Mediterranean chicked was good marinated balsamic vinageret was tasty. The Waitstaff was FANTASTIC so attentive and pleasant, great job Nicole U.

I have been here a number of times, For the most part, I like it enough. They have done a lot to the interior of the building to add some flair along with the ambiance. The deck, however (which the end all beat all of the Westbrook locations) Has a lot to be desired. It lacks a good paint job along with some very limited space. You might get overlooked by a server out there. I do like the option of sitting outside so having it available is definitely something I like and I hope they take the time to make it epic. For the most part the staff there has been great to me. I have had one horrible experience with a staff member hanging out at the bar and simply hitting on the bartender while I waited to place an order, I ended up not getting anything. The food is average at best. I do like that they have tried to add some new things to the menu and keep things interesting. It is located on a busy street but it is also easy enough to get in and out of. If you are in the area stop in have a bite and check it out for yourself.

food was over cooked, dry, menu didn't have great variety of choices, atmosphere was ok. Typical for a lunch setting not a dinner

I gagged on the cheesecake, wouldn't even call it a cheesecake would call it a nugget. Highly don't recommend.

The Pub is inside the main building of an Inn. Parking was a bit confusing. We didn't think to call ahead so could not get a table with a view but inside was charmingly dark and cozy. The staff were all very good. I think our waiter was Rinaldo. He was very friendly even as the place filled up. I got an Aperol Spritz that was delicious. I had a lobster roll here as they offer it warm with butter and not with mayo. You actually had the choice of cold with mayo or the correct way (warm with butter). It was $19 which was lower than other spot's market price and while it was maybe smaller than some, it was the perfect size for me. It really was well done. The roll was warm, buttery & toasted to have enough crisp. The lobster was cooked to perfection. My dinner companion got muscles in broth and was also a big fan. I only wish I had room for dessert because I overhead the magic words..... bread pudding. Will definitely go back here. Thank you for the great meal!

Service was a tad slow, but we managed. I opted for some lobster bisque, crabcakes, and the Lawnmere flatbread. The soup was pretty good. There were large chunks of lobster in the soup. The garnish was a nice addition. The crab cakes were ok. The lacked a little flavor for me. The corn salsa was pretty good! The Lawnmere seemed like a good idea on the menu, but oddly it lacked flavor. I had high hopes for this flatbread. I feel like we missed a mark here. The crust was great. My key lime pie was delicious. The coconut really added to the dish. My son devoured his pub burger and had no complaints. My husband said his calamari and fish tacos were ok. The heirloom tomato salad was the best. The arugula has a nice taste to it along with the layer of ricotta cheese under it all. The flavors really blended well with this dish. The bathroom was 10/10 for me they had a theme and ran with it and I love it. The lobster themed wallpaper really made it overall we had a nice lunch. Nothing spectacular. Maybe dinner is the meal to have here. We went at 2pm for a late lunch early dinner.

I was born and raised in Maine and come back a couple times a year to see my mom here in Brunswick…read more I hadn't been yet to the Ram and Bull which took over a previous restaurant spot, and decided to give it a try based on the fact that one of their weekly specials was lobster stew. Let me be clear, I am typically disappointed over and over by the lobster stew I have in Maine. In my mind, it should be classic, with milk, butter, Sherry, and lobster meat. I've been searching for this version from my childhood for the past 30+ years and I finally found it here. Have they added a tiny garnish of rosemary to the top? Yes. Does it make me angry or detract from the sweet perfect flavors of the stew? No. And the lobster meat in the stew was tender, as it should be, rather than having simmered way too long and being tough and chewy. Their crabcakes also were nice and generous, although I don't love the spicy remoulade (I feel it's too strong for delicate crab flavor) and the texture was a bit soft for me. I'm looking forward to being back during my stay and trying more items from the menu! Oh, and don't sleep on the service here, it was excellent. From several people asking me how my meal was or just saying hello, to the amazing Travis behind the bar with his big fabulous personality. Yay!

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Fun eatery with some unexpected vegetarian options…read more The hubby and I stopped in for a weekday lunch with a friend who'd been there before. It had that classic old timey tavern look, with lots of dark polished wood, and their menu, featuring comfort/pub fare, was in keeping with the ambiance. I had their crab cakes, which weren't too bready or greasy and came with a tasty spicy creamy sauce. I also had a cup of their tomato soup, which had tiny grilled cheese sandwich bites on a skewer perched on the bowl--such a fun idea! Accompanied by a glass of crisp chenin blanc, it was an awesome lunch. The hubby enjoyed his beet Reuben, which isn't something you see on a lot of menus. Our friend had the chicken pot pie, which he thought was just so-so. He liked the puff pastry crust but the filling didn't quite do it for him. Our server was friendly and funny and we had a great time overall.
