Dined in, the service was so nice and friendly! Love their fry sauces original and spicy are self serve! Asparagus is amazing! They're one of the few places that serves crinkle fries, they were cooked perfect. My husband's burger was loaded with bacon, ham, egg! So huge he couldn't even fit his mouth around it! The fries were soggy, even after asking for them to be "crispy". When I tried to communicate my frustration I was told that I was wrong and that couldn't possibly be true. I asked for a name, a manger, anything, but the individual continued to tell me how wrong I was. Mind you, I'm sitting here with soggy, limp, oil soaked fries. Cut to the next day, I call again, come to find out the rude individual was none other than the owner. I am such the tourist! We traveled all the miles to middle-of-Washington to check out this place called Burger Ranch because you can order a side of New Balance shoes to go with your burger! Yup, definitely took pictures of that. If you ignored the shoes, it's just a typical fast food joint. They purchased the Blizzard machine from a Dairy Queen that had closed down nearby, so not only can you pick up your burger, shoes, and FRIED things (asparagus and zucchini, to name a few), you can also get a DQ-esque Blizzard! Hands down probably the best burger I've had in about 6 months. I did have the best fried pickles of my life right here! This won't be a long review, just the fax. They have Great service. Took my order and delivered it to my table in just under 6 mins. This was Awesome because I was hungry. This place reminds me of the old Tasty Treats and or Tasty Freeze drive-ins I grew up with. The only thing I haven't grown accustomed to is this Fry sauce the serve up here in Washington. It usually is some kind of French dressing concoction sometimes with relish often without. I prefer mustard and mayo side by side or mixed. Those of you who grew up on Maui or in Kāneohe know what I'm talking about. This place is known for their unique French fried Asparagus and Angus burgers. I can't have asparagus so I can't confirm how good they are other than the official posters on their walls which proclaims their legions of new customers who are fans of Stokes Fried asparagus. Uh, deep fried asparagus. Spicy fry sauce. Regular fry sauce. Fried ice cream. This isn't healthy by any stretch of the imagination but holy Jesus, it's frickin' delicious. So delicious we came here for food twice in a 15-hour period. I had fried ice cream as my dessert when my boyfriend and I came out here after dinner last Saturday, and got to taste test my boyfriend's strawberry swirled soft-serve. The fried ice cream was the perfect hybrid of warm and gooey without the melty or the greasy. Delicious! I'm a huge fan of the machines that are able to mix in flavors to soft serve to make them easily dispensed in cone form, and that's just one of the three options for ice cream you have here. Faux Blizzards [boyfriend and I are purists as we are both former Dairy Queen employees], standard scooped ice cream and the blended soft serve -- there's a lot to pick from. We split a dude burger with cheese and onions for Sunday lunch with a small side of fried asparagus. Asparagus is one of my favorite foods and I rarely pass up the opportunity to partake... boyfriend insisted I'd love the fried variety, and it's not really shocking to say that I did. Dipped in fry sauce? It's tough to go wrong. I'd say the only fault I found in the Burger Ranch is that the onions weren't grilled, but hey, we can't all be perfect. Maybe not the best burgers ever, BUT French fried asparagus is top-drawer, as are the onion rings (home-made, not from a bag from the freezer). Also, the chicken nuggets are real chicken breast meat, not some mysterious meat/sawdust hybrid. Burgers are pretty good, and a good value. Lots of frozen treats (soft serve w/ or w/o swirls, shakes & malts, hard ice cream & sundaes)--good for a hot summer day. Bonus: lemonade is made fresh by the cup! When I was in Texas, all I craved was fried asparagus and the fry sauce from Burger Ranch! The burgers are good and consistent but the fried asparagus and pickles are so good with the fry sauce! I would put that sauce on everything :) but I have to mention the desserts too! First, fried ice cream is deliciousness in a cup, crunchy cereal cold ice cream drizzled with honey and whip cream- such a treat! And the strawberry shortcake is amazing! Disappointed in the Burger Ranch after the reviews. My wife and I ordered the fish sandwich and the Bandit cheeseburger. The buns tasted stale and the burger tasted really dry. The fish sandwich also tasted dry and just boring. Good portion was good and the service friendly. Asparagus fries were ok, a bit chewy. read more

I had lunch here yesterday. The best thing about Burger Ranch are the onion rings & tater tots. My burger was odd. It almost tasted boiled, sadly, the lettuce, tomato and pickle just made it soggy. The restaurant has seen better days and it shows by the holes in the seats, and the general dingy dining room. I can say I ate here. But I won't be making a return visit. Thursday, October 7, between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m., our family stopped at Burger Ranch, after a soccer game for dinner. OMG, it was the worst experience I think we've ever had at a restaurant in Sunnyside! They, actually, only the girl working the counter, got our order(s) wrong, she argued with us about what we'd ordered, and even raised her voice to my husband, not once, not twice, but several times!! Wow, we were truly taken back by this. After the last interaction with her, she and the women working in the kitchen started talking about us. The only descent person working, was a young man that made the milk shake we'd ordered and paid for, then returned our money, saying, "dinner was on them." To him we say, "thank you," to the others in the kitchen, you should be reprimanded, to the counter girl---YOUR FIRED!! read more

Don't go here! I ordered my meal, same thing I get every time, 2 burgers/cheese/onions/jalapenos & extra fry sauce. Literally every time. I get the total at the drive thru menu, 6.93. I drive up to the window with 7 dollars in my hand, ready to hand it to the drive thru attendant and she rudely replies, it's going to be 7.21. I ask her why they always get my order and give me the price at the drive thru menu, and then it's a different price when I get to the window.. She replies she's just doing her job and it's not her fault. I go ahead and explain this wasn't the first time it has happened, every time I come up to the window they up the price, she said she had to charge me for the extra fry sauce. But I asked for it in advance before getting the total?!?! So I go to my wallet, to get the extra .21 cents, find a quarter, hand her the money, and ask that she keep the change (.04 cents). She shuts the window, slams the till, and goes to get my food. She comes back and opens the window, practically shoves the food in my face, I reply with a "thank you" and ask what her manager's name is, she replies, "you can call and ask to talk to the manager, I don't care". I say okay. Drive home and open the bag to get my food, inside I find the .04 cents (4 pennies) IN MY FRIES!!! Yuuuuck!!!! So I drive back to the store, furious, ask to speak to her manager immediately, and she goes and finds him. I ask why she thought it was okay to throw someone's change IN THEIR FOOD?! She replies she doesn't need to deal with "people like me" ugh.. The manager asks that I bring the food back, which of course I only brought back the fries with the pennies in them. So I drive back all the way home (not to mention I had work in 20 minutes) get the rest of the bag, drive back and he has a bag of fries waiting for me at the till. I told him I had 2 burgers and the fry sauces so he says ok. Grabs the bag with the old food, tosses it and goes to cooking me the burger. His rude employee just standing there staring at me giving me the stink-eye, he did not say a single thing to his employee about how it was not okay to do that to a customer, not a single thing. I ask her why she thinks it's okay to do that and she replies "you need to shut up!" MY GOOODNESS!! This was thee worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. The management did nothing to stop his employee from completely disrespecting me. And he even went ahead and got the "extra" fry sauce he'd given me out of the bag saying he had made a mistake since I only needed 2, and took out some chicken strips that he'd put in there, and replaced them with the two burgers. Wow! That's all I can say is wow. Absolutely shit service.. worst experience ever. Had to rush back home after a waste of time to eat before having to go to work. Don't go here please!
