My elderly mother never has a bad word to say about anybody but when she complained about one of…read morethe 'caregivers' I knew something must not be right. Her husband also told me she didn't like her. I observed the woman and watched her poor interaction with my mother, saw her reading texts while my mom tried to put on her tight compression hose herself.... so much more...I asked my mom's husband if he would like me to contact Assisting Hands Ft. Worth West to ask if we could please have a different caregiver. He said yes. The woman immediately went off on me on the phone...telling me we couldn't change caregivers, that she was already assigned to my mom and that if this was a problem she would have to call for an investigation!!! I was already paying for the majority of my mother's care and even offered to pay to have the other woman reassigned..It was an awful conversation and this woman was very unprofessional and mean. The following morning it was as if she was Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. She called me back and told me she would change caregivers..as if she was doing me a favor. I later learned this was part of her personality and that she is even worse in her communication with the employees.

It certainly was hard speaking with the manager after the 1st time I called her. I left a few messages and after 2 weeks I got Holly at the front desk who was very pleasant to speak with and encouraging. She made my photo session for that Friday. I met Lisa at the photo shoot, who was an absolutely wonderful person. She made me comfortable during the photo session and took some really great photographs of me. Lisa was a total pleasure to be around after I got such a lousy start with these people. If they give me what I paid for I will be very happy. If it goes like the first 2 or 3 weeks though I am sure it will turn into rocky roads. Now I will see if high dollar dating is better? Maybe Lisa will give training lessons to show them how to treat a person after they have your money? I am looking forward to all these beautiful ladies they claimed I would meet !! I met 3 men from here, one I found out to be a pedophile after I let him move in with me and yes, I reported this to the FWDC, he is still listed as member on the site. One was a drug addict and admitted it the first time we met. The 3rd was nice, but I let it be known that I am a very active person, and he could not walk more than a few feet at time before resting. When we went on group outings it was the same people every time. I had one member tell me she had never had a date but enjoyed the group get togethers, that is not what I joined for. I have never been so disappointed with the whole process. I am a life member, big mistake, so maybe just maybe someone will come up that are what they say they are.

She's one of the least competent and mean spirited people I've ever known. Please don't agree to the nightmare that is Broadway Cityview for your family. Management constantly changes (3 different companies in 7 years). They failed to recognize and communicate effectively about my parents to my sibling and myself and so my parent kept repeatedly failing. After breaking their hip and having surgery, one of my parents has moved on to another facility that can care for them properly and I couldn't be more relieved. Shame on these people who ruin what should be the best part of people's lives. The food is horrendous as well.
