However, they claimed to have done much of it and charged us for it. Our oven would not turn on. They claimed to fix that, but did not. Half of our outlets and two out of three air conditioners are not working on our generator. They claimed to fix that, but did not. Our tank sensors are not reading properly. They claimed to fix them, but did not. We asked them to fix the doors on some of the storage compartments, but they did not do anything with them. In addition, they took our power cord off the reel and did not give it back. They claim they don't have it. They did fix the control panel. They also fixed the steps and lubed a slide. All of this took two weeks while we had to stay in motels because our trailer is our home. It also got to the point where I expected to call several times to check on the status, because they usually didn't return phone calls. They were well aware of the fact we are full-time rvers.

This is the first time I've heard from this guy since the time he lied to me about the warranty basically they refusing to help me out because I made complaints about their horrible service. I would suggest to anybody these people are liars. It's a horrible dealership. I would not buy anything from them. There's plenty of other RV dealerships that will take ownership and responsibility of their mistakes. I spent $80,000 for a warranty in a van and I'm getting nothing for it. It's a broken van that I bought.

As I was waiting for it to be done my rep and the mechanic come out and tell me I need brakes and if I wanted them to do it. I had hardly used the RV and the mechanic said that sometimes on GMC'S the brake controller is not right. Well I told them I would take it to my mechanic to have the brakes done. After I dropped the RV off at my mechanic ,they told me to come get it that I didn't need brakes . It was 3 or more years later that I needed brakes. Another incident : I had to have a new roof put on RV (over $10,000). About a year after it was done I went in for my forever warranty inspection and was told the roof needed new seals ($1200).How is this possible they just did the new roof less than a year ago. So, I had them redo seals on roof. Now less then a year later I am getting ready for a trip and my bed is wet. I go up on the roof and the seal on fan over my bed is severly cracked. Call General RV and let them know ( they only warranty seals for 3months). There answer was it was a rough year weather wise for seals. How about that for bullshit!!Every year must be a rough year for seal . It's either that or forbid I say maybe they don't know what they are doing at their work establishment. Needless to say I am going to let my forever warranty expire just so I don't have to deal with such incompetence and thievery. It a shame that we RVer's have to deal with companies like this. We left that day and returned with a deposit to hold the camper and start the buying process a few days later. Unfortunately, we were not able to close the deal. When I asked about our deposit being returned, I was told 7-10 business days. Ok, no big deal. One week, two weeks...a month goes by and nothing. I called to speak to someone and was directed to Zack. I spoke to Zack and was told that the request had been sent to corporate, but being that it was Saturday, he would have to wait until Monday to call and see what information he could find out for me and that he would return my call that following Monday. Again, no big deal. I received no call. Another 3 weeks go by....nothing. I called again on 7/1/26 to speak to Zack, he wasn't in. I was directed to Dan and once again explained the situation. I was told that since Zack wasn't in, he would have to wait to speak to Zack when he got in later that day, and that either he or Zack would get back to me that afternoon. Again, no one called, emailed, or left me a voicemail. Being that it has been two months now with no communication from Forest River as to where our deposit is, I felt that I had to leave a review to warn other potential customers. I have been nothing but incredibly patient throughout this whole process. I have called twice in two months. Unfortunately, Forest River lacks in their communication skills and customer service. I guess since our deal didn't go through, we are not as important as any other customer and don't deserve the same respect. Beware of leaving deposits....you may have to fight tooth and nail to get your REFUNDABLE deposit back, IF you ever get it back.

Let me start by saying the front end of the service department was very helpful and accommodating,…read morethey are pleasant and were able to squeeze me in service they were receptive to my every question and very understanding. However the actual service technicians are horrible. When I say horrible I mean it. I was in for an awning fix and an inspection.. they when thru all the appliances to make sure they all worked which I asked them to do and paid for it however everything they touched they either broke or left it opened for me to finish the job. One thing that pissed time off was that they stole or lost one of my solid step pins and replaced it with a lesser quality one. They went thru my fuses and broke the fuse box cover, then just left it broken, didn't even care to replace it. Just careless technicians.... They removed the old inspection decal with a screw driver instead of a razor.... so it gave me a bunch of scratches on the tongue of the trailer I had to spray paint it to avoid rust, they took off the fridge access panel and left the drain IN THE COMPARTMENT instead of it draining outside, So if I wouldn't have noticed it I would have had water damage. In the outdoor fridge compartment.... Who does that !? They went thru the furnace and left the cover lose I guess for me to tighten the screws up myself ? Honestly this place was supposed to be one of the best in town and again the front end and Robert is very nice along with Josh. But you guys have crap technicians. I wouldn't trust your crew to touch my rig again. NO WAY. You cannot treat peoples property like this.
