We bought an RV from them at the RV show in Harrisburg back in February. We picked the RV up from Mountville on 3/25/2026. On the way home my husband noticed the RV pulling to the left (he is a professional drag racing driver) and also an issue with the brakes. Immediately called Pete's and they told us to bring it in. In the meantime, in going through the RV, we found the original alignment which did not pass. Why was this not fixed prior to putting it up for sale. Also there was a noise coming from the dashboard which was noted. We were told that we would be charged @229 per labor hour to fix this....WHAT. Asked to speak to the person in charge who told us she would check into this and call us back on Thursday. Well, you guessed it, no call so I called them the next day and was told they think the alignment would be covered but not the brakes or the noise again WHAT! This is a brand new RV with extended warranties and the Jayco warranty. Told us this would take a few weeks for them to get it fixed. In the meantime the loan payments are due and we have no RV. I called Jayco this same day, they were lovely to deal with and they put me on hold while they called Pete's to see what the heck is going on. Jayco told us this would all be covered but that Pete's had to do the paperwork. Called a week after dropping off the RV spoke to customer service and they hadn't even scheduled this to be taken for the alignment. Again called Jayco who noted this and said they would call. Was told on May 7th that the motorhome was ready for pick up. While it was still there they were to also put levelers on which we paid for back in March and also bug screens which were also paid for in March and dewinterize the RV. Went to pick it up today which is almost 2 months since signing on the dotted line, paid for the dewinterizing (213.00) and went on our way. We got home and looked under the RV there is only 2 levelers not the four that we paid for and no screens. Also, the wheel covers are crimped from not being removed properly during the brake/alignment check and 1 of the covers is missing. Called them again and nobody can explain this incompetence. Finally Shane called and admitted that they screwed up and will pick it up tomorrow to get it fixed so that maybe before the Summer is over we can use it. 2 months, 2 payments and more aggrevation than a little bit. If you are thinking about buying an RV from Pete's RV my advice.... Run Forrest Run and never look back you may add some years to your life not dealing with this business.

I called Mellott as I had in the past because of problems with the slide out and always got the run around. This time they refused to sent anyone out to help. Left me stuck. The service is not even acceptable once the warranty expires. I got nothing but insults from the service manager telling me there is nothing wrong with the slide out, but each time I took it back there was a charge and not fixed. I had to call them the next Friday to ask for an update and got nothing. Called Saturday - nothing. Called Monday and they didn't even answer the phone. I finally got a call back saying it's done. No update. Didn't say anything was wrong or needed fixing. No report from the tech they said. I said Ok i guess that's fine, nothing needed done, I'll be there Wednesday morning to pick up my perfect RV! Not even close. When I got there and was getting a walk through, they started rattling off things that needed fixing. I said immediately don't you think you should've called me for that? So now if I want to fix it, I'll have to go through the inconvenience of bringing it back another time? You could've made a sale on that part and labor if you would have just called. I guess you don't want that? Then I started going through their checklist of things that ARE operable, and I noticed things that I knew for a fact were broken before I came in so I checked them and they are in fact STILL BROKEN! So, I asked why is this checked off as fine if it clearly is not? They got a ladder out to try to fix my awning on the spot, among other things that were checked off. I myself had to climb the ladder to HELP fix things that were supposed to be included in that package deal I was paying for, and they had over a full week to fix but didn't. I noticed more than one of those incorrect checks and lost all confidence that any work was done at all to any of my RV. I will say that the manager was nice enough to not charge me for anything at all, considering I didn't know if anything at all was done in the first place.

We reached out to Rv Value mart and haven't gotten a response. I purchased a tool to help flush it out and after a few hours it is functional now. I don't want to make a huge deal out of this but it's not a good business practice to sell someone a full sewer tank. Buyers beware! If you're buying a new product you would not have to worry about something like this.

It was a long ride but it was worth it. The Ad was true to every detail. Scott showed us the RV and was accommodating and easy going. He was extremely patient while we were able to thoroughly investigate the RV and confirm that it was exactly what we wanted. Andy prepped the RV and oriented us with all the systems within it and how to use them and what precautions to take. It was all clean and shining when we arrived to take possession. Kathleen took care of all our paperwork and we were on our way to new adventures. This is a great family business that I would definitely do business with them again in the future. All promises and commitments were met and our expectations were exceeded. I wish we lived closer. It was a very easy and pleasant transaction.

We had Blue Ox tow plates installed at Harbold's on our tow vehicle in July. After very little use…read moreless than a year later, we were hooking it up to take on a trip and discovered that the bolts had come loose and two fell out of the tow plate. We were very fortunate that we made it back safely from our previous trip. We called Harbold's right away, but they said they couldn't get us in for at three-plus weeks. We had plans for other trips using our tow vehicle, so we contacted an authorized blue ox installer. They were able to look at it in just a few days and they discovered that the tow plates had not been installed properly using Loctite on the bolts as required by Blue Ox. That dealer installed them properly and we are now able to use our tow vehicle. Once Harbold's realized that we were going to write a negative review about their mistake, they offered to take a look at it sooner, but it was too little, too late.
