I had to call them the next Friday to ask for an update and got nothing. Called Saturday - nothing. Called Monday and they didn't even answer the phone. I finally got a call back saying it's done. No update. Didn't say anything was wrong or needed fixing. No report from the tech they said. I said Ok i guess that's fine, nothing needed done, I'll be there Wednesday morning to pick up my perfect RV! Not even close. When I got there and was getting a walk through, they started rattling off things that needed fixing. I said immediately don't you think you should've called me for that? So now if I want to fix it, I'll have to go through the inconvenience of bringing it back another time? You could've made a sale on that part and labor if you would have just called. I guess you don't want that? Then I started going through their checklist of things that ARE operable, and I noticed things that I knew for a fact were broken before I came in so I checked them and they are in fact STILL BROKEN! So, I asked why is this checked off as fine if it clearly is not? They got a ladder out to try to fix my awning on the spot, among other things that were checked off. I myself had to climb the ladder to HELP fix things that were supposed to be included in that package deal I was paying for, and they had over a full week to fix but didn't. I noticed more than one of those incorrect checks and lost all confidence that any work was done at all to any of my RV. I will say that the manager was nice enough to not charge me for anything at all, considering I didn't know if anything at all was done in the first place.

The mega camper dealers are notorious for add on markups to the stated price. Often these add on charges are in the thousands of dollars. Basically, the stated price is worthless. This was not my experience at Bill's. The price quoted was the price paid. The service experience I had at Bill's was exceptional. We picked up the camper and went on a week long "shake down" trip. True to form, we had a problem with the camper. We were camping about four hours drive from Bill's. I expected to hear "bring it back, leave it here and we will get back to you". With Bill's, I could not have been more wrong. The experience I had was that the service team tried to trouble shoot the problem over the phone. When that did not work, they found and sent a service tech to the campground where we were staying. That service tech could not locate the problem and Bill's suggested we stop by on the way home to let them try to fix it. When I arrived at Bill's, the service team immediately engaged the problem and spent hours getting it right. I was completely blown away. I took a stack of business cards and handed them out at the next campground. While I was waiting, there was a string of people coming into this dealership who obviously thought highly of Bill and the team. I am now one of them.
