Took my bookclub here on a Saturday morning and we all loved it. The service was friendly, if a little slow. We had a large group and were able to find seating for everyone. The parking is a little small, but there are businesses around it with more availability. We got there near opening but it quickly filled up so definitely go early if you want a seat. I wish I could give this place 10 stars! The location is convenient, even if the parking isn't ample. The shop is adorable and there is plenty of seating. The girls behind the counter were so incredibly helpful and sweet. They recommended a drink for me that I really loved; it had white mocha and cookie butter with a sprinkle of cinnamon, so good! The price was much less than I pay at my local coffee shop too. The food looked delicious, but I didn't try anything. This is the cutest cafe I've been to in this area! When you are arriving to the location it is right next to the flower shop, it's almost like it's hidden, but that is the correct location. They have comfortable mixed indoor and outdoor seating and it's the perfect place to work remote or catch up with a friend. They offer a variety of flavors for all of their drinks, I had the Samoa coffee and it was decadent. My favorite part, it's not overpriced! They also have a great meal selection. We had the avocado toast and the bacon egg and cheese bagel. Both were super delicious. I got a to go cappuccino on my way out and got to interact with the staff which was super nice! get the exact same coffee everyday and I have come to learn It is pointless to come to this location past 1:30pm. The coffee taste like dirt and they don't make it how they are supposed to. Either some ingredients are missing or we get a completely different flavor than what we ordered. Last week we Ordered a strawberry tea and PAID for 2 scoops of boba and received a dragon fruit with what looked like half a scoop. A lot of the times I will get my coffee with no issue. Other times I get arguments. I am fully aware that cold stuff will melt on hot stuff. Tell me why was I able to get a coffee on the menu with no problem early in the day today but when I asked the same person to make the exact same coffee I'm told they can't do that? But thanks for dumping ALL THE COLD MILK in my coffee when I asked for the foam. But that must be my fault bc I showed up around 2:30. I genuinely didn't know what got up her butt since I saw her 2 hours prior. Seemed like she had to remake the persons coffee in front of me too. Love my slightly coffee flavored milk I can't get remade bc you close at 3. I get incredibly confused every time I talk to one of the workers. Order a tea for the first time and I was told there was only one size available they could give me a regular size but would still charge me for the larger size bc that's the only price option they have. Next time I go get the tea I'm offered a regular size at the price of a regular size and I'm given confused looks when I question it. Order a coffee with cinnamon labeled as an ingredient for the coffee just for them to leave it out and tell me I'm supposed to ask for it. With that being said, there was no space at all to sit and visit because the space is very small and quaint. I really enjoyed their avocado toast and I can see where the atmosphere is a great place to have a meeting or work at. Their bacon is really good as well. However, it's a Coffee house and notice how I haven't said COFFEE until sentence three in this review. I'm a strong coffee drinker. I like it black. I don't mind the bitterness. I crave coffee. I'm addicted to coffee. But Stompin Ground coffee does not do what Coffee is supposed to do. I need 3 to 4 shots of Americano. Unfortunately their beans are not strong enough. It's too watered down, and does not wake me up. If I yawn anytime on the way home from a coffee shop, thats how I know their coffee is not strong enough. Y'all. The do a coffee flight here. Wanting to sample cold brews? You got it! There are 3-4 choices and you can swap them out, but they are perfectly paired. They can't do a hot flight only because they come in the glasses instead of the mugs but I've never come across a coffee shop that goes to the trouble to serve a flight. I'm loving it. The outdoor space is great for kids to play and there's plenty of tables in front and back to sit outside and relax. Good pastry selection as well. Not only was he rude, he literally didn't put any cream cheese on my bagel. Come on, this dude knew he was being a jerk and clearly didn't give a crap about his job. Finally, Hendersonville gets a small cafe that caters to those who are just looking to visit with someone while enjoying a bit of tea or coffee. Is it small? Yes, but extremely cozy. Is it busy? You bet, but the owners reward you with kind words and smiles aplenty. There are even secret nooks you can tuck into with a steaming latte and your favorite book. On my unexpected visit, we had to park at a business down the street and walk because the parking lot was abundantly filled. No matter, we pressed on and opened the door to such a charming, bustling bistro filled with smells of pastries and ground coffee beans. My choice of the day was avocado toast with elderflower and berry hot tea. Perfect way to start a rainy Saturday morning. The best part was that we were not in a hurry and we took advantage. Sitting back and talking amid all the other conversing groups was a delight! If you haven't visited this darling place, put it on your To Do list very soon. After living in Hendersonville for nearly 5 years with a nonexistent coffee scene outside of Starbucks (which I could care less for) -- I was really excited to hear about this place opening. I would give Stompin' Grounds maybe 3.5 stars. It's a very cute and quaint hangout. It definitely seems like a cozy place to hang out with a good book, catch up with friends, plug in the laptop. You know, the typical coffeehouse shenanigans. It at least gets the round up star for charm. The employees were very friendly and informative. I ordered the cappuccino and creme brûlée latte (with an extra shot of espresso.) Honestly, I felt like the drinks were weak. The smallest latte size is a whopping 16oz, and I can't imagine what it would have tasted like without the extra shot I ordered. The cappuccino also tasted mostly of milk. I'm not sure if this is the standard, as I don't have any previous experience with this place. I can say at least, the milk was properly frothed and velvety. I just personally enjoy strong and smooth espresso. Maybe it was just an off day. I'm willing to give this place another try. In any case, it's much better than Starbucks. read more

The staff were welcoming each time we went in. The espresso drink options were unique and delicious, but I did have extra shots added and ordered half sweet, as I don't like my coffee real sweet.
