We came for lunch, but i had to try the French toast. They use big fat bread (Texas toast) which I love. Fresh fruit and granola garnished it. My hubby said the sandwich he had was definitely worth ordering again. Everything tasted fresh, and the hibiscus tea was amazing, probably the best I've ever had. Our server and the woman taking order both checked on us, ensured our waters and coffee were topped off. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu. First time visiting, but not the last! My wife, daughter, and I went for a late breakfast and we weren't disappointed. Not a big fan of ordering at the counter and having them bring it to you, but I must say that the service was very good. Strong coffee like we prefer, very tasty items that were suggested by the person at the counter. My wife went with the traditional avocado toast with 2 eggs, our daughter had the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs, and I had the recommended Benny's Hash that brought a little of everything. All was brought out together and presented very nicely. After digging into my Benny's Hash I knew this was a winner for me. Living on the central coast, fish & clam chowder you could get at every restaurant. Since moving here to Tennessee, we've been looking for a good bowl of clam chowder and went online and found it at Main Street bistro so we thought. OMG, I just tried it for the very first time and I am totally obsessed! The beans with the Huevos Rancheros were seasoned to absolute perfection, adding that extra burst of flavor to the crispy tortilla and the perfectly sunny side up eggs--such a treat! I cannot recommend this place enough! We called about a party of 22 and they were able to get us seated right away! We ordered at the front and everything came to us rather quickly. Staff was so accommodating, answered all of our questions and got us everything we needed. The menu has soooo many options! From basic breakfast entrees to specialty Mexican dishes, a whole menu dedicated to bagels and even pizzas. They even offer hot cocoa, coffee, juices, and soft drinks. No alcohol but that's okay. The lady who I'm guessing is the owner or manager was so sweet and made us feel so welcomed. They are from Michoacán which is is Mexico, I'm so glad that I was able to know a little about them. Our first time here after many have recommended we come. More of a breakfast place, we came for a birthday lunch. Very nice and helpful owner when we were ordering and it is nice to have a menu that has more than the basic comfort foods you see at chains. The food is well prepared and tasty. Portions are filling but you will not feel stuffed afterwards. I will be coming back and definitely want to try breakfast. read more

Accidentally found this place, hidden gem. Food selection is vast, fun take on a semi fast casual ordering style, really good cold brew and traditional breakfast. Food came out fast and hot and fresh. Originally was looking for a chain breakfast spot nearby but there was a line out the door there. Come here instead, you will get in and out and have a full stomach. Prices on point as well. Just amazing experience. Kind staff goes a long way. Oh, and they were able to accommodate dairy allergy, and it still tasted great (That isn't the case for that chain place not to be named that really struggles deviating away from butter and cheese). Had their bagels today and paid 18 dollars for 4 of the worst bagels I think I've ever had from a restaurant/ bagel shop. We ate 1 because my son was so hungry but threw out all of the rest of the cream cheeses and bagels. Kroger bagels would have been way better. The cream cheese was salty, the bagels were stale. Excellence. I appreciated so many things about this place. Ambiance: the choice is yours. One side of the bistro is dim, the other fully lit. Love that I get to choose! Energy is comfortable and peaceful, but also friendly and positive. Every one of the staff members left their own unique impression, yet they were each equally delightful. That is rare. Food was served in great timing with a perfect plate appearance. It was hot, fresh, and delicious! The biscuits and gravy were particularly impressive. The gravy was smooth with the perfect amount of black pepper and tasted "clean". Superior dish! (-and the best biscuits and gravy I've had in Hendersonville!) I tried their Spinach limeade and it did not disappoint. The iced drink was slightly sweet with but a whisper of spinach and hint of lime. Great juice to start the day! Glad I chose it. Pancakes were scrumptious and the potatoes were DELICIOUS. They are perfect little squares and cooked to PERFECTION. Crisp outer edges with plenty of potato inside each one! At almost 20.00, and that's without a tip for a low quality club sandwich that maybe had two pieces of cheap bacon, tomatoes that were almost translucent pink, and two slices of highly processed turkey, which were paper thin was ridiculous. I can go to Herban Market in Franklin, TN, that serves all organic local non GMO for the same price. So, flats: just sliced potato fries but they're really good. Most places these are thick but these are thinner and crispy. The burger: on the good side it's really big and the bun was toasted. Lettuce and tomato fresh and good quality. Flavor was a little bland, not anything super special, but good overall. Looking at the rest of the menu I'm betting this is an awesome breakfast place; have to try that and they serve that all day. Some other specialty items I saw on other plates look good. Food was great!..... once we finally got it. I'd give more stars, but there's one major flaw with the service. We waited over an hour for omelets and French toast. Now once we got the food it was cooked really well, and very flavorful. So if I could score just the food it's a 5 star. While we waited we noticed the room get noticeably hot because of all the people waiting. Maybe turn down the temp while it's full. Also, there's nothing to look at. Hardly any decor on the walls, no TV to distract you, or music playing in the background. Service was great, though we had 3 cups of coffee to keep us occupied while we waited, our servers brought us plenty of coffee refills, but no water refills. We plan on returning to try some other food because it was great. Hopefully they work out the slow service times and turn this place into what it should be. A 5 star restaurant. read more

I stepped into this restaurant after getting a pedicure next door. The lady working the register was really nice. I got the bacon egg and cheese breakfast burrito, which came with breakfast potatoes. She also gave me a few different options for sauces to come with the burrito; I don't remember them all but I went with the avocado one. Unfortunately, I wasn't wowed by the burrito. The tortilla wasn't warmed/ cooked/ toasted, and the insides were not seasoned. I would have liked a little more pizazz- it was really bland. The avocado sauce was good, but I was surprised it was spicy, since the lady working the cash register didn't warn me. In hind sight, I wish I had asked for salsa too, but made the mistake of assuming it would come with salsa even with my request for the avocado sauce. Tried this for breakfast last weekend. Very pleasantly surprised. I'm usually not thrilled with having to order right off the big menu while standing in line...usually need my glasses :-). Take a number and a seat and wait...food was out to us really quickly. We both had the bistro breakfast and split an order of pancakes.
