The coffee was delicious, we had the Confetti Cuban and a black filter coffee. Both hit the spot and were very tasty. My friend got the fig option and salted Carmel, she said they were delicious. The interior is truly precious; it could not be a more inviting, cozy and cheerful space. The baristas were attentive and kind. We sat and stayed for a little while and it was lovely to watch them interact with the "regulars", you don't get to see that often in Nashville. It's worth the trip!

Best coffee shop in Nashville. You'll get it once you step inside. Amazing coffee. Friendly staff. Community-oriented. LGBTQ+ friendly. A bright and beautiful space for YOU.

Went to Matryoshka on a busy Saturday morning when they were having a Connie and Johnny's Donuts pop up. There was plenty of parking. The interior is cheerful and colorful with lots of fun decor on display. The staff were very friendly and the line moved quickly. Ordered the Creature of the night (pumpkin spice latte) and confetti Cubano iced. Received both quickly. They were delicious and very smooth. Definitely plan to come back to try other items!

THIS PLACE IS SUCH A GEM upon walking in my eyes were captivated! The colors just pop at you with a nice color scheme of vibrant colors! Plants included. Merch was SO CUTE! Even had stickers and pins. They had so many trinkets throughout their decor! The details made it all so cute! The place isn't gigantic but it's big enough for a good amount of people in there. Walking in you could smell the espresso roasting while the drinks were being made. The two baristas on bar were so incredibly sweet and welcoming! Beautiful smiles and a welcome in when we walked in. We ordered an iced coffee and the wait wasn't really a wait even though we took forever ordering since we didn't know what we wanted. So relatively fast from order to cup in hand. I feel like the pricing was also pretty average pricing and the drinks tasted really yummy too! Also they were playing twilight on their projector and that was the cherry on top to this amazing experience! 10/10 would recommend and visit again!

We have an expansion!! Marty's opened up their cafe and it's even more GORGEOUS and inviting, the kinda spot you can come and stay awhile! Grabbed an iced americano to go, wish I didn't have to leave, staff is so welcoming!

Had the best Pumpkin Spice Latte here! The pumpkin bread was very delicious too! Will definitely come again

Super cute place located in the allow condominium community. It's kind of hidden so you have to be very intentional with trying to find it. This place is so colorful and full of energy, the moment you walk in you feel uplifted. The staff was super welcoming and the coffee is fantastic! I had the Joanna which is a honey and cinnamon iced latte. It was delicious, it was hard not to drink it all in one sip. I am looking forward to visit this location again very soon!

A friend and I grabbed coffee from Matryoshka with a friend last weekend. It couldn't be cuter. It's very colorful and bright and happy and squiggly and Gen Z. Seriously, we felt ancient here (everyone in the tiny little coffee shop seemed in their teens or early twenties) but that was kind of fun - it's so young and charming and cheery. But it's also tiny (on their Instagram, they call it a "micro cafe")! It has some seating outside, but if it's a hot day (and the day we visited was a HOT DAY), they have very limited seating inside. And unless I'm crazy - do they not have a bathroom? I mean maybe I missed it? Because I thought it you were a coffee shop, you had to have one? But I didn't see it. So it's tiny tiny. The location is also a bit weird? Very isolated in this area with an apartment complex. The service was great, and the drinks are fun! I tried their Confetti Cuban (iced since it was a hot day) which is a pretty traditional little drink with just a bit of sprinkles and fun on top! Such a fun place. Definitely check it out if you're nearby and hope you get a seat inside on a hot day!

This cozy space exudes charm, maximizing every inch with vibrant decor and thoughtful layout. But beyond its aesthetic appeal and Instagramability, it consistently delivers exceptional coffee, featuring intriguing seasonal flavors that never disappoint. My favorites have been a sweet potato latte for the fall, and dirt pudding latte for earth day! But most importantly -- the staff embodies warmth and hospitality, ensuring a welcoming experience for ***all***. While it's unfortunately not on my side of town so I don't come here enough to be a true "regular" -- every time I come here, it's clear to me that this shop has created a beautiful community for so many people of Nashville.

This coffee shop was worth the trip to find it! We walked in and it felt like a small town coffee shop in a coastal town. The staff greeted us and immediately included us in the conversation they were having. So friendly and fun-loving, it's exactly what you want in a local coffee shop. The coffee was delicious and their seasonal drinks were so unique. I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu. The Gas Station Capp was like the perfect cappuccino you get on an early road trip from a gas station, but 1000x better. It even had edible glitter on top, so fun. The Kettle Corn Capp only comes hot and it's the perfect cozy drink with a hint of saltiness. They serve a selection of pastries that are savory or sweet. I recommend asking them to heat it up for the fresh out of the oven feel! They have a new fan here!

This coffee shop popped up just a 5 minute walk from our neighborhood so we decided to give it a try. Really fantastic coffee and a really welcoming staff. The two employees that were working seemed to be stoked to make some coffee and serve customers. The shop is really bright on the inside, and they have a few outside spots for seating. The Coffee: Confetti Cuban- Really enjoyed the cuban with a bountiful amount of sweetness, but beware that it has glitter that will stick to your lips a little bit so that wasn't ideal as a man haha The Joana- Delicious and had a thick almost marshmallow-esque cream on the top which I was a big fan of. I think that would be my order next-go-round. Cant wait to come back and try some of the pastries which looked delicious. This could be our go-to for a quick coffee with it being so close to us.!

So is a bright and colorful coffee shop that's new to Nashville. I initially found this place on Instagram and was excited to bring my boyfriend here to try the colorful drinks that were pictured. The location is easy to find, but parking is a little weird. There are apartments right next to the building so we just parked in one of the available spots. There was still snow on the ground so I'm not sure if any of the parking spots were reserved. The shop itself is very bright and colorful and seems like a great place to take pictures in, but, it is TINY. There were small tables for groups of 2 to sit, but there was a line waiting for drinks so I would imagine it would be awkward if you were stuck at one of the tables that's near the order line. It was also very cold inside, which I was a little surprised by. By the time we got there, the pastries were already sold out which was disappointing. Neither of us were in the mood to eat ramen in the morning, and since it was so cold outside cereal didn't seem appetizing either. At the counter, the lady who made our drinks suggested we order it to go because there was no where to sit. She was friendly and made our drinks quickly. As for the drinks...we weren't impressed with the flavors. My boyfriend ordered the gas station cappuccino and he said the small size of the drink didn't allow him to enjoy the flavor, which didn't have a strong vanilla flavor. The confetti Cuban was cute, but not very tasty. The sprinkles sank to the bottom and was the only bit of flavor that I tasted. We had high hopes for this place, and maybe we'll try it out again in a few months, but overall we weren't impressed. If I went back, I would try a simple latte or hot chocolate and not try a special drink.

Matryoshka is a tiny little coffee shop nestled within an apartment complex. Parking is easy - either from one of the spaces directly in front of the shop in a roundabout-style lot or in the lot adjacent to the apartment complex. I almost missed the shop itself if not for a bright pink sign advertising coffee to the left of where I parked. On the weekends, Instagram shows that they can have a line out the door, but on a weekday morning, I had no wait (and there were only a few people inside.) Wanted to insert some joy into my workday and Matryoshka promises that with lattes adorned with confetti sprinkles, glitter, and cuteness. Their menu is small but hit at multiple things I wanted to try and I ended up leaving with two drink: the Confetti Cuban and a non-coffee all-pink concoction I would easily use to win over the three-year-olds in my life. You can also get lucky-charms-style cereal or instant ramen here and there are exactly 4 two-person tables inside and 2 two-person tables outside of you wanted to hang out and work. There is also a patch of grass in front of the shop that I think would be ideal for chilling on a blanket in warmer weather. The cute decor and somewhat gimmick-yness of sprinkles on coffee might confuse you that their drinks were all style and no substance, but make no mistake - their coffee is genuinely awesome. Perfectly made Cuban (espresso + condensed milk) that wasn't overly sweet. High quality beans. The Charlotte was a rose milk concoction that I was less into, but was also impressed that it wasn't loaded with sugar. If this location weren't so out of my way, I'd make it a more regular addition to my morning routine. But for now, will treat it as an occasional joyful pick-me up and potential warm weather hang with my pup.
