An iconic Nashville activity come to life! Registration through the website was very easy and provided step by step instructions on where to go, what to bring and how to get in. Reminder, that if you are over 21 please bring an ID, makes it easier to get through the front door on Broadway. As an alternative, there is an entrance through the alley between the bars on Broadway and the Ryman that accesses all/most of the bars. After going all the way to the top floor with an amazing view, our instructor Jason checked us in. He did a fabulous job, explaining the process, breaking down the line dance and taking some amazing video to keep to show all your friends and family what a fabulous dancer that you are. HA! They send the video a few days after the experience and its included in your fee. My suggestion would be to either build more time into the lesson to grab drinks between or pay a bit more and have a bar tender upstairs. They do provide immediate access to water because boy shaking it makes you thirsty. Had a fabulous time and definitely encourage visitors to give this a try. read more

When in Nashville I figured taking a line dancing class would be fun and it was. The teacher Lisa, was super fun. She showed us 3 dances and allowed us to vote for the one we wanted to learn. She also recorded the dance and there emailed to us a few days later. Highly recommend this experience. read more

We were looking for something fun to do (that didn't involve drinking as most places in Nashville do) and thanks to Yelp, we had the best time line dancing! Tickets were $41 and were easy to grab the day before. There's three locations you could go to, which I believe are all different bars on Broadway. We ended up on the second floor of the Whiskey Bent Saloon, which added the perfect ambiance. :) The instructors Drew and Josh were fantastic. Not only were they energetic, but also made it easy to follow along to. We got to learn two dances in the span of an hour, and both times we were able to vote as a group for which one we wanted to learn. They also send you a free video of everyone dancing afterward! This is probably one of my favorite things I've gotten to do in Nashville, because it's the perfect way to do something unique in this city! read more

We took a group of 22 teenagers here and we all had a BLAST! The instructor gave clear directions and made the event fun. Afterwards, our students were doing the Boot Skootin Boogie wherever they could find an open space. The only downside was there was no elevator to the dancing upstairs and we had a student in a wheelchair. Luckily, his dad came on the trip and was able to carry him upstairs, but an elevator would have been nice. That student still had fun wheeling around on the dance floor with everyone else! read more

Jason was a great line dancing instructor. The most important thing about this, which he emphasized as well, is that it was a lot of FUN! I'm not much of a dancer, nor have I ever line danced. While in town for a bachelorette party, we surprised the bride to be with a fun activity - a line dancing class! I'm glad we picked the group class because it's more fun with more people. I love supporting small businesses and the cutest little family runs this one. Both the husband and wife taught us dances, and even their toddler came up on stage to do some moves! They provided water bottles which was nice because we definitely worked up a sweat. We also appreciated that they showed us different dances and let us choose which ones we wanted to learn! Absolutely the worst experience. You can't see the instructor at all! How are you supposed to learn to line dance when you can't even see the instructor? Plus she taught 3 dances. The experience would've been easier/better if people stood off to the side during the teaching portion so all students (not just those in the front two rows) could see the instructor's feet/actions.
