I will get to this shortly.. I have also heard about the variety of beers but haven't been lucky enough to try more than 3-4 types. They seem to always have wheat beers on tap. The sour passionfruit one I tasted recently was ok but not too impressive for me. The double IPA that I took home in cans long ago was called Jess & James- this was decent but I do remember a very boozy finish. The 2 standouts I had here were the oatmeal raisin cookie(though not a big fan of spiced ales) and the Peanut alert which is by far and away their best beer in my opinion. This is the one my friend told me about! It is a red ale with a distinctive peanut flavor that matches wonderfully with the malty, red style. I must get a crowler to go every time after I drink one there. This alone makes me stop by here as long they're open!!

I personally like mead more than wine, and upon my visit to Temecula, I was excited to be able to try this place! We came in during a lull, and the owner Derek was there to personally serve us. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly an excellent maker of mead. He even has a variety of fun events you can sign up for like Viking nights where they have axe throwing and turkey legs, as well as Mead-Making classes with the man himself. We went with two of the flights: the new seasonal flavors and the classics. I was a big fan of the seasonal flavors, they were sweet and crisp, and the different fruit flavors really shone through. I liked the Thor's Courage the best of the classics flight, it was a sparkling mead that tasted the most like just classic honey mead. We asked for a recommendation based on our likes, and he offered us a glass of the Golden Butter Bee Mead, and it tasted as good as it sounded. It kinda was what I think Butterbeer should taste like. We ended up taking a bottle home. He also shared with us that he started his company in 2019, right before the pandemic, and he was able to survive by using his own truck to deliver mead all over the country. If that isn't a testament to his dedication to the craft and the quality of the mead, I'm not sure what is. Will definitely be back when I'm by Temecula, and I want to try to make one of the events sometime soon!

It was just like mama bears bed in goldilocks, just right. 2 seats at the bar, attentive bartender a serious beer cooler, taps so cool they have no names, and and ultra bright micro kitchen serving up some good looking grub perfect for this local just off Front street. I met Travis and of course we talked about Garth and how these two brilliant dudes put all this together. The first five minutes of the dinner were pleasant with instructions to order via QR code (no problem). However the issues with service were apparent immediately. Orders were placed for refreshments, appetizers, waters, etc. Within 20 mins food began to be delivered with no names/descriptions of the beverage or plate being delivered. Our group was left navigating who ordered what and determine what beer was what and finding the correct owner. Dinner plates delivered no place settings at the table, no condiments (ketchup) and no drinks for more than half of the table. That lefts us going to the bar to retrieve our own cutlery.... Going to the bar to request our waters and our sodas... even after three attempts to ask for our drinks (water, lemonade, soda) the drinks weren't brought out. Many members of our party had their dinner with NO refreshments. We actually ended up serving ourselves our drinks from a dispenser located outside... we also ended up refilling our own drinks Our water was finally brought out at the end of dinner.. It was the worst service I have EVER had. What a shame.
